When trying Crickles and co, we got the buttermilk pancakes and Grandpa's favorite. The buttermilk pancakes were some of the best I have ever had and certainly one of my favorites in Dallas. They had a perfect consistency and were not dry. The syrup that also went with them were excellent. The Grandpa's breakfast was a good take on classic breakfast foods. Everything on the plate was solid but the real showstopper was the pancakes. I would definitely return here.
We had a fantastic experience here on a rainy Saturday morning! Quick seating, super kind employees, and very tasty and filling food! Our breakfast was fresh and the perfect portion--we were full after finishing but not too full and didn't make us drowsy!! The teas were hot and refreshing, perfect for a cold rainy morning. Oh my! Prepare to wait for about an hour for your food to arrive. I can't remember the last time a party of two had that long of a wait and I was hangry by the time my brunch arrived. For context: this is a self seating, counter service style restaurant. No reservations are taken, it's first come first serve. We must have arrived just as the brunch rush did as our two meals literally took about 53 minutes to arrive at our table. You pay before being seated to there's no fuss dealing with a server but I'm not sure I'd have the patience to return. Maybe not on a Sunday at least. What I ordered: the traditional with their famous pancakes. The pancakes were indeed delicious! Maybe some complimentary coffee or app could've made the experience better. I'll give it another shot.
We visited Crickle's and Co for the first time June 13, 2026. I ordered a BLT on a croissant. The BLT had a small amount of diced tomatoes. I asked for a sliced tomato to put on my sandwich. They said we will have to charge you 3.12. They didn't make sandwich properly then you are going to charge me to make it right??? Really the 56.00 I spent for teo people wasn't enough. Or do you just not care about your customers. Shame on you Crickles. I plan on letting everyone know how you care for your customers. I will never go back.
My partner and I were in the area after running few errands and decided to stop by Crickles and Co to dry off from the rain and have a nice breakfast. I had seen reviews before so we decided to give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute little spot nestled on the corner of Oak Lawn and Throckmorton.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Street parking is pretty sparse but there is a lot across the street. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entering, there's a bar to the right with a few tables and the dining room to the left. You order at the counter, take a number and then head to the table of your choice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is quite small and seating fills up quickly so it can be a challenge to find a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, we did manage to find a small 2 seater booth tucked in the corner which was perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food arrived to our table about 15 or so minutes later. We both ordered Grandpa's favorite platter; mine with toast and hers with biscuits. We also ordered pancakes, a mimosa and latte. The food was cooked well and flavorful. The mimosa had the right balance of bubbly and juice. The latte was delightful. We were pleased with our meals and service and we'll definitely be back!

Service was fine - food was great - happy we got lucky with a table right away. And my Espresso Martini was perfect! We will be back to try more.
So, I had expectations when I came here. My wife and I ordered the spicy bacon sandwich and they make your own sandwich. Both came with a side of homestyle fries with cheese on top. I will say the bacon sandwich was very good. I have no complaints about that at all. However, I'm not sure the home fries were even fried. Quite frankly, they look like they were boiled salt and pepper and put on the plate with cheese on top. We did find a couple with a little bit of browning from a griddle, but out of a plate full of fries only one or two had any browning at all. They were very underwhelming. I did not like the cinnamon roll. Nothing else to say there, it just was not that good. However, it is though waiter/busser that really annoyed the crap out of me. When he first tried to take my plate away I said no thank you I'm still using it. My arms were literally hovering over the plate. The second time he came by my hands were in the same position, and he just grabbed the plate out from under my arms and yanked it away without even asking if I was finished. Not a fan, would not come back.

This spot is a little different than most other places I frequent when I'm looking for brunch. Here you go to the counter and order your items and then they give you a number and bring your items to the table. My gripe about that is there was limited tables and I saw a few folks sitting before ordering which made me feel like there wouldn't be a place to sit after ordering my food as I was by myself and waiting for other folks to join me. With that said, I asked a few questions regarding the breakfast and I was torn between the biscuit and the pancake - I will say I got both and I'm glad I got the pancake there and took the biscuit home. The star of the meal was the mimosa. So when I ordered my food I was told that I couldn't order a carafe by myself, I had to have another person with me and as much as I attempted to reassure her that I had people joining me, I was met with a smile and polite eyes, so I went ahead and ordered a pineapple mimosa while I waited for others to join me. Mimosas can be hit or miss as it has too much juice and not enough bubbles or the bubbles are dry and don't taste good. This mimosa had me watching the door for my friends so I could let them know, we need a carafe! We ordered a carafe of the orange mimosa and it was just as good as the pineapple although I'm still leaning more to the pineapple. The folks come through and get plates off the table in a timely manner - not sure if it's their way of telling you to get up - but it was nice to not have a bunch of clutter on the table. As I stated, this is a quaint spot that I'll definitely be coming back to (mimosa) and the folks there all were really nice.
A quaint little breakfast spot in the gayborhood with a line out the door on a Friday morning must mean this place is good, right? Craving a solid meal and after getting -insert star emojis- PAID -insert more star emojis- I wandered down into the gayborhood of DFW, which I might add is about less than a mile from me. I've seen this place during the late party evenings but never during the day walker's shifts because I'm usually in bed and can't be bothered to leave it. Ask Eddie. It's true. I park my car right across the street from the bar windows to people watch, watch my car, and enjoy the brightness of the sun like an ancient Chinese grandpa while enjoying my glass of water. But I digress to the food. Touch down taco on corn - jalapeño wrapped bacon with eggs and smothered with cheese - I would probably ask them to melt the cheese a little bit but the flavor was stellar. Chef's favorite omelette - goat cheese, carmalized onions, mushrooms, brisket - flavors were lost for me. The mushrooms had texture and flavor that was absorbed by everything, you had the tang from the cheese, and the brisket didn't really do much. It was okay to say the least. Pancake - can't mess that up! For a single mini flap jack it was good.

Crickles and Co is one of my favorite uptown breakfast bistros. They have the friendliest staff and the best vibes in town. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love coming here for a cozy and chill ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though parking can be a challenge, there is parking in the front, and keep in mind there is a dedicated parking lot around the corner on Cedar Springs. I've tried so many things over the years of coming here. I especially love their breakfast sandwiches and pancakes, and can't forget to mention they have mimosas! The barista makes a delicious cappuccino and the lattes are good as well. If you're craving something sweet, they usually have iced cinnamon rolls and cookies in the display case. All delicious! I visited this breakfast spot on a recent trip to Dallas. I was actually planning on going somewhere else but ended up here instead. Parking was fairly easy as there is a lot on the north side of the building. If you are lucky there are 3 spots on the street in front of the restaurant. Upon entry, you are greeted right away by friendly staff. Interestingly enough, this is a counter service restaurant. There is a side bar with cocktails but I didn't walk in there. In the mornings that is where they're making all the coffees. I had looked at the menu for this place as well prior to coming to Dallas so I was familiar with the menu already and chose the chef's choice omelet with a pancake as my bread. We also tried the breakfast sandwich with bacon, but on a croissant. For drinks, we just had an OJ, and a iced white chocolate mocha latte. They don't have fresh squeezed OJ, but it is a bottled OJ which is not from concentrate. Omelet - great flavors with brisket, onions and mushrooms, just there wasn't enough brisket. The potatoes could have used some cooked onions with them. Breakfast sandwich- this was pretty good. They have a condiment bar in the middle of the room which has items for coffee like powered nutmeg and cinnamon, as well as different types of mill in pitchers. For more savory foods, they also have several bottles of hot sauces to choose from from a local company. The habanero goes pretty well on the potatoes. Latte - this was pretty good but seemed to be whiter than the average white chocolate mocha I've had before. Not that much mocha was added I'm guessing. oh what a fun little hidden spot with the fluffiest best pancake we've tasted in a good while. Their biscuits are also homemade. You almost could miss finding this spot as it's hidden on a side road off Cedar Springs but we are so glad we found it and tried it out. Cool interior decor and oh the Carmel Macchiato and the Chai Tea were absolutely out of this world amazingly good. The barista couldn't have made more fabulous drinks. You order at the counter and food is brought to you which makes for quick service to get food but they don't rush you out so enjoy every bite and definitely let others know how good this restaurant is. read more

Quick and simple brunch/lunch spot. We had the grilled cheese w/ tomato bisque, which was phenomenal and the turkey club w/ chips. Everything was delicious and fresh, staff were friendly, no complaints. read more

We stopped in for lunch last minute. The staff were beyond nice and very accommodating. Highly recommend the Southwest Chicken Wrap. I thought it was delicious and I love the honey chipotle drizzle on the wrap. It was very filling and for the price worth it. We will definitely be back for some breakfast next time! read more

I got the touchdown omelette and an Americano and everything was so good! The omelette was fluffy and fresh and potatoes were super tasty. It came with choice of biscuit or toast and the biscuit was amazing with the homemade strawberry jelly. Everything came out fast and I honestly couldn't ask for a better breakfast. 10/10 would recommend. This place hits the mark on decor and their general ambiance. The sweets and pastries look amazing and are well displayed. I'm never blown away by the food or sweets but I'm always reasonably satisfied. I'd kinda define this place as a brunchy, sandwich, and sweets spot. The guy was at the front was very helpful and friendly. One downside is parking spots there are a parking lot in front of it but your car can be towed away . Overall, a pretty good experience. I'll definitely stop in here from time to time. read more

Cute brunch place in Oak Lawn! We enjoyed some brunch here after church on Sunday and we ordered the spicy ciabatta since it's voted Texas's best sandwich! We also ordered the strawberry shortcake waffle and the avocado toast. All of it was decently tasty but none of it WOWED us. The potatoes with the sandwich could've stood to be a bit crispier and more seasoning. The sandwich was okay but a pretty standard breakfast sandwich in my opinion, along with the waffle. I did order an espresso martini which was great! A good option for a brunch or breakfast if you're in the area. read more

I ordered takeout so I cannot speak on the service or the ambience. However, the food was good. Those garlic cheesy potatoes were 100% perfect. They didn't need any additional seasoning quite literally cooked to perfection. The croissant was a bit dark for me so I didn't taste much of the buttery (that's in the description) but the sandwich has a whole was pretty decent I could've just ordered a plate of potatoes and been happy. read more

Excellent little place to have a large group work meeting. Large and small enough not to be too much or too little. The food is quite delicious and you get a good amount of it. The service was impeccable. Parking was tricky at first but I just parked across the street in that parking lot and was fine. read more

The biscuits and jam were delicious! The cafe latte was good but nothing spectacular. The veggie omelette was just ok but I'm glad to see they vegetarian options. I love chai lattes but this one was on the milky side and not as spicy and a chai should be. Plenty of parking even when it is busy and the staff is all super nice. The prices are also great compared other places in the area. Great place for grab and go. read more

This is a restaurant in the Oak lawn neighborhood. When I first walked in, I wasn't sure what to expect because it looked like a basic diner. Don't let the appearance fool you on how good the food is. Now, don't get me wrong. It is a cute little shop. It's got a decent amount of tables for seating and it is seat yourself and you go up to the front to order food and they give you a number and they bring their food to you. I ordered a veggie omelet with cheesy potatoes and a pancake on the side. I also got a carafe of mimosas, and I got my kid a Turkey sandwich with garlic potatoes. The food was brought out promptly, and it was hot and fresh. Everything was amazing from the veggie omelet that had vegan sausage in it, and I am not a big vegan sausage person, but this tasted like sausage, and it was flavored beautifully. The egg on the omelet was fluffy and loaded with toppings. The potatoes were seasoned well, and the pancake was devine. The syrup was even good, not running and tasted like pure maple. I'm glad I only got one because I could have eaten a lot more. My kid enjoyed the Turkey sandwich and the potatoes. They were simple but so tasty. And can we talk about the mimosas!?!? Whoever did the orange juice to champagne ratio knew what they were doing!! It is such a good combo that you can only order the carafes of the mimosas, if there's at least 2 people in your party. So that's gotta tell you something. I also got my husband a breakfast sandwich to go and noticed they offered hot tea, which I love. They only had a few options, but they have unique flavors. I got the coconut Oolong tea, and it was amazing. I didn't have to add any sugar or cream because the coconut gave it just the right amount of sweetness! The staff was also great from the folks taking your order to the folks busting the tables, friendly and helpful. The parking is decent for the area. There is a significant amount of street parking available, that's not too far from the restaurant. They also have a small parking lot, that is almost right next to the restaurant. If you can find a spot, it will save you from having to walk. I look forward to going to this restaurant again and trying even more on their extensive menu. read more

Love it...love it...love it. The menu is freaking awesome, someone should kiss the chef, the prices are spectacular and the vibe is all that. Left the Henry because it was rather formal and pricey, but came here and didn't want to leave. Although you pay at the time of ordering then you sit, the food came out fast and hot with a nice presentation. And did I say Biscuit's, omg they were so so good and buttery. For some reason the champagne in TX was horrible most places, but not here so delectable and good. I have nothing bad to say, however, I long to revisit here..,until next time. read more

I was at an event around the corner at UTSW. While there I checked Yelp for places in the area serving breakfast. I stumbled upon Crickles......I am so happy I gave them a try. The reviews are a little mixed and outdated so I didn't know what to expect. Let me just say the food and service were both great! (I'm actually thinking about heading over there now,lol). The guy at the counter made a few recommendations and we took his advice. I knew I wanted to try the biscuit because of course I'm a bread lover and I could tell based on the pics that the biscuit and the pancakes would both meet my expectations. Keep in mind that I'm. Wry picky with my pancakes because I make the best pancakes ever! I was soooo right. The pancake was perfect, the butter was real butter and I'm pretty sure the syrup was pure maple syrup (I'm a breakfast girl). The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon, the mimosa, the jelly, the apples and cream on top of the pancake....chef's kiss! Seriously, I'm thinking about going back today. A very chill cozy brunch spot! The service here was wonderful. The lady who took our order was very sweet and patient with us. I love how we could order at the register and choose where ever we wanted to sit. We both enjoyed their pineapple mimosa carafe. It was sweet, refreshing and had a good kick. We got a lot out of it and was a really good deal. For food, I had the chefs favorite omelette. They informed me that they were out of the goat cheese but it was still really good with the Parmesan. The brisket mixed the mushrooms and caramelized onions had great flavor. The side of garlic cheesy potatoes were amazing! Pancakes were pretty good. Definitely recommend this place for the hospitality and delicious breakfast at a great price. read more
If apple pie and a waffle had a baby, the Apple Belgium waffle would be it. Waffle was light and fluffy. Apples were a perfect balance of sweet and cinnamon-y and I especially loved the little crisps on top. Chefs kiss! read more

I am giving this place 4 stars because my friends all loved their food and beverages. Otherwise, it would be 3 stars for my meal. I have a restricted diet, so ordered the "build your own" omelette. The egg to filling ratio of the omelette was way off, 3:1 easily. While it tasted fine, it was also very greasy. I couldn't eat either of the regular sides, so was offered the gluten free toast. I said yes, but was shocked to be charge an extra $1 for one tiny piece of toast instead of cheesy garlic potatoes and a homemade biscuit, which are the usual sides. I even had to ask for butter and jam after my meal was served without either. Servers were friendly, and the decor was adorable. My coffee beverage was delicious, well-balanced, and gorgeous. I loved that they have almond milk, so I could get a fancy drink. I would recommend this place to anyone without dietary restrictions only. read more

No sorry we do not take reservations. We are a first come first serve restaurant.
Is this placed closed? I came by on Dec 26th and it was closed at 9 am?
No we aren’t closed. Current hours are Wed - Fri 8am to 2pm and Sat - Sun 8am to 3pm.
