She is extremely knowledgeable about brewing, so it was awesome to hear about how the different beers are made, and understand why they taste the way they do. Second, can we talk about the fact that a fun bus picks you up and drives you to your preselected list of breweries? That alone is cause for celebration. And third, the beer tastings were tasty and varied, which I very much appreciated. We tried lagers, IPAs, porters, saisons, wheat ales, etc. A total of 12 tastings, and all expertly picked. He was so friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable... and he let us pick the music (extra points)! We were a group of 9 and did the South OC pickup from San Juan Capistrano. The shuttle van fits a total of 14, so we were joined by another couple and pair of sisters, who thankfully, were really cool people, so it wasn't awkward at all. The shuttle van was very comfortable and Joseph provided waters and snacks, but you can also bring your own if you like. We visited 4 wineries in total, tastings and winery tours were included in the ticket price, and most wineries offer a 10-25% discount on bottle purchases through Best Coast Tours as well. You can even order your lunch in advance, not included in the ticket price, to be delivered during your lunch stop on the tour. We chose that option and enjoyed our lunch seated at a table on the grass listening to live music. Everything was so convenient and we really got lucky with the beautiful weather. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend Best Coast Tours to anyone from SoCal looking to spend a day out in Temecula without any of the stress of planning and coordinating. They were really quick responding to my emails and kept open communication throughout the whole booking and experience. On the day of our private tour, they arrived right on time. The bus is super nice inside (has a cooler with water, cups, LED lights, and a Bluetooth speaker system). The drive to the breweries was super smooth and the timing at each brewery was perfect. Aaron asked if we could even do a certain time so he can create a new time slot and I made it possible. We did talk about if it rained it would be two clicks to refund me my money. I got an email a few days before our event saying our time was canceled and the company closed indefinitely! So I tried leaving Aaron voicemails and emails and never heard back!! I notified my bank and they are going after them to collect my money! I will never use this company and I'll make sure to warn people before using them if they try to re open again! If you can't fulfill your scheduled times or call people and refund them then you have no right to be in business!
