Do not come here if you are looking for quality health care. Her knowledge is outdated/misinformed, bedside manner is extremely unprofessional, and she's given me false information multiple times. 1. I asked to get a referral for a gynecologist and she said she knows a doctor who accepts my insurance. She read his name out and it was a male-sounding name, so I asked her if she can change it to a female (bc I've had bad experiences with male gyno in the past). She gave me a really annoyed look, told me that they were all the same, and that if I want a female one I can just go to Planned Parenthood. As a doctor, it is extremely unprofessional of her to not only disrespect the fact that I didn't want to see a male gyno but also SHAME me for requesting and refusing to write me a referral if I didn't want my gyno to be male. It wouldn't have taken her long to look up a female gyno (there was a list right in front of her) but instead of doing so she told me "go to planned parenthood if you don't want me to write this referral for you for Dr. Ken." My request was not unreasonable at all given my previous bad encounters with male gynecologists, and the fact that there are many male gyno who are being sued for abusing their female clients. Shame on Dr. Myint for her insensitive response, esp as a female physician. 2. I asked her for a referral to see a gastroenterologist because the heavy rounds of antibiotics I took (to cure viral and bacterial infections I contracted while traveling overseas) messed up my gut flora and digestive track, which has caused me to have loose stools for 8 months now. I wanted to learn how to get my gut flora to recover, and my previous dr suggested seeing a GI before I had switched providers. When I came to Myint about this she STRAIGHT UP TOLD ME THAT ANTIBIOTICS DON'T MESS UP YOUR STOMACH AND TOLD ME TO JUST MEDITATE AND EAT FIBER (both of which I already do and hasn't been helping) and refused to write me a referral. I can't believe she has a medical degree and doesn't know that antibiotics change the way your digestive track works because it flushes out all the good bacteria in your body. I told her that my previous doctor told me otherwise and she rudely said "who is that doctor? Give me her name" And when I gave her my previous doctor's name she pretended to look it up and said "well go to her and ask her to write you a referral" TDLR; I've only been seeing Myint for a couple months but in this short time her limited breadth of knowledge combined with her terrible etiquette has caused me to have inconvenient and frustrating encounters, which has delayed me from accessing the quality care that I am looking for. She is extremely rude and unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this doctor. Save time and go somewhere else. read more

Worst doctor ever! Got my blood test result and just wanted to ask her to confirm if everything's ok but she tried to have me make an in office appointment and won't answer anything I asked her. In our two minutes conversation she could have answered my questions and be done with but noooo she insisted that I have to come in for an office visit. So far I've had a very good experience with Dr. Myint. I have a really unpredictable schedule and so when I first called her office it was at 4:00am, just to leave a message and hopefully get a call back to make an appointment. Imagine my surprise when Dr. Myint herself answered the phone and was able to see me the same day just a few hours later. She was very kind, thorough, and explained what the tests were that she was having done and why (something that a lot of doctors just don't take the time to do anymore). She also made me feel that she cares and was non-judgmental. Very nice staff too! Hopefully I'll update my review as I follow up with her and have more experience, but for now she seems great. read more

My family and me have been Dr. San San's patients for more than a year with our private insurance PPO. I did not get used to her accent but I like the way she explains her diagnosis. Recently, I changed insurance to Obamacare but within the same company. I made appointment for preventive care. When I got to my appointment, Dr. San refused to see me because she said the insurance would not pay for preventive care (her secretary told me that she accepts Obamacare when I made the appointment). Then I asked if she could sign my TB Surveillance form since I had already filled out everything; she refused and said that I needed to be examined and pay $60.00 for office visit; I paid her $60.00 cash. Yeah, she looked into my nose, ear, and mouth; listened to my lung sounds, which was completely unnecessary(I had the form completed last year from my school and needed again this year for healthcare program(thought since I am her regular patient,she would not mind so that I don't have to drop by at the school's student health due to time constraint)). Then, I got my paper signed. I tried my best not to write a bad review on anyone, but I just can't get it out of my mind from this horrendous experience from a doctor who turned into an ugly hungry blood sucking .. in an instance..just could not believe it. Definitely not going back there even after returning to my private insurance again. read more

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new doctor. I've only seen her twice, but the last visit wasn't entirely positive. First her office was really warm. It was only noon and it was well above 80 degrees in there. I could see her sweating so I'm sure it wasn't up to her. It was just really uncomfortable and warmer than outside so it added to an uncomfortable procedure. Also, while I was waiting in the examination room after the assistant took my blood pressure and everything - a guy walks in and has a 20 minute conversation with the doctor. I could hear the whole thing and it sounded like he wanted to rent a house from her. Please take care of your personal business outside of work! I was extra frustrated because I was taking time off of work to be there. There were some other small things that put me off too that aren't worth mentioning. Any of these things on there own would not have been an issue for me since she seems like a decent doctor, but all combined Im thinking it's time to try someone new. read more

Whether you take this one star opinion and believe it or go there and have the copays$ drained down the toilet. Well, do you think it is a harsh reality --yes it is and you will see when you go there. You need to look beyond what's in front of your eyes--unnecessary lighting, neatness, office settings, though they are not 100% necessarily core of treating patients' or clients' illnesses, disease--not mental illnesses but illnesses and diseases that need thorough examinations and priorities. When it comes to sample drugs, watch out for when it is given by that office. Why?. Yes, bright lights are necessary only for certain examinations, not so bright enough that the doctor only concentrates only on $ and have clients suffer longer, INexperienced one with low critical thinking ability and skills, regardless of years she boasted that she worked at Kaiser. Hate to hear reality? That's ONLY part of some realities about the office---know it before it is too late for you to find out. ;-) Families and friends feel much relieved in finding the proper, professional medical cure, treatment, and care when went to a different practicioner. read more
