Go here…read more I recently bought an old steel bike frame with a very poor repair to one of the joints: there was barely any metal holding the joint together, and there was a hole melted in one of the tubes. I was concerned that it'd be hard to get the joint properly repaired, and/or prohibitively expensive. I stopped by Custom Metal Manufacturing around opening time. The workshop is a treasure trove: minibikes, custom signs, and sculptures everywhere. Ed and Gerard were super friendly and great storytellers. Ed looked at the frame, said "I can fix that", and fired up his welding gear right away. Ten minutes of good conversation later the work was done, and at a very reasonable price. The joint is now reinforced with ample steel, and the hole is closed up. Everything I hoped for and more.

The crew worked with me to make sure the handrail was at the right height and even installed an additional support bracket when I requested it. They had all the equipment to create a custom handrail on-site. When I approved the fabrication, they removed it, painted it, then re-installed it. The guys were super careful about not getting paint on my walls and left my property spotless. On top of doing a great job at a fair price, the crew and owner were really nice guys.
