NEVER GOING BACK. The lady i asked to do my nails, acted like she didn't want to do them, and made another lady help her. I went in there with a picture of what i wanted my shape and design to look like, and they ruined it. I kept asking both of the ladies to shape my nails right and they told me "it's the same as the picture" and then one of the ladies had an attitude and was throwing my hand, being aggressive, and I paid $95 FOR THIS!!!! shouldn't have paid at all. This dip manicure was done Wednesday afternoon and this photo is Friday morning of the same week. I keep my nails done l the time and they last 10 days minimum but usually 2 + weeks. I tried this new salon bc it was convenient for me but it was a mistake. I told them I didn't want gel, yet they did a gel topcoat on my dip manicure - which is $10 upcharge FYI. I paid $55 for my nails and $45 for my pedicure + $15 tip.... The other hand looks just as bad, I have 5 nails chipped in 2 days. RIDICULOUS!!! if all you need is a pedicure, they're ok. But I would recommend avoiding them for your nails AT ALL COSTS. I don't leave reviews but I am so disappointed in this manicure I felt the need to share. read more

I called after getting home and noticing it even more. She said I could come in the next day during a specific time, and I told her I was going out of town. "Oh well. That's the only thing we can do. Something is wrong with your nails under the shellac that's why it did that." ...??? I've never heard that before, and I regularly get my nails done. I would've appreciated her just taking ownership. This salon is very nice. They play soft piano music and everyone talks quietly. The inside is cozy, clean and comfortable. My manicurist, Nina, was very meticulous. She was also very sweet. Tiffany did my mom's nails and she was also very pleased. She seems to be the manager and speaks perfect English. I hate writing reviews like this. I had high hopes of this place as soon as I walked in- super clean, friendly staff and very nice looking. They had a huge selection of colored powders and polishes. I had two broken nails going in from a previous nail job from another place and everything was going great until my nail tech started trying to pop off the left over acrylic from my broken nails with a fresh nail tip that left both nail beds extremely sore which were later filed down even more with the drill bit. As she was filing away at the edges with a nail file to get the coffin shape, the file was repeatedly digging into my skin which left huge paper-cut like gashes on 3 of my fingers right by the nails (both pinkies and my ring finger-pictures attached). The buffing tool scraped up my cuticles and left every most fingers red and inflamed. My nail tech did acknowledge her mistakes and put some sort of solution on the cuts which I appreciated, but then proceeded to tell me that my fingers got cut because my nails were too wide. The only reason why i am not giving one star is because I absolutely love my set of nails, how the constant extreme burning sensation from the alcohols and chemicals going into my cuts made me uneasy the entire time. I did request some of the length taken off, but it was forgotten, and to avoid more irritation and filing I just left them as is without reminding her so the job could get done ASAP. UPDATE: it's been three days and I already have lifting on my right pinky and chipping on my left thumb :( Definitely will not be returning- not worth the $45 I paid read more

I really had high hopes for this place being that it is convenient to my home and office. This was honestly the worst salon experience in my 10 years living in the neighborhood. The good- Jenny was phenomenal. My pedicure turned out great and she was so sweet. She eventually came in to rescue the tragedy that became my sister's manicure. The terrible- This was part 2 of a spa day for my sister's birthday. We arrived at 2pm and did not walk out until nearly 5pm with my sister in tears and half of her manicure done. I sat down and Jenny knocked out an awesome pedicure within an hour. My sister was not so lucky. She grows very long nails naturally and the first thing her nail tech did was snip her nails down to prepare for a new full set. I could see my sister getting upset and I asked her why she chose to cut her nails. She said she didn't but was trying to put on a happy face for me being that I was covering the cost. She tried to make small talk with her tech but she was very rude. They were sitting in front of me and you could feel the awkwardness thick in the air. She was clearly not having a good day and I asked Jenny if she could step in to help. She quickly switched nail techs and stepped in to rescue what was left of my sister's nails. The other tech (she never gave her name) openly argued over being switched which just increased the tension in the room. I decided to get my eyebrows done while she was waiting. Huge mistake unless you have a talent for Sharpies. The girl who did my eyebrows was cold and clearly not happy to be there. I asked how she liked the location and she gave me a generic answer. I told her it was a great location but the gas station blocks a lot of people from being able to see it from the road. She said, "So you're saying we won't get any business then?" She dropped wax all over my eyelids but was gracious enough to roughly wipe it off smearing eyeliner down the side of my face. Her next talent was removing the second half of my eyebrow. At this time I ran up to my apartment for a sanity break and to replace my eyebrows. I came back about 20 minutes later to see my sister still in the chair. Jenny did a great job fixing her left hand however we had been there for hours and had a dinner reservation pending so she did not have the time to remove the epic tragedy on her right hand to start over again. At hour 3 it was time to go. I discretely showed the cashier my sister's hands explaining that I would need to pay for these to be fixed meaning that we should not be charged for this. She called two other people over before removing the charge. I paid and tipped for my services and left. You can see the difference in the pictures that the quality is miles apart. The right hand shows the nail polish leftover from her original manicure too. Please avoid this place at all costs! read more

My heart hurts writing this review as a Vietnamese American. I will forever try to support my culture and what we stand for but I cannot lie about my experience here. This is right below my friends apartment and it was grand opening with 30% off all services. I was leaving for Vegas the next day so I was kind of desperate. We walked in, super sweet ladies greeted us. We were conversing in Vietnamese as she's doing our nails. I got a full set and polish change on my toes. After my nail tech was "done" and moved me to get my toes painted. I was NOT happy with my right hand. I've posted pictures to show how awful my set was. My left hand was alright. I had no complaints. As for my right hand, if you didn't notice from the get go that my middle finger is extremely filed and shaped differently than the others and just the shapes in general are all off, then maybe this is the salon for you. I know a lot of girls have trouble speaking up when they don't like their nails but I didn't feel the need to hide my feelings. I told my nail tech I didn't like my nails at all and she offered to fix them. So you're probably wondering why 3 stars. Although she said she was gonna fix them, I was still upset how horrible my right hand looked. I kept staring at them and complaining to my friend how awful they looked. I didn't take her offer to fix them BECAUSE her way of fixing it was to FILE IT EVEN MORE & in my head I'm thinking - if you don't see that you've already filed enough . . ?? So no, I didn't allow her to fix it if she was just going to file it more. I was expecting her to offer to soak off that nail and redo it. I told her she filed it too much and I didn't want it to be any shorter than what it already was and that I would just fix it at home myself - which is exactly what I did. I filed both hands shorter so you can't really tell unless you're staring. I guess I get what I paid for with the 30% off. I will not be returning and I hope you guys have a better turnout than I did. My experience wasn't too bad which is why I resulted in 3 stars. read more

So I went in with a few of my cousins and my sister. They close at 7 and we had an appointment for 6. They were doing their nails and toes, but I just wanted my nails to be done. First I had a different lady and then they switched out and I ended up with an aggressive lady. She kept smacking my hands away whenever she was done with one and would hold my fingers aggressively and told me to relax constantly as if she wasn't grabbing my fingers aggressively. We didn't leave till 7:40 and I can tell she was rushing and just trying to get my nails done. Several of the other ladies kept looking at her work and even making faces as she was still finishing up. I didn't get what I asked for and even when I showed her the design..she messed it up and claimed it was because I didn't get the longer nails. I asked for almond shape and didn't even get that either. As soon as she messed up the design I just told her to do black tips. I was very upset with what I got...and to make it worse they charged me $80! Never going again! read more

The owner rarely smiles, loved my pedicure, my manicure was done by Jenny who did not do a very good job, my nails were uneven, unfiled and dipping power left under my nails. The owner's mother took care of it because Jenny couldn't be bothered. They do not listen to the customers. My friend got a shellac manicure which comes with a little shoulder massage. My lazy manicurist said my much more expensive manicure doesn't come with one, all I received was a subpar manicure l. Not going back. Update.....My nails cracked and broke all but a few, I've been doing this process for a very long time at another salon and this has never happened. Went back to fix the problem and no apologies. Had to go back to my old manicurist who had to cut my nails down short because they were destroyed so badly. She always complemented me on how strong and nice my naturally long nails were. Nail techs were pleasant but service was just adequate. My husband and I both had manis and pedis. I was sitting near the door and during the 90 minute period I was there, three clients came back in to have their work redone. Pretty concerning to say the least. My nails started peeling the very next day. In addition to these issues, I didn't care for the lack of cleanliness across the shop. Dirty towels were laying around and floors were not swept clean. Came in because we got a flyer in the mail and we live across the street, was told it would be 10-15 mins for a mani pedi. Fast forward an hour later and I'm still waiting. I usually don't give it that much time anywhere but i have an event tonight. I just got up and said forget it and then everyone rushed to me to sit down I was next it was because staff was low. I have been trying different salons lately because it seems I get a great technician and she's off for greener pastures. I have been to three different salons - at least 4 visits each to be fair - and finally tried Sanctuary. It is very pretty, they fall over themselves to help me and make everything perfect. I always make an appointment and the first time I had to wait about 15 minutes because they had two groups of three, none of whom made appointments, which threw them off schedule. The could not have been nicer about it. I have recommended the salon to many friends. It is quiet, relaxing and very pleasant. read more
