Finally, my 30 plus member cigar club, from the Venice FL area decided to make a road trip to Naples, specifically to visit The Burn. Twelve of us made a caravan and left Venice, driving to Naples. We arrived and had no trouble finding nearby parking for all of our vehicles. After parking we entered the lounge finding it to be quite large, with a nice bar, humidor and an outside patio too. We entered the humidor and found a staffer who offered suggestions, cut our cigars and even offered to light them for us. We paid him right there and stuffed his tip jar - that was awesome service. We then gathered in the main room of the lounge and began our cigar tasting while enjoying a few Old Fashion whiskey drinks. Then six of us wandered out to the patio and grabbed a nice large table. The bartenders were fast and service was okay. The servers were awesome, prompt and very attentive to our tables - efficient is a great description. We stayed until about 6 PM and then headed home. It was a very enjoyable adventure. I understand Rocky actually has a birthday there on March 10, 2026. Hopefully I can attend.

The bartender confirms that martinis are not on happy hour then explains that the additional surcharge is because a Cosmo has a splash of cranberry juice, so it's martini price plus. Never heard this before. I cheaped out and ordered a house pinot grigio. Regarding food, the visit a year ago was profoundly disappointing. That entree was described as pasta with a lobster tail. I expected to see a lobster tail but there were just a couple of very tiny pieces of supposed lobster tail that must have come from a just hatched lobster. We arrived at 7:05 pm and were assigned only one server. By 7:40 pm, the server was still taking drink orders, so I requested the front desk to assign another server, and they did. However, what shocked us was that both servers assigned to us were new and had no idea about the menu. One of them couldn't even spell the menu items, and I had to dictate the spelling of each item. She didn't know what a flight was, and I had to explain it to her, even though it was mentioned in their bar menu. The restaurant/bar should provide proper training before hiring people. Our food order-taking was done by 8 pm. We waited for our food to arrive, only to get another surprise: the server forgot to write the table number with the food orders. So, she had to take everyone's order again at 8:05 pm. One of the ladies with us ordered a burrata salad, and it took 40 minutes to arrive because the server accidentally gave it to another party. While the food, drinks, and music were amazing, the service was horrendous. I can only say that I am never returning, nor will any of the ladies from our group.
