They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. This experience was better than my previous 2, but did not live up to the hype. This time was brunch for a birthday. Our server was very nice and conversational, however, I think she might have a habit for forgetting to do something unless she does it right away. Before finishing explaining the sauces with the shrimp crudite, we asked a question and she immediately went to go grab another dip and didn't finish explaining the sauces. I was disappointed in the bananas foster waffles. it said there was banana caramel, and then as a separate item, it said peanut butter maple. I asked probably 2 or 3 different times where the peanut butter maple was as i had gotten my toppings on the side after seeing an order that was drenched go past my table. the first answer i received was that it was the sauce i had in front of me. it was not. it was the caramel. the next time i asked, i was told that the peanut butter and caramel are the same sauce. again, no peanut butter flavor in the sauce. the peanut butter was the thing i was looking forward to the most on the waffle, and by the time she offered to just bring me peanut butter i was almost done with it. i will say that it is a very dense waffle and difficult to cut. i'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way, but i had to use some force to cut into what i thought was going to be a fluffy waffle. we had empty water glasses on our table for quite some time with multiple people passing before being refilled. it wasn't until more people cleared out that we were able to get more water. the cinnamon roll thing: a very nice gesture from the restaurant for birthdays. the cinnamon toast crunch on the outside was nice and crunchy, the caramel gelato between layers was smooth, but the roll itself is a different story. like the waffle, it was dense. not sure if that's because it's served cold but we will chalk it up to that, but the cream cheese frosting has chili and paprika in it! so while we were eating it, all of our throats starting to have a spicy burny feeling in the back. imagine red hots candy for flavor profile. we didn't find out until asking that it has the extra spice in it. just something to note, it might need to be added to server explanation that there is the added spicy element, as there are a lot of people who do not enjoy spicy foods. First time here and LOVED it! Everything was fantastic. Interesting menu, amazing food and drinks, great service, and exactly the vibe I want on a Friday night. Loved the live music. My wife and I shared the potatoes, brussel sprouts, chicken dumplings, aged beef potstickers, and crab fried rice. Incredible flavors and textures. The combination of the aged beef, punchy mustard sauce, and salty dipping sauce was phenomenal. Loved the slightly sticky texture on the potatoes from the caramel sauce and the coconut/curry flavor. The crab fried rice was maybe the best fried rice dish I've had. Exceptional, and with lots of crab. All of the cocktails were fantastic. I particularly liked the li chi sour. Rooftop bar and restaurant with a modern twist on traditional Chinese cuisine. I visited on a weekend night and there was no wait for high top seating. Since we visited at night, there was a DJ and plenty of young folk at the bar. It was a little loud for my preference, but I enjoyed the music. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the whole night and recommended various dishes. He did wait for us to finish our apps before bringing out the main course, which made the wait longer as we were picking at the apps. My party of 2 ordered the lobster bao, kung pao chicken wings, crab fried rice, brussel sprouts, smashed crispy potatoes, and mango mochi waffle. Needless to say, we had plenty of leftovers. At first, we were worried about the portion size, as the appetizers are rather small, but the main dishes were HUGE. Our favorites were the crispy potatoes, which had a sweet, caramel-y, coconutty drizzle. I also loved the brussel sprouts, but wish they were a little more crispy. The crab fried rice was heavy on the butter, but you could see so many chunks of crab. We did not love the lobster bao, which was steeply priced for barely half a lobster tail's worth of meat. Tigress on the 7th floor of the perry hotel is such a beautifully designed, trendy spot with incredible Asian cuisine. We went for lunch (the menu is a bit smaller than dinner, but still full of great options), and it was honestly hard to decide what to order because everything looked so good. I ended up with the beef dumplings, which were perfectly pan fried with that crispy bottom, and I had the crab fried rice which was massive! It came topped with a garlicky sauce and roe, and once mixed together, it was hands down the best fried rice I've ever had. We sat outside, which made the whole experience even better on one side you overlook the water, and on the other is the rooftop pool. Between the gorgeous setting, amazing food, and refreshing cocktails (palomas, lychee lemon drinks, and some wine), it was the perfect lunch. Can't wait to come back for dinner next time! read more

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the lamb chop appetizer. It came with 2 chops- one of them was medium rare and one was completely rare. When we pointed this out to the bartender, he said that's how it always comes and that it wasn't rare. It was a weird interaction- like he wanted to argue about it but that wasn't our goal at all. It took 1 month to get a reservation. It was the actual day of my birthday, so even though the time available was earlier than we usually ate we took it. We thought the food was overall OK. Some were very good like the duck entree, but others were a disappointment like the fried rice ( had to ask for soy sauce and some hot chile since it was bland). Service was just so so. Had to find another server just to get additional seasoning for the fried rice. Our waitress didn't come back enough to see if we wanted more wine or water. This was the third place during my birthday week where we have dined out, and the ONLY restaurant that didn't acknowledge it with a dessert. All the other restaurants did. They knew it was my birthday since they commented on it when we arrived. One side of the restaurant had a view that overlooked the mangroves and a far view of the ocean. The other side was a small pool. I wouldn't pay up because of the view especially when compared to other restaurants at that price point with better views and better food. With all that said, it was a definitely a hot and trendy restaurant. It was definitely busy. Good to say we have been to. However, I doubt we will return. For the money, as an elevated Chinese restaurant, it was ok if not slightly disappointing. read more

Wonderful new restaurant on top of Perry Hotel. Went once and liked it so much I went back with another group a week later. You can sit in open air bar and see the Gulf. Or in a beautiful closed in room in the back. Either way enjoy the various small plates to share. My favorites- lobster bao; the rib appetizer; the dumplings; And their special slippery noodles with mushrooms a veggie delight for everyone to share. We chose an indoor reservation, but if the weather is nice, do yourself a favor and sit outdoors, the staff inside only cares about serving the old school Naples money crowd. Although the waiter was nice, that just threw us off. We started with the ribs which were the highlight of the evening. We then ordered the New York Strip, the supreme rice as our main. When we got the NYS, the mean was disgusting! It was gamy, hard and chewy. We rol the waiter treat it didn't taste like steak, that is tasted like rubber duck! He said he will send it back, which he did, just to realize that minutes later the Chef came out to they'll us that we've never had NYS before, and that's how it's suppose to taste, but he added that he'll make us a fillet since we didn't know what NYS is supposed to taste like. I find it not only disrespectful, but assuming that we don't know what a NYS tasted like was mind blowing. The filet came out and it was ok, nothing special. I wouldn't try any of their disgusting steaks, stick to the rice which was good but only if you add Soy sauce, if you don't, then it's just rice without any flavor. I think the vibe of the outside bar was better than the food. So if you want to have a few drink over looking the sunset this is the place. We got a total of seven dishes in less than one hour served to us hot food before salad never good. The manager ended up coming out and addressing us "hi what's the problem here ". We had been wanting to try Tigress for a while and decided to make reservations for my birthday. We were seated indoor at a small table for 2. The noise level made it a bit hard to hear each other but the view and decor were gorgeous. Out server, Yari was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We ordered our drinks and also spicy chicken dumpling, supreme fried rice and the walnut shrimp. We were very surprised that the chicken dumplings were fried. Did not love that. The fried rice had good flavors and the shrimp were also good. They gave us a complimentary desert which was the best part of the meal. The mango mochi waffle. I know it sounds weird but it was delicious and the mango sorbet was refreshing. The service was top notch but for the money that we paid I am not sure we will be back to eat. We went out to the bar area after to watch the sunset and the views, vibe and music were definitely worth coming back for. A perfectly nice experience ruined. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc $12. Ben was so nice to go over our options for apps. The view was nice the food was good. The beef pot stickers and ribs were good the chicken dumplings were fried too much that they were practically burned and hard to chew. The bill came and I noticed that they charged 19 for the wine. I asked the bar tender and he said since I didn't specify he gave me the higher quality one. I said you should have asked me! I didn't even see two Sauvignon Blanc options. HE Said You should have given the name. I paid for it and included tip bc Ben was so helpful. When he came back and tried to say hope everything was good I explained that he gave the wrong answer when I questioned the charge HE Should have apologized and adjusted the bill!! I was furious about the treatment. I reported to hostess. Then we left and were charged to park. When we were leaving the valet said we should have validated parking pass. No one told us. I raised my hand to get honey for someone's tea at our table. The server who saw me ran to our table. They serve Asian food adapted for an American audience. Food was excellent. Everything is shareable. We ordered the beef pot stickers, brussel sprouts, chicken wings, pork belly, snow peas, crab fried rice. Went to dinner last night for a celebration party at four. I'll tell you the view was spectacular and a very nice rooftop bar and indoor restaurant. The bar was full the restaurant not as much 1/2 full of people 5:30 early diners. It's Family style so we had to decide what we all wanted to order so we could try each other's meal. Service was a little slow, but the food did come out hot. The vegetable fried rice was very good along with brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes and asparagus sides were all delicious. On a note of this disappointment, I ordered the fillet as my protein at $95 was extremely disappointed it was kind of gamey. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience and finished our meal then proceeded to have a dessert. The manager of the evening, came up and asked us to finish and move ourselves because he had 13 people awaiting for our table area, I was personally surprised as the waiter never mentioned it and didn't seem to be in a rush. We didn't have a reservation, but the hostesses, Ariel and Roxanna, went out of their way to accommodate us with a perfect table outside--despite how busy it was. The view alone was stunning, but what made the experience unforgettable was the service. Adrian was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and offered thoughtful recommendations without being pushy. He genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. It's rare to find a spot where the staff genuinely cares, but this was one of those rare gems.
