I loved that they automatically include a double shot in their drinks, though I opted for a single after already having coffee earlier. Not the best experience. This place has been on my radar as a potentially healthy lunch option. I have a house down the street - I come down from NY often and finally made it in. I ordered a bowl that took them almost 15 minutes to make. No one else was in the store. One person was making the food with zero sense of urgency. Overpriced to begin with but the level of service with those prices? Insane! The bowl was literally rice, (dry) chicken, corn and avocado- $16! Wouldn't last a week in New York. I had delicious latte with oat milk and the special bagel (cream cheese, avocado spread with pickled cucumber) my guest had Cuban sandwich with pork that was difficult to chew. Waitstaff was enthusiastic but not efficient. This is the BEC on a Kaiser roll and it beats my favorite NYC place because it has friendly people who want to share their love and it has seats/tables where you can sit for a moment and just think, while enjoying any of their coffee selections. I really wanted to like it.... First off the service wasn't that good. The food was just ok. I got the guava and cheese pastries and it immediately tasted very freezer burnt to both me and my partner. It tasted as if the flour was left open in a freezer. Sign says sandwich shop but it should be called a coffee shop. We tried this for the first time for lunch without investigating online and based on the name we thought it was a sandwich shop with deli sandwiches. They had a few sandwiches but limited and all very overpriced for value. My Italian had more bread than substance the lettuce was limp and little to no flavor except for the meat. The bread was tasty and fresh. The only item we ordered that was great was the breakfast burrito. If I were to return it would be for a breakfast item and a coffee. Very clean and nice inside but if you are looking for lunch there are a lot better options in town. read more

This was my first time at Winfield Street Coffee and I stopped in for lunch. I got an iced latte with vanilla and lavender and it was great! I also got a turkey club sandwich and an order of the sweet potato wedges, but the wedges came out as sliced steamed/baked sweet potato. Maybe there was a menu change or they ran out of something, but the menu in store and online said that it was potato wedges with a lime crema and chives. I was expecting something different, but the sweet potato still tasted good and was seasoned well. I'd probably just come back for coffee or I would try the breakfast sandwiches instead. read more

Went here for the first time this week and let me just say, where has this shop been all my life! From start to finish the experience was excellent. I got the "feel the love" bowl with an iced whipped coffee. Both were delicious (the bowl needed a little salt and pepper but that's just my preference). The workers were so sweet and bubbly. I love it here! Checked Winfield out with a friend the other day because it's a mile away from my house and we were so pleasantly surprised! The lattes I've had are amazing, and the breakfast sandwiches are great and huge! It's super cute inside and would be a nice place to hang out and study or work.
