Linda is so hospitable and communication is excellent. She even accommodated us last minute for a late arrival when we needed a place to stay. We were in Salem for Haunted Happenings Halloween festivities. Everything in Boston and Salem was booked up so we decided to take the drive out to Cape Cod for the night. This turned out to be a wonderful experience! We are so glad that we did. In the morning, we went to the Monument beach and marina area. The setting and décor itself is quite lovely. Jan goes out of her way to make people comfortable if they have any special requests. The rooms are clean and the price was reasonable for the long weekend. Jan was willing to accommodate my food allergies. I would have gone out to eat but Jan was such a sweetheart about it. The rooms are clean with maid service on a daily basis, our room shared an outdoor porch on the second floor. Breakfast is served 8:30am-9:30am. Jan is a great cook and Charlie services the food. I noticed he was very friendly to the other customers and talked a lot about the history of the house and the local area. I you are going to Sandwich this is a good choice. Across from the Sandwich Glass Museum and down the street from a few nice restaurants. The area is quiet and closes early. There is no pizza delivery at 9pm.

This year we went to the restaurant which is a big local draw; strongly recommend making a reservation. Nice and clean, big, and looks like it had been renovated too. Typical New England fare for the Blue Hair Crowd. Prices were very reasonable. Great staff too! Both times we've walked down the road, about two blocks and got a cafe au lait and came back to sit by the fireplace. They've a very nice gift store too. Great staff and very hospitable. The room was very comfortable and homey and we didn't feel like a guest in someone's home. Although the room didn't have a TV, we didn't spend alot of time in the room to watch it. Kathy provided breakfast every day we were there, but unfortunately we didn't utilize it because we were up and gone before the breakfast hours. The area had alot of restaurants, icecream shops. It really is just a charming community. We would most definitely stay here again. If you plan to visit Cape Cod don't pass this charming inn up.
