Her prenatal set-up is great. She has a body cushion that leaves room for your belly and breasts, so nothing is uncomfortably squished. Lisa is a magician with her hands. In the 24 hours leading up to our appointment, I received multiple calls confirming our time slot (7:30pm) and the type of massage we wanted. 3 hours before our appointment, I received another call asking if we could come "now", which was at 4:30pm, because someone wanted the 7:30pm slot. I should have canceled right then and there. My partner and I already had plans and wanted to keep our original time. I was told "no problem". Upon arrival, we were informed that the couples room was already booked and that we would need to receive our massages separately. Wanting to salvage our evening, we agreed. My partner was taken behind a curtain in the lobby, and I was taken into what appeared to be a security surveillance room, with multiple computer monitors displaying camera footage. There was no dim lighting or relaxing atmosphere whatsoever. During my massage, my masseuse repeatedly stopped to check her phone, watch reels/TikToks and she left the room multiple times with the door wide open while I was half-dressed. The massage was extremely rough, bending and stretching me into painful positions, and when I spoke up about it, my discomfort was laughed off. Mid-session, another woman entered to ask how I was paying, whether it was my first visit, and if I wanted cupping. The price was again confirmed at $112. After I declined cupping, she began instructing my masseuse on how to perform it anyway. When we checked out, I was told the total was about $143, which was definitely not the agreed price and certainly not reflective of the experience. After back and forth, and exchanging translations through an app, the total was changed to $120-something. At that point, not wanting to further escalate or ruin the rest of our evening, it was paid and we left. This was meant to be a relaxing Valentine's Day experience. Instead, it felt disorganized, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. I won't be returning.
