Updating my review after a couple years. Let me get one thing straight: Dr. Kapoor and Kenya are fantastic doctors and this is fantastic care. But I was essentially kicked out as a patient, as they have switched to a "concierge" system, where you pay an exorbitant yearly fee for more personalized service. They used to have a two-tiered system where Dr. Kapoor was a "concierge doctor" and Kenya was not - totally fine. But I was just informed this is no longer the case, and since I'm not rich, they're not interested in treating me. So I suppose I'll protest in the only way I can, and they've made it pretty simple - a business that rejects me as a customer is a one-star business. If you've got the cash, though, they'll be happy to take it! read more

Dr Kapoor has been my whole family's doctor since 2003. I have never met a more capable, caring, smart, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor than him. His PA Kenya is equally incredible and I feel comfortable every time I come here even when not feeling good. The office is cute and updated and super easy access in Studio City with its own parking. Parking is terrible! A lot of anxiety in office. I was a patient before dr. Kapoor . When they changed the insurance they just dropped me . I felt terrible the way they just let me go. They first tried to sell me a diet package then told me I need to find a new doctor when I wasn't interested due to new insurance. I was so upset. read more

To followup, I submitted a claim to my insurance. My insurance says they never received a reply from Sandeep Kapoor's office, so the claim was automatically denied and I am stuck with the $265 bill. Normally insurance covers this. read more

I went to Dr. Kapoor for travel immunizations only and boy was I impressed with this clinic. I actually saw is PA, Kenya. She was not only on time (a few mins early I think) she was very knowledgeable about the country I was to visit, very informative and service with a smile. I was in and out of there in no more than 15 mins and would highly recommend this clinic to all travelers. If only more Dr's and clinics were like this. read more

I typically don't write reviews on doctors however I do feel strongly about the results caused by Dr. Kapoor. I initially went to him in August 2011 to have cortisone injected into scare tissue from a deep cut on the first digit of my index finger. Dr. Kapoor's technique (lack of experience) of how he angled the injection and the over dosage caused injury and severe damage to the second digit causing an open wound the size of a pea. The central slip that enables you to bend and flex your finger was torn as well as was the tendons on the sides of the finger. I finally found a doctor with expertise on hand surgery to do the surgery in June 2012 and am still dealing with getting the finger to function normally. I asked Dr. Kapoor to please pay for my medical expenses... he was very defensive and said my injury was not his fault and would not pay for any of my expenses. I would highly suggest that you stay as far away from his office as possible. Any doctor who denies his responsibility CANNOT be trusted. I should of listened to my gut feeling when I first walked into his extremely out dated and dirty office. This is also the same doctor who was in court for giving Anna Nicole Smith excessive drugs. If I could give him less than one star I definitely would. read more

Dr. Kapoor is amazing - he LITERALLY saved my Africa vacation! Above & beyond response. I left town without my yellow immunization card for yellow fever vaccination I received at his office and was informed upon arriving in Kenya that I would not be allowed to enter Tanzania without immunization verification. In a panic, and without noting the time difference (it was 6am on Saturday in California) I called the office and Dr. Kapoor called me right back and said he'd go into the office and would email my paperwork to me within two hours. Two hours later I had the necessary documents in my email and my vacation was saved. Dr. Kapoor's friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff have taken good care of my travel immunization needs for the past 10 years and I give him and his office my very highest recommendation. read more

He has an incredible staf.. His PA Kenya is the best PA that Ihave ever encountered. She is extremely knowledgeable and when you make an appointment with Dr Kapoor you always see Kenya first. Dr. Kapoor is a con man. He charges an outrageous fee for being a "concierge doctor" and promises to be on-call 24/7. Nothing is further from the truth. Once you have paid the $4K fee, he is difficult to reach and does not return calls in a timely manner. He has forgotten to do things during an exam which I had to remind him to do! My experience has been that he is not allowed to ADMIT his patients to hospitals and must admit them under another doctor. My family and I are extremely disappointed in him. His staff is good, although they change a lot. Do your homework before you hire him. He has a poor reputation amongst other doctors in the area. read more

Dr. Kapoor was the most wonderful MD for my mom and my family. My mom, who was 97 but totally alert and "with it" and Dr. Kapoor was supportive of her and what she wanted during the last few years of her life. When SHE decided it was time to die, he came to her home and talked to her about dying and letting go. She listened to what he had to say and later that night, she drifted off in the middle of the night, so peacefully, comfortably, on her terms, just as the rest of her life had been. Dr. Kapoor was wonderful to the rest of us, her children, and even attended her funeral!! He is amazing. read more

my 82 year old grandmother told her doctor (Kapoor) that she had a bump on her chest. He told her it must be a hematoma that formed the big bump since she had fallen down a couple of months before. the bump got bigger and she went back to him two weeks later again and Kapoor did an ultrasound and said come back and two weeks and we will keep watch. I saw my grandmother that night and almost fainted when I saw the big bump and begged her to go to another doctor since it looked like cancer It was a big bump! really big! . Kapoor kept her coming back for three more visits before he would recommend her to get a biopsy. so 8 weeks passed from when she first called him about the bump until he finally recommended a biopsy. Of course it was cancer- and it had advanced to stage 3. It could have been stopped at stage 2 if Dr. Kapoor wasn't either so greedy or so incompetent.
