Review is for Sanderson Service Dept: This team is the best of the best as far as I'm concerned. Mike Alevizos has been taking care of my ride for several years. The personalized service I receive on any occasion is pretty much second to none. When I recently found myself in the market for a new car I wanted so much to get that cute little fiat. I'd been pricing them for months until I realized that I'd have to HOPE that I'd get a 'halfway decent' service advisor for regular maintenance & possible warranty issues. Well, this ain't L.A., so my choices would be extremely limited. Total deal-breaker. Since I've found Mike @ Sanderson, I will be loyal to that place as long as I have to stay here in Phoenix.(much to his dismay, I'm sure-I'm positive that I'm more of a pest than other customers/Sorry Mike!!) I've had pretty great Ford dealer service experiences in FL, NJ, Santa Monica & Los Angeles. And then there was the time I locked my keys in my trunk at a rest area in the middle of the Mohave in the summer(idiot!)...the local Ford dealer was about 40 mi away and the service guy drove out to give me a dummy key. Last year I purchased a 2014 Ford Explorer from Sanderson Ford. It was ford certified, and I purchased the extended warranty. Recently I took it in to get some warranty items looked at, I was shocked to find out that some of the items would not be covered, or repaired because the vehicle has been involved in an accident. As I said, I purchased a Ford certified vehicle, with a clean Carfax! I called my sales person, and when I was dissatisfied with his answer I asked to have a member of the management team call me back so that I could discuss it with them. Well it's been about three weeks and I'm still waiting for that phone call!!! I realize that the accident could have easily been covered up by the previous owner, so that's not where my dissatisfaction lies, I cannot understand how a dealership who prides itself and its service will not even call me back, or sit down face to face and discuss what they will or will not do to help remedy this situation... read more

Finally, a new car dealership I will return to! I am generally very apprehensive stepping onto a dealership. In this case I felt completely at ease from the moment I stepped on the lot. I knew they had what I wanted, but I looked at a number of trim levels to confirm. Once we agreed on the vehicle, the negotiation was fair and honest. The trade-in value for my vehicle was very reasonable. I was most impressed with the finance process. Too many times at a dealership, you feel beaten and abused by the sales team, only to have the finance manager take advantage and attempt to tack more on to the deal when trapped in their office. NOT at Sanderson Ford. I wanted Ford Credit, got it, no bait and switch. I wanted a Ford Extended Warranty, go it, no bait and switch with cheesy 3rd parties. I did not want, nor was I offered, paint protection, alarms, or hidden add-ons. I sat at the Finance Managers desk signed exactly what we had agreed to. Best all around new car purchase experience... Andrea park was my sales person, and she was phenomenal. After I told them that having a Chevy on their lot was an eye sore and that they should just give the car to me for free, they didn't agree, but they did give me what I feel was a fair price and after a horrendous week of experiences at the end of the year and month at other dealers, it was refreshing to work with Andrea and Sanderson. They negotiated quickly and didn't waste my time and they treated me with the respect that the other dealers I dealt with sorely lacked. Sanderson Ford does not stand by the warranty of the cars they sell. Sanderson Ford would rather loose a loyal customer of over 40 years and who has purchased 4 vehicles in the past 4 years. The repair would only cost $400 and they refuse to repair it. There services department is rude and disrespectful to women. It was also probably the hottest car shopping day I could have chosen (117 degrees); so that's saying something! Pat O'Brien, our salesman, was quick, helpful, knowledgeable and not remotely pushy. He showed me only the models and trim levels I told him I was interested in, and allowed me to test drive three different Ford models without a blink. He was honest about the mileage on the new vehicle and the trade-in value for my Dodge. The entire process was quick and easy. The service department is a complete joke. I have never submitted a review before in my entire life but I actually set up a yelp account just because this place pissed me off so much!!!!! I called in and explained that my F 250 was sputtering and having some electrical issues. I told them that another shop told me that my computer had gone out and I wanted a second opinion from the ford dealership. Seems reasonable right? I took it in and explained what was going on and the service guy said to diagnose the problem it was going to be $106 dollars making it seem like I could not afford their price. When I said ok thats fine, he looked shocked and irritated. He asked me when was the last time I had a lube job. I said a few days ago then he asked where did you go? I said another shop the same one who told me that the cpu had gone bad. He then said ohhh Ummm hold on im going to go get a Tech to see if we can even look at it. I thought I had heard wrong but I waited for his tech to show up. The so called tech came out and said being how I got a lube job and diagnostics at another shop he told me to go back to the same one because I should just have them fix the problem and gave me this BS that he did not want me to spend money at two different shops because it was a waste of cash.... I just started laughing because the first guy said he highly doubted it was the computer (his name was Brett )and the "ohh I got a lube job some were else" was just to funny....yea got an oil change at another shop so we cant help you??? I truly wish I was making this up! I took it to Kerri's car care on 43rd ave and Olive they thought it was funny too! oh and they fixed the problem it was a bad spark plug cable stay away from these clowns specially the guy named Brett...... He kept transferring me and refused to listen to what i had to say. I called one last time and the man literally started raising his voice telling me he cant help me, when he didnt even know what i was calling for. Dealership needs more experience to provide more details in writing, asked several times, spoke on phone 2x. Have to say the process could be smoother however the final deal was spectacular. Big credit to the finance Mgr who I didn't see or meet until the car was delivered in California. Thank you for respecting my budget, applying manufacturer rebates and letting me drive off a fan. Thank you again Finance Mgr who was on the ball with all the areas of the contract and answering all my last minute questions me and my family had. No switch no bait. I never saw the vehicle before but Sanderson delivered what they advertised on their website. Deal was done on Sat , 2-days after Thanksgiving. I traded in my truck to Sanderson Ford and ordered a new 2021 F-150. They gave me $30,500 for my Chevy Silverado and a good amount of rebates and also honored the x-plan. I obtained my VIN for the F-150 and called the Ford plant to ask about the build date. While looking closely at my VIN, I noticed that the wrong color was ordered. One of the main reasons I ordered an F-150 is for the Lead Foot color. I contacted my salesman, who immediately blamed me for not looking over the order sheet. The problem was, he never sent me an order sheet! So now, the salesman had to re-order my truck and that delayed my build date another month. I was upset because that was not my fault and was due to the salesman not sending me the order sheet to sign off on before he submitted it to Ford. Long story short, I asked if there were any other accommodations Sanderson Ford could provide me, since I was going to be without a vehicle for another month. They told me they would give me a loaner vehicle, but now the build date was going to be delayed even further due to plant manufacturing shut-downs. Obviously frustrated because if the salesman had done his job and sent me the order sheet to sign off on in the first place, THIS ENTIRE SITUATION WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. Instead of accommodating me as the customer, the GM e-mailed me to tell me that he has been doing a lot of thinking and that they would like me to come pick up my already traded-in truck and they would need to cancel the deal because I was clearly "unhappy" with their dealership. I was shocked, since we have a signed contract. I called and e-mailed the GM asking for a phone call or an in-person meeting. They did not have the decency to call or accept a meeting. I received another e-mail telling me again to come pick up my traded in truck and that they were "done" with me. Clearly, they cannot sell my truck for what they want because used car prices have gone down and they can sell my ordered truck to someone else for way more money because they will not have to honor the $5000+ in rebates that I qualified for that they are not offering anymore. I am absolutely disgusted that a dealership with a so-called reputation of great customer service would treat a paying customer this way. read more

Don't waste your time or money getting your vehicle serviced, repaired, or any type of collision work done as I did. Sanderson Ford either has no quality control for the work their technicians put out or they do not care enough about the customer and their property, either way you look at it I would avoid this place at all cost and look else were to a more reputable place that will respect you and your belongings. The dealership uses the lowest quality of aftermarket parts as the non OEM bumper I received has a huge gap under the passenger headlight and the driver headlight does not even look aligned and the response given to me was basically the advisor telling me that Fords quality is trash and I should be lucky that I have minimal panel issues. Not very comforting to hear when taking your Ford to a Ford dealership and hearing an individual who was hired to assist customers and move the brand forward is bad mouthing the brand instead of taking responsibility for the terrible low quality work and products used. read more

I made the decision to purchase a new (used) truck recently and started looking. Boy did I get lucky to have found one I wanted at Sanderson Ford. I can hardly believe this is a car dealership! Seriously, I sent an email, asked if the truck I was interested in was available, Erik sent back, "yes, when do you want to come look?". I went down there the next morning, had a look, test drive, filled out credit app, the finance company came back with 7.5% interest, I said "no way", the Sanderson Ford finance guru said "let me see what I can do", comes back 10 mins later, "will 5.4% work?" YES! Erik shows me ALL the numbers, straight up, no BS. I say, I gotta think about it and I leave, ZERO pressure! I text him back a couple hours later and ask if he'll throw in a bed liner, DONE. Write the deal. BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couple little issues with truck, I take it back the next day, they give me a loaner and say we'll fix it, no argument, no hassle, no BS. Don't bother buying a car/truck anywhere else, you will just be disappointed. I am a customer for life! Here is my personal experience, I would recommend you read this. We have a 2012 F 150 Lariat 4x4 that we purchased simply to pull our boat, otherwise we only drive it once a week to make sure it is running cleanly. It has only 56,000 miles on it and we received a recall notice. I took it to the nearest Ford dealer, AutoNation Ford on Frank Lloyd Wright in Scottsdale. They fixed the item, then told me I needed the rear differential leak fixed ($270), the water pump replaced ($970), there was a leak in the front of the engine ($2,200), oil change with synthetic ($109) the (brand new brakes I just had put on) were low on fluid so that needed to be replaced, they said there was water in them, (not sure how much but probably hundreds of $$$$$). So...I said that is ridiculous, the truck is perfect and I want to get a second opinion. I called my long time friend Tracy Schwartz at Sanderson and told him the story. He said, bring it to his shop, talk with Luke and they would see what is going on. I did that today. They brought the truck back and my total bill including oil change was only $78.38!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They told me there is no leak in the rear differential, the water pump is fine, the oil at the front just has a few spots but no leak, the brake fluid is fine and their oil change was $30 less. Needless to say I was happy and very thankful for the honesty and integrity. No one will touch our truck again but these guys even if I have to drive further. Thank you Sanderson team for the honesty and the great service. I also took the time to thank Mark, the general manager, since I believe this kind of outstanding culture comes from the top. Worst customer service EVER. It has been 4 months and 3 trips to the DMV seance I bought my truck with them and I still can not get it registered because they did not do the paperwork right! I call and ask for there help and they just pass it back on to me to run down the paperwork they did not send. They also tried to add in changes and said it was a "mistake " and had to send out new paperwork 3 times to get fixed when I was buying the truck. Good thing I read what I sign. Beware, bring a lawyer and make sure you have months of time to spend chasing down paperwork if you want to buy from them. read more

Other places always wanna charge me for stuff that doesn't need to be replaced or fixed. I knew exactly what needed to be done and that's all they said needed to be done without me saying anything.
