On 08-12-15 I went to a few local dealerships to buy a new F150 4x4 Lariat SuperCrew. I initially went to Sanderson Ford because I bought a 2011 Mustang GT from them 4 years ago and it was a very hassle free and pleasant experience. I spoke with my old sales person Florin and his manager John. I told them the deal I was looking for, both on the vehicle I was purchasing and my trade, and they worked some numbers up. From doing my research, the numbers were very fair, and I think I was a little unrealistic on what I was hoping to get for my vehicle. I left that night and went home to sleep on the deal and to do a bit more research. When I got home, I looked at inventory of a few dealers nearby. Surprise Ford had a well optioned 4x4 truck with an MSRP of $53,700 listed for $46,768 after $1500 in Ford rebates and $5432 in a discount from them. I called the dealership and asked them if they had the vehicle in stock and the sales man, Tibor, stated he did. I asked them if that was indeed the price on the truck and he assured me it was. I went to the dealership which was 25 miles away, and upon my arrival I gave them the numbers that Sanderson gave me on my vehicle. I also told them if they can't come close to the numbers to just let me know so I don't waste anyone's time. After spending an hour and a half there, they came back, not only not honoring the price they have listed on their own website, but also adding $2699 in add ons, which included a $350 drop in bed liner, tint, door edge guards (which are included on every new F150 by Ford free of charge by the way), wheels locks, and pin stripes. Their out the door price on the truck was $58,800. I could not stop laughing. I asked them to explain to me how they got to those numbers and they could not. I told them that their TrueCar price is actually even lower than what is on their website and they still could not explain how they got to that price. They also do not disclose they add $2700 in add ons on TrueCar by the way. I then attempted to use basic math to show them that if they just honored their price own price they have advertised, they would actually be at just over $54000, even with their addons, which I did not want since they are charging for items that are offered by Ford for free and are included in the price of the truck, at which time the sales manager stated he can take $2000 off. I told him that would put him at $56,800, and he is still not honoring the price on the truck they advertised. At this point, he is either a liar or is not able to comprehend basic math, as he was not able to acknowledge the numbers from their own website which I calculated in front of him, so I decided to leave. It was a disappointment to actually visit a dealer that falls into a typical dealer stereotype in this day and age. The next day, I went back to Sanderson Ford and spoke with my salesman (Florin) again. He told me they are able to do $500 better on the truck, and I even ended up getting a better optioned truck for almost the same price, while paying just over $52000 out the door (Lariat 4x4 supercrew, twin panel moon roof, nav, 20" wheels, tailgate step, 36 gallon tank, max trailer tow package, tint, spray in bed liner). They never did the song and dance of "let me go talk to my manager" and "sign here" or "tell me where you want to be". It was refreshing to be back amongst honest people, and I had my truck in my possession in less than 40 minutes. This recent experience mirrors my first experience in 2011 when I was buying my Mustang, except I was dealing with Peoria Ford (same owners as Surprise Ford, so the behavior does not surprise me). It was lies and deception and they would not honor their own prices online. At that time Flroin and John, at Sanderson Ford, were open, honest and forthcoming with everything, and that is why I bought from them the first time. Next time I'm looking at a Ford product, Sanderson Ford will be the only place I will go. Also, their GM, Tom Collins, is also a very nice guy that is honest and upfront about everything. There were no surprises from start to finish, and I strongly urge anyone shopping for a new Ford vehicle to always to go Sanderson First, as the other dealers will do nothing but lie and try to pull a fast one, especially Peoria and Surprise Ford. read more

They will mess up your car! Check out their filtered reviews, so many 1 stars. After getting a Ravelco security device installed, I've had to drive back to them twice and wait an hour for problems that they caused on one job. Now a third problem later I've finally just given up. Got the Ravelco installed and this is my third vehicle with the Ravelco, never had problems before using this dealership. The Ravelco began heating up to the point where you can smell it. So I bring it back in so they could swap it out with a non-defective Ravelco. I get home and notice a grease stain on my front seat, apparently the mechanic chose not to use a seat cover. I try to clean the stain three times to no avail. Finally they offer to fix the problem and have my car detailed for free and I appreciate that. Two weeks ago I go to switch on my 4x4 headlights and they don't turn on, so I buy new bulbs but they still don't work. The 4x4 headlights are located right above the Ravelco. I call Mike and he says that there is no way that his mechanics could have done that and he stands behind them, so I laugh and say really you stand behind people who have done this to my vehicle three times? He tells me I can drive my truck back to them again and they will check it out,then he tells me that he doubts it was them but they will check it out. I got mad because this is a 1hr and 30 minute drive both ways and I have had to do this three times now. So he offers to drive to my house because he lives close to me. I can't afford to keep doing this, my truck gets 15 miles per gallon. So I take the weekend off two weeks ago and he calls me up the day before and says that he isn't allowed to come because it was a holiday weekend and the shop would be closed. We reschedule this past weekend and he never calls or shows up? Each time he's reschedules it's a week away from the last scheduling lol, it just shows how important I am. If I owned a business and I had a chance to fix something I would do it to avoid an angry customer who would tell hundreds of other customers not to use that business. Please look at all reviews that have been hidden for this business. I would have been a good customer to have but ill never let them touch my vehicle again. The problems I have had with this dealership are a joke and Mike had a chance to fix the problem three times but each time his mechanics did something to my truck. This was the first time I bought a vehicle mainly online. I searched for months and finally I found my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with extremely low miles for a very low price. I had to double check and verify everything beforehand since I live over 100 miles away and the deal was too good to be true. I dealt with Marshall Lillquist, (Internet Sales Manager) for most of the Q&A and he answered all of my questions and provided me with all the information I needed to make my decision to drive 102 miles for a test drive. He was very informative and not pushy at all. My decision was basically made up as long as the test drive went good and the vehicle didn't have any hidden damage. I was a lot later than expected and arrived at the dealership after Marshal had left already. Upon arrival Erick Apodaka took care of the rest of the process. He showed me the car, took my info and let me take it on a test drive and answered all my questions professionally and without any pressure. He was a true professional in every way and after the test drive he took care of all the paperwork, credit check and approval, title, license, my trade in value etc. My experience with Sanderson Ford was well above my expectations and thanks to the two gentle men that assisted me in my decision and the sale I have a new appreciation of sales people. In the past I always saw them as pushy and only interested in the money, but Marshall and Eric took the time to answer all my questions and provide all the information I needed while not being pushy at all. when I pulled up to the store, I was greeted by Paul Crisci. He was extremely friendly, asked what I was looking for and took me to show me some vehicles, No pressure, very friendly and asked exactly what I was looking for. Paul was a true gentleman, professional and very accommodating in what I was interested in and showed me several vehicles. This was my second time buying a vehicle at Sanderson, and it was a.n extremely pleasant and comfortable experience. A few worked together along with Mike the Internet manager to assist me in getting the right vehicle at the price I was comfortable with. Paul also selected a vehicle that was different and color and not one every other person driving would match, ie: black, white, red etc. Then out came Tanner, a member of the star team who went through all of the gadgets, and did not get tired of me asking again or wanting to do a demo to make sure I understood before going to the next item. Last stop was the finance manager and he was awesome. Did not try to sell me anything extra, or try and talk me into this, it was the most professional and relaxing experience I ever had in purchasing a new car. I definitely will return again when its time to look at a new car, and this will be the first place I will refer to who are interested in looking at a Ford product. WOW!!!!! I am still in shock. I have lived in AZ since 2005 and I have purchased several vehicles throughout the valley. I live in the west valley and I have gone as far as Chandler, Mesa, and Gilbert to purchase a new ford. Little did I know there was a gold mine right under my nose. I have been dealing with Erick Apodaca for the past few days and I made my purchase today having walked out of a finance office at another dealer a couple of days ago. What a blessing that was and I could not be happier with the vehicle and the deal I received at Sanderson Ford. Erick said things happen for a reason and that was so true. We bought our 2017 F150 Truck new here through Guillermo Garcia and came back and bought our pre-owned 2018 Escape from him on February 14, 2019. We previously had a KIA Sportage so we looked at both the Sportage and the Sorento. We drove the Explorer, the Edge and then the Escape. The difference between driving the KIA's and the Ford's were huge. The engine noise and pick up and smoothness was like night and day. We knew we had to have a Ford. We were looking for a specific exterior color and interior, low mileage and monthly payment, so we looked at other dealers too. Guillermo took the info down that we were looking for and made sure we drove the different models so we could see the differences. We decided we wanted an Escape. We went to other dealers but were turned off by the pushiness and hard sell. We knew what we wanted and did not want to be bullied. Sanderson was the only dealership in the valley that had the recall part for my Ranger in stock. Three other dealerships wanted to schedule two weeks out for the part to come in. I promptly made a service appointment for the following morning. The next day, knowing full well the up-sell tactics that dealerships are wont to employ, I came in guarded and jaded. John Murphy, the tech who serviced my truck, couldn't have been a bigger relief. He installed the part within 2 hours and did an inspection of the suspension, all fluids, and brakes. There was absolutely no arm twisting involved, and I could tell he was trying to look out for me rather than pressure me into further service. We just bought a 2014 ford flex from Sanderson the salesmen was Joe Furtell this is the second vehicle purchased from Joe and the fifth from Sanderson and there will be a sixth when my son gets back from deployment. Had a small problem with the latest purchase they put new tires on and they were bad no problem Sanderson put a different set on and that solved the problem. At Sanderson your treated like family no high pressure most of the purchased we were in and out with in 2 hours. I bought my first vehicle in 1993 from Andy Reese he is one of the reasons I go back. JD at the collision center has been AMAZING! Almost 6mths ago I took my car in to be fixed by my insurance an he helped me get the best part instead of the after market crap insurance wants to give you. He then was very flexible in assisting with the repair (I have 6 kids). After the repair was done I wasn't able to get my car detailed right away so he allowed me time to wait for the water Park across the street to open so I could take the kids there Instead of waiting in The shop. The first thing i noticed about Sanderson was that when you drive into their lot there are no salesmen jumping on the hood of your car. It is a very relaxed and peaceful environment. I have never worked with a dealership that will bring your new vehicle out to your home and close the deal in your kitchen. Sanderson Ford has done all of that.
