I was looking for a landscaper who did design, installation and regular maintenance, and had reasonable pricing. Manuel fit the bill on all of these criteria, and I was impressed with his landscaping & gardening expertise, design aesthetic and vision, prompt communication and his commitment to excellent customer service. Plus, he's a super friendly guy who I enjoy talking with. Manuel and his team recently completed the job at my house, including planting privacy hedges around my front lawn, putting in a brand-new sprinkler & irrigation system, planting lots of colorful and drought-resistant perennial plants, putting down a brand new lawn, planting new trees, and installing a redwood front gate connected to the hedges. Manuel and his team worked efficiently and did excellent work. And all the while, Manuel was very communicative and always took time to explain what they were doing, and answer my questions throughout the project. I must have contacted 6 or 7 different ones who (a) don't even bother to call you back or (b) won't take "small" jobs. The lack of professionalism and responsiveness are unbelievable! But....I hit gold with JoseLuis. Not only did they return my calls promptly but they immediately scheduled a consult and came on time! Jose works with Lupe, who manages the business side. Both of them are a dream to work with. Their crew are fabulous. They come on time (in fact sometimes early!), work fast and leave everything neat and tidy. Jose and Lupe listened to what we wanted, provided suggestions and expertise. We had an idea for a type of alternative lawn that would have been much more expensive for the back. Jose let us know that it would not work well and we would not be happy in the long run. He recommended a less expensive alternative and he was spot on! I shared pictures of landscaping that I got from Pinterest and Jose took my ideas and brought them to life. The front yard was done with beautiful plants and rocks in a design we just love. The best thing was that Jose was not happy until we were happy. In the back yard, Jose and his crew replaced our dead lawn/dirt with a new, higher quality and more drought tolerant lawn as well as put in mulch, removed dead plants and replaced our dead maple tree with a lovely new one. They also fixed the sprinkler system and the drip system in both yards. Additionally we have a huge tree in the back yard that they trimmed to perfection. Be sure to see the attached pictures. They did this all in ONE WEEK! And kept it within our budget! We are now considering using them for our regular maintenance and I know we will continue to use them for small plant replacements as needed.
