I've been tinkering on my home for a little over a year and have found myself utilizing the staffs wealth of knowledge to get all the things not completed or up to par on the home. Along with thier general construction knowledge they have a great deal of knowledge about all the products they sell, youll be making far fewer trips back and forth. I can tell they do thier very best to ensure you walk out with every little piece to complete what ever your doing . As I made my way to the front station there were 2 females working. I stood there awkwardly for about 20 seconds as I was not greeted. I said hello to an older heavy-set woman who had tons of bracelets on her wrist. She looked up at me, then looked back down to continue staring at a bunch of invoices. She never responded. I had to wait for the younger worker to get off the phone, but she was nice. A guy walked in and said hello to the same heavy set woman and she had no problem responding.. Customer service is everything, and this older woman did not represent this business well. I will continue to be nice to others. One bad apple will not spoil the bunch.

I Just recently had my gaskets changed on my fireplace doors for the first time through them and without bagging on the last place it was completed(locally in Sandpoint), All About Chimneys cost was half of the other place and it is finally done correctly with the proper gasket material. Due to this, my doors fit correctly so now it is extremely more efficient so it burns way less firewood. Their great service will save me hundreds of dollars over the long haul. I give All About Chimney praise for their ability to help the community and keep it safe from chimney fires by their excellent cleaning and inspection service.

I'm a huge advocate of giving kudos where they are deserved but on the flip side, I cannot turn a blind eye when deceit and/or unfavorable actions may take advantage of other's lack of knowledge or awareness. I have recently heard a couple of stories from a few sources that confirmed my recent experience with this company that solidified my decision to seek out a second opinion. Without going into unnecessary detail and slandering this company, I'll just say simply, they will not be getting my business any more. Even if the things I have heard are not true or embellished...the response time, communication, and seeming lack of interoffice discrepancy I have experienced is enough a reason. EVERYONE is busy in the trade fields, I get that, but this goes beyond that fact. Again, no need for details. One of them was apparently in training, and I'm not certain it was him, but perhaps it's not a great idea to make the comment about them not needing to be certified like other companies (not mentioned) do. LOL Personally I don't care as long as it's done right. A lot of "certifications" are to feed the money wheel anyhow and someone can be just as good or even better not having it. Professional, personable, and resolution-oriented. My house was built in 2004 and since I've moved in 4 years ago there's been odd electrical "quirks" that needed addressing: two wall switches sometimes made an odd "click" sound behind the switch plate when turned on; a dimmable chandelier and ceiling fan fixtures' bulbs were flickering and/or pulsing intermittently; and a ceiling fixture's light would surge extra bright for a split second when the switch was turned on. My problems were fixed in less than an hour! I'm relieved and wished I'd called them sooner.

The roofing material was the best among the bids. They were a bit above the low bid, and half the price of the high bid. After reviewing all the bids, it was clear Summit was the team we wanted to work with. They were always on time and fully prepared. They kept me in the look at every step of the process. They have a system that texted me their arrival status so I knew when they would arrive. The install team was simply the best team I have ever worked with in my 67 years. They were efficient, fast, focused, skilled and very happy. They were singing while they worked and were nearly dancing on the rooftop. Just watching the teamwork was enjoyable, and even inspiring. The cleanup was also outstanding. They tarped the area to catch debris and ran magnets to pick up any stray screws. The job was literally perfect from start to finish. The purposely took a longer drive to the location and didn't follow us adding 35 minutes to the charges. When asked, Sal lied and said there was extreme traffic on the highway to which I replied no there wasn't. I pulled over and waited for you and you missed my exit. He just shrugged his shoulders. They also have somebody new who can't back up a trailer to save his life. I wasted at least another 20 to 30 minutes watching him try to jockey a trailer. All those things would be fine if they didn't include them in my charge, but I got charged an extra hour for all this crud. Oh no, they did the job, but I can't say I was confident or happy at all during the process.
