The cost was high, but considering the amount of work to be done, seems fair. One caveat--the instructions about keeping your valuables/treasures with you are serious. We lost an entire box of Christmas ornaments to the purge; ornaments collected & treasured for decades are gone, especially disappointing since Christmas decorations were the one thing I had asked to be spared. Since we were asked to leave the house while the work was being done, & all our furniture & belongings were piled into the center of each room, then covered with a tarp, the loss was not discovered until too late. I assume the cardboard box itself had developed some mold, but doubt every ornament inside was unsalvageable--it was only 2 1/2 months after Christmas & no mold had been visible then. M&D sent out four ladies, and they did a great job. We were mainly looking for baseboards, high dusting, and light fixture cleaning, as well as floor cleaning (hardwood, carpet, and bathroom tile). It was a workday for me! Anyway they arrived and hardly spoke English and I don't speak much Spanish. Recommend to the company that they send someone who at least has some basic knowledge of the English language so its not hard to explain things to them. Ok, well, I opted not to get any of the extras as all i really needed was some vacuuming, dusting, and basic cleaning.
