The team arrived on-time and they worked very hard to get my single level single family home clean and fresh. Cons - I can't use anything in my house for fear that it will lose its like new shine. Elena and her team are THE BEST! I sent a quote request and Elena got back to me in under 20 minutes! She said she would like to stop by and give me a more accurate estimate by walking through my home. She had time that very afternoon and stopped by to introduce herself. She put me on the schedule for the very next day! Elena is so very kind and you can tell she takes a lot of pride in making sure the job is done up to her high standards. She talked to me about how she likes to clean the stove and what products she likes to use to clean the home. She stayed and chatted for about 15 minutes and I felt she was someone I could trust in my home with my pets. She explained to me that some of her team is new (and in training) and that she likes to accompany them on the first several cleanings to make sure they are doing the job to perfection. I allowed Elena and her team to clean my home during the day while my husband and I were at work. We have 2 dogs and a cat and the girls were so sweet with them! I could easily check-in on the cleaning since we have Nest cameras set up inside our home. I came home from work that evening and my home was SPOTLESS!!! As soon as I walked in, my home smelled fresh and clean! The couches and carpet looked awesome and WOW my kitchen looked fabulous! Everything was so neat and tidy. The girls even vacuumed my cat's condo! It looked GREAT! And I love the details: the tissue box with the fan design, the rolled up blankets on the sofa and the perfectly placed pillows. They even fluffed the GIANT dog bed my Great Dane uses! Elena and her team cleaned my old place twice and I didn't have issues. When I moved to my new place, I decided I would use her company again since we got along well and the company did a good job. This is when the issues started. Scheduling a walkthrough was a hassle. I had to text to see if she was still coming after we scheduled since I didn't hear back and need to leave at a specific time. She replies late that she was sorry and was going to come. Ok, I understand people get busy so I let it go and didn't take this as a red flag. The day of the cleaning appointment, I hear nothing. They were a no show. I was curious to see when they would call or text me... still nothing. A week later, Elena texts me asking when the appointment is. I was in disbelief. She apologized and offered a discount. Keep in mind that this company is overpriced compared to others so I was expecting great service and not no-shows. I decided to give her a second chance and I finally made a new appointment. I let her know I would send a reminder list of the areas we discussed (it has been over a month since the walkthrough) when I made the appointment and she replied "ok, thank you". Today (July 17th) is the cleaning appointment. I sent the reminder list as I said I would and, to summarize, she says that I doubt her work and won't be happy because I'm still upset from last time and that she doesn't like being treated wrong. What?! I'm very much under the impression that she didn't want to do the cleaning for the discount and was looking for a way out. It was weird to have that reaction when it was everything on the list said during the walk-through as my new place has a completely new layout compared to my old home and there are a lot of things that can be easily damaged. If you can't show up to an appointment, how am I suppose to expect you to stick to what we agreed on for the actual cleaning? Very unprofessional and now another no-show. I used to be impressed, a few years ago, while using Exclusive House Cleaning. The attention to detail and the quality of services were very good. Slowly but surely that changed. I ended up insisting that the owner, Elena, is present on every appointment to ensure that previous quality of service is maintained, and obviously ended up giving her a pay raise to make that happen, which I was not quite happy about. Along with a few items broken here and there in the house during the visits, like a water flosser which I was reimbursed for, I decided to put up with it because I used to believe in Elena and that her company could provide a better service. Well, that changed completely when after setting a regular cleaning appointment nobody showed up and I was rescheduled 3 times within the last 2 days because "2 girls did not showed up for work". While I understand unpredictable happens this is way past normal reasoning at this point trying to find excuses, not showing up for work etc and disrupting all our existing schedules in order to accommodate theirs... The above reasons are a few of many that I feel changed the previous quality and dependability of the services offered which now faded and are Not what they used to be. There is no value left for some of us still using this company. I recently moved to Fairfax from Arlington and wanted to use a house cleaning service in the Fairfax area so I spoke with Exclusive House Cleaning's owner, Elena and set up a time. The cleaning crew came on time on the day of, but did such a terrible job handling my belongings! I was home working while they were cleaning and the entire time, all I heard was banging and clanging and things falling around my house. At the end, I found out they broke a nice picture frame of mine, which I complained to Elena via phone and she took off $20 for it. A week later, I went into my guest bathroom to find out they broke a light figure above the bathtub and decided to HIDE it by leaving it in the bathtub and covering it with curtains. Elena was great to work with she was prompt on her reply, we reached out to her months before we closed on our home and schedule for a deep clean for our new home and a move out clean for old house. She came with her team. On our new house and focused on the kitchen however they didnt quite get everything she said was included in the deep clean, they clean but not clean the grout which was an issue for me. It needed to be cleaned. She wasn't present the whole time during the cleaning and two stayed the whole time and two rotated out. She left a team of 4 girls to clean my house from 8am- 3pm. My concern in the kitchen was the nasty grout from the previous owners and they tried to clean but i was pyong for a deep clean. I ended up getting stanly steamers to come out and tackle the job. As for the rest of the house her team missed 5 areas that were never touched. Top shelf of the master closet, laundry room, pantry, the side of the fridge had nerf balls and dirt left and the oven/stove was never pulled out to clean in between all of this was mentioned that was included in her deep clean which we paid $420 for this deep clean service. Now when she came for the move out clean she came with one other girl and they did a great job on our old house, we only needed broom clean for that house but they knocked it out the park. Everything is always done better when the owner and or boss is working. This review is mainly for the first house and the lack of attention to detail, I expected more for what we paid. I did a quote request on Sunday afternoon, to this company along with two others. Elena replied within minutes! I told her I have a 10,000 sq. feet house, but only need outside of kitchen cabinets cleaned, the stainless steel appliances cleaned and polished, dusting on the main level, hardwood floors cleaned and carpets vacuumed - in addition to cleaning master bathroom shower and soaking tub only (no toilets or sinks). Oh, and the washer and dryer wiped down. She told me it would be a crew of 2 for $50/hr. I was fine with that, but I needed them to come do it before Christmas day. I just KNEW they would be all booked up, and I was not hopeful, but she said they could be there the NEXT DAY at 11am!!! WOW. Talk about service! The girls arrived on time Monday morning and Elena called me to go over exactly what I needed them to do, so she could relay that info to them in Spanish. When they came into the house, I showed them what and where I wanted cleaned, asked them if they needed a ladder (I didn't know if they were even WILLING to climb one) to clean the top of the kitchen cabinets and they said, "yes".
