I was moving out of a rental home, and didn't want to be bothered doing the bathrooms and (very small) kitchen. I requested quotes from many companies, and this is the only one that replied. The reviews were good, so I went for it. The appointment was set for arrival between 2-4. At 1230, two women showed up, in a private vehicle, without any type of uniform or company logo on their clothes. The movers had just left about 30 minutes prior, so I hadn't even had time to sweep. I explained I was most worried about the 1.5 baths and kitchen, and if there was time left, other areas could be addressed. They got to work using extremely pungent chemical cleaners, which meant I had to turn on the fan, the fan above the oven, and open all the windows. It was 40 degrees out, mind you. While they're working, they are having a conversation, completely in Spanish, probably assuming that I didn't speak the language. However, I do, and they were commenting on how dirty the house was, and going back and forth, making not very professional comments. I'm not sure what they expected when I hired them to CLEAN my house. Then the phone calls started. One of them got about 10 phone calls in a 30-45 minute period. She took each and every one, put it on speaker, and kept going. At one point she was speaking to a man (still in Spanish) and saying some not so very nice things about her sister. After the calls, she received a barrage of text messages. She answered each and every one. It's been about 3 hours at this point, (I hired them for 4) and they started wrapping up. They had turned the oven fan off to clean, so I went to turn it back on to try and get some of the smells out, only to find a fan blade broken off, which they swore up and down they didn't do. They gathered their things and left, with just under an hour left to work. I went in to look around, and the bathroom was still dirty. Where they mopped, there was still sticky stuff on the floors. I emailed the owner about these things, to which she replied that she was sorry "for the miss communication" and that was it. So all in all, I paid almost $300 for two women to come into my home, insult me, use profanity in another language (which doesn't make it any better), break the fan (that I have to pay for), and then I still had to spend the next hours cleaning what they should have. I do not recommend them at all. Very unprofessional. read more

This was the worst experience with a cleaners i have ever had. 1. They set a scheduled arrival at 130pm and showed up at 1130am. 2. They told me its my fault for not being ready and the staff proceeded to tell me how they have to do it now. 3. The owner (Angela) then refused to discuss this on a call and would only text me. 4. Over the text she simply explained they are busy and i should have been ready at 1130 am (2 hours early) 5. She refused to give me a firm date as to when we could reschedule. 6. I've used Angela's on and off for the past few years. And while the cleaning is great. The scheduling is abhorrent. The cleaning team is always 30-40 mins late. The final straw was this last time when I had booked for cleaning from 8-10. 830 rolls around and still no cleaning team. Call/text owner and she says "oh they went to the wrong appointment, they'll be there at 10". Problem is I had somewhere to be at noon meaning that there was a conflict now bc the team was gonna be there from 10-12. There was a reason I booked from 8-10. I ended up having to cancel my noon appt and incurred a 50$ fee bc of that. Angela offer me a free oven clean for my "trouble" WHOOP DEE DOO. Never. Again. read more

I've been a bi-weekly subscriber to Angela's Cleaning Service for more than a month now and I couldn't be happier. I see extremely critical reviews of cleaning companies on here and I can't help but to laugh about people complaining about cleaning under their couches and stuff, but I suppose everyone has different expectations. I'm sure that if I walked around with a white glove, I could find some discrepancy, but I'm realistic, I believe you get what you pay for, and I feel that I get a great value. In the past, I've randomly hired different cleaners from time to time, but I recently decided to subscribe to a regular service. I emailed several of them for estimates and I received a variety of different responses and prices. Angela's was among some of the lowest priced quotes, and she really set herself apart from the competition with by far the best communication. We discussed the details and setup a schedule over email late on a Sunday evening...some of the other companies didn't get back to me for days and many only replied with a canned response. The great experience didn't stop there either... Angela sent me a recurring calendar appointment for the dates of my cleanings, and after my place was cleaned she billed me using PayPal, making it very convenient for me to make payments and keep track of them. I scheduled my cleanings for a weekday while I'm at work and I've never seen the staff who clean my place, but I really appreciate their work. After my second cleaning I noticed that a flat brown magnetic strip used as a boundary marker by my Neato robotic vacuum cleaner was missing and likely mistaken for trash. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and I can understand how something that looks like worthless trash could be mistaken for worthless trash, but I contacted Angela and notified her of this just to ensure that it didn't happen again. Angela replied almost immediately with one of the most sincere apologies I've ever received from any service provider, and she discounted my bill for the cost of the strip! I never asked for a discount or complained of the cost, so I was really happy when I saw that she took the initiative to make it right. In recent years I've really become accustomed to poor customer service, but I'm always thrilled when I find someone who breaks the mold and does it right! I'm really glad that I found Angela's Cleaning Service and I look forward to more biweekly visits from them in the future! Angela's cleaning service just completed a move out cleaning for our old Townhouse that we had moved out of and are now renting out. I was extremely apprehensive having used a maid service before who pretty much destroyed our bathroom walls with bleach and damaged furniture. The stove in our house had been destroyed by the owner before us, and after years of cleaning and scrubbing, and soaking; I had just accepted that it was never going to come clean. I walked in to the townhouse after Angela's crew had cleaned it and it was sparkling! They showed up on time, did a very thorough job. I paid them in cash ahead of time and then left; which I realized meant they could have easily taken my money and run. Our move out date changed and they were very flexible with rescheduling. The entire cleaning (including carpets) took a little over four hours (yay). The cleaners asked me to walk through the house and inspect their work. I noted a few items that were overlooked (our move out inspection checklist was very thorough) and they quickly cleaned the areas. I was looking for help to come on short notice and do a deep clean and was SO pleased at the communication and service I received from Angela's. They responded quickly and by chance, we were able to set up a time for the next day. They fit me in and even called in the morning to say they were running a little behind would it be okay if we pushed it 30-45 min. update: well I was using their biweekly service for almost 2 years. I had a few problems with them, but I have to admit, they clean to my expectations. They switched crews on my a few times, after I finally get comfortable with them. After talking to Angela, the same person kept showing up, and when there will be someone different, she will call me and let me know. I have tried other cleaning companies before, and Angela's cleaning is the best. I stopped using them due to moving. I have not used their carpet cleaning services, but when her brother was helping helping her out, he vaccumed my floors very very good, and he also did my couches. Love them!! Been using there services for about 2 months. They also arrive on time, they are quick and pay attention to detail. My house always smells good when they leave. We first used Angela's for a move out clean for a rental property in late 2015. They did an amazing job so we decided to give them a try on our own home for a deep clean a couple of weeks before the delivery of our first child...I was so impressed to come home to such a clean house. The two ladies who came were so thorough, and the attention to detail was just...wow. We are a rescue family and have 2 dogs and have had NUMEROUS fosters in the home so the dog hair was a serious problem...they tackled it with gusto and everything looks great...they even cleaned out from under the sofa and collected all the dog bones that had been banished to the abyss...so my dogs had a treat of a pile of bones to come home to.
