It is a beautiful property with great field for turnout, a nice and well kept indoor and outdoor arena, clean and spacious stalls, and a cute and cozy tack room. Carly has a great training style and took me from just barely trotting to placing 2nd at IEA National Finals at Tryon NC in just 2 years. Every ribbon I've ever earned is with Winward. Carly has a great eye in choosing the most perfect ponies for everyone. Every horse that Carly has ever found for me has been a perfect fit. This barn is a great place for all types of rides and their horses. Winward is not only a great place to improve your riding, but to also make some lasting memories, and life long friends. The best kind of camp-Surf Camp! This is the fifth year a group of seven cousins have spent a week…read morewith Summertime! The cousins look forward to it all year! The water safety training is real, the atmosphere relaxed and the lessons last a lifetime. The crew is excellent- the coolest folks on the beach- the crew treat the kids like younger siblings. They guide them, rib them and laugh with them the whole time. Our group stays half day. Each half day is organized to include yoga, free swim, races and of course riding waves! It is safe to leave the kids and enjoy free time. It's also ok to take advantage of the great photo opportunities too! For four years our group was at the Belmar location. With Covid, the Town of Belmar was not allowing any vendor groups. Both locations were ideal, there is a large tent for 'tent talk' , relief from the sun, and to store gear. There are plenty of staff and adjacent lifeguards in both locations and Summertime is constantly aware of weather and maritime conditions. Rash guards (yellow or red for Kiki camp) and wetsuits and boards are all available to use on site! Dont hesitate, sign your kids up!

Very nice facilities and great, well taken care of horses. Anne and Katie are very friendly and knowledgable and over all super nice people. I learned a lot in my time taking lessons here and think I was able to make some very nice improvements with my riding. I was very sad when my career took me elsewhere. Give them a try :)
