We arrived with a party of 7 and no reservation but were seated quickly with no hassle. The bartender appeared to be doubling as the server but took great care of us. The menu and draft beer list aren't extensive but what Nicks does they do well. There were enough selections to accommodate everyone, including a vegetarian member of our party. My waffle fries were to die for. Nicks is a great spot for a solid meal in the heart of Old City Philadelphia.

And I will say it was a little better than I remember last time. I got the works with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and provolone. On this one the beef was a little better than last time.
