We purchased a very attractive tall, vase shaped fountain. They came to the house and installed it. But it was quite top heavy and relatively unstable with a narrow base. A couple shims at the bottom and it was OK for a year or two. One morning it was knocked over and broken into pieces. We went back to the business and when I asked about the installation and the lack of any tie offs or other means to keep it from falling over, the individual got quite huffy. Took no responsibility for the installation. Wouldn't even give a break on a new one. Left very unsatisfied. For a tall, narrow fountain, there must be means of providing some measures against squirrels, wind, etc. from pushing it over that would be part of the installation. read more

This place is a family favorite! We've been getting our Christmas trees here for years! Their customer service is second to none! They're friendly, helpful and go the extra step to make sure their customers are happy! Their pricing is fair and they deliver. The owner gave my daughter a ceramic turtle she pointed out was "so cute" a few years ago, a very thoughtful gesture and example of how to create lifelong loyalty. My wife and I were looking for a wooden table for our backyard. Found Paul through craigslist, and was a little concerned at first. But I saw the reviews and thought it was worth the risk. I purchased a 8ft modern style table. The reason is it gets really windy in my neighborhood and wanted something sturdy. Just got my table this morning and... WOW! It's gorgeous and sturdy! We love our new 8-ft table and benches and are so glad to support a local business. Ordering and delivery couldn't have been easier. Table is large but we were able to get it through our front door on its side and out to the back patio. The hole for the umbrella fits our 11-ft umbrella. Will easily seat 8-10. read more

Horrible experience. The most unfriendly people and absolutely no customer service skills. Drove all the way out there from Rancho Cucamonga from a craigslist ad- actually they have several posted - and guy said he wasn;t the one at the company who posted the listings and didn;t know anything about the special craigsllist pricing. Prices are high for crudely made merchandise, in my opinion. Definitely not worth the drive -they need to get help that cares about the customer. The guy looked like he just rolled out of bed and had the crankiest of attitudes. Avoid this place at all costs in my opinion. read more

They have a lot of smaller statues, pots and garden ware. The goods might have seen better days but they aren't so good looking. Most of the figures and fountains are very roughly sculpted. Paul is fantastic! We are finalizing a major DYI landscaping project, and our 15 year old daughter has felt left out of the project. We needed 8 large planters, and left it up to our daughter to make the selections. When Paul (the owner) came over to help us, I referred him to my daughter. He worked with her to find exactly what she wanted. It was blazing hot yesterday, and Paul brought her a parasol to keep her shaded while they worked together. The 8 very heavy concrete planters are being delivered next week! Prices were about 50% less than what we were seeing at various nurseries. read more

Small place but good selection of cement statues and decoration pieces etc. Found from a Craigslist add, unfortunately not as many items in stock as shown, but good non the less. It's all the made in Mexico stuff, but good quality. Prices are right where they should be. December 18th we paid $75 for a 6ft Nordmann Fir tree which seemed a little pricey based on the date of the sale and compared to other places that sold 7ft trees for $65 during Thanksgiving weekend. After discussion and looking at the tree's we decided to pay the price and move forward. The guys loaded the tree in the truck while my husband paid. When we got home this is when we noticed the temporary stand was still on the tree and would require removal. This required a hammer and a nail bar and about 20 mins of work as the nails were quite large. Upon removal of the temp stand, the bottom branches had to be trimmed to fit in our stand requiring about another 10 mins of work. The bottom line is for the price of the tree, their services could have been better. They could have removed the temporary stands, or at least volunteered to do the prep work, or told us the work that would be involved. In Summary there are other places that will give you a better value for your money. read more

Well, this is my first review and I'm glad that I'm starting it with a five star rating for an experience I just had about an hour ago. I've been going to Sanfords Foothill Fountains for my Christmas Tree for the last few years. Since I recently moved near South Pasadena, I decided to try a new Christmas Tree Lot on Mission and Fremont. Their service was HORRIBLE and their ugly trees were ridiculously expensive. So my boyfriend and I jumped in the car and went over the Foothill Fountains again and we got a really nice 6ft Douglas Fir for $35. Right in our budget. It's a small lot of trees, but very nice ones and reasonably priced. That other placed wanted $80 for the same tree I got. Heck no! If you live in or near Pasadena, save yourself some money and go to these guys. They are super cool! read more

This place is a kick! You can get all of the serious stuff like fountains, and pots, but the rusted out furniture is fantastic. All you need is a little creativity. Very unusual things, rustic and fun. prices are decent and Paul is willing to help with painting, sanding etc. I bought a piece of ironwork and he had legs put on it for a fireplace screen.
