How sad, truly, because there are going to be people who simply just don't recycle then. It does take more effort to load your car and also to separate things into the proper recycling receptacles here but oh so worth it if you care about the environment. I hate plastic and paper waste in particular. Some people take for granted the trees, and what great benefits we have from them, and so many are being cut down for housing, other buildings, and lots and lots of shipping nowadays. The least I can do is recycle the box my things came in. It was killing me throwing plastic and paper away, till I yelped and I found this recycling center. It's so convenient and it's great! The center is very organized and is perfect for taking your things and helping our environment. It's an extra step in my day, but I'm glad to do it. You can recycle steel, paper, paint, plastics, and they even have a donation area. I will say they don't take styrofoam, but otherwise everything else went! If you collect trash, they will take it but charge a fee to get rid of it. I'm so happy to have found this place, and I thank everyone who utilizes this place for doing their bit for making our environment a better place.

So I hauled em to the Recycle Center in back of the Cumming Fairgrounds. They took em all for $3 a can and they didn't make me empty them compared to my trash company who won't take 'em all and wants 'em empty. The other thing that's happening is my trash company won't recycle glass (beer empties). So I'm gonna use them for glass too. Easy to get to (Castleberry to Tolbert). Nice people and a nice, safe, clean environment.

It's easy to drive up, start sorting recyclables, and then drive off. I appreciate all the work people do here at the facility to stay organized and keep the property clean. It can get busy on Saturdays but the week is very efficient. This is great service to the community and awesome service for residents in Fulton County.
