I also love love love that they have a large item pickup day. I don't think they take anything enormous, but they have been accommodating when I needed a bean bag and an ottoman picked up. One time, being a tired mom with a newborn, I missed the truck. We had a ton of garbage that week (newborn baby) so I ran out to the sidewalk and flagged them down as they were leaving my neighborhood. They could have kept driving, many trash services would have, but they stopped and took my garbage without question or complaint. The reason you don't see a ton of reviews and that a couple are bad reviews is people never think about their sanitation company. It's a set it and forget it type service. If they're doing a fantastic job, you'll never see them or notice they were there. But if they mess one thing up one time, you sit up, take notice and blast them on Yelp. For every negative review on here, there are thousands of customers who are pleased with their service. Keep doing what you are doing Sanitation Solutions.

Red Oak Sanitation is by far the worst trash company I've ever dealt with. Their service--when they…read moreeven show up--is completely unreliable. On the rare occasions they did service our neighborhood, they left garbage scattered throughout the streets and routinely left trash cans in the middle of the road, creating traffic hazards. One of their drivers told me I needed to break down my boxes in order for them to be picked up. I followed the instructions exactly the next week--boxes were broken down completely--and yet they were still left behind. Their customer service is virtually non-existent. During business hours, they only have an answering service. I left a message and never received a callback. I even attempted to use their texting option as suggested, but--just as I expected--there was no response. If you have a choice in sanitation services, I strongly urge you to avoid Red Oak Sanitation at all costs. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic service.

One week when our trash wasnt picked up, I realized I hadnt seen a bill lately. I tore my house apart, searched through every email, nothing. I called the company, but they have no one to answer the phone and hang up after 10 min. I tried the "pay my bill" service over the phone, but they claimed to have no account with my phone number. No response to my "contact us" submission. I finally try to the text option. They were able to provide my account number so that I could access my account online and there of course was an overdue bill I was never sent but with no indication that service was terminated. I paid the bill and asked for clarification on if I was still scheduled for pickup. They said no, my account was canceled. I sent additional messages asking clarification on what needs to happen for my pickup to resume (paying fees, etc) . 5 messages, no responses. In essence, they canceled my account without sending an initial bill OR reminder through mail, email, text. Nothing. 10/10 customer service! Don't trust anyone who sells services door to door.
