Sanlando Park is a hidden gem in Orlando! I can't believe I've lived in central Florida for so long and not known about this place to hike with playgrounds, restrooms, and sports facilities! It's so big here! We just hiked and enjoyed one playground, but I can't wait to come back for more! Tons of parking, restrooms, water fountains. One note-- I didn't see trails being clearly marked.

Sanlando Park is a huge park. There is plenty of parking and there are plenty of sport fields. It has an extremely large parking lot, which is good news, because it is extremely popular. At least, it was extremely popular on the day that I was here, which was a Saturday. All in all, this is a good park to head towards with a lot to offer.

My grandson and his friend had a great time playing at Sanlando Park. The park is spread out and has lots of tennis courts, sand volleyball, hiking trails and a big playground. There are bathrooms, pavilions and picnic areas with charcoal grills. There is lots of parking available all around the amenities. The playground has something for all ages and is mostly covered by enormous beautiful trees. The equipment is well maintained and updated.

This is a beautiful and large park! Tonnnnss and I'm telling you tonnns of tennis courts (25 to be exact) to play on! They have racquet ball, basketball, volleyball and even a one mile jogging trail... and you can't forget a nice playground for the little ones! You can spend hours here enjoying the outdoors. I highly recommend checking it out!

Main draw: tennis courts and basketball court. I found an exercise park located at the softball complex, which is hard to find in this area. Pull up bars and other equipment. There is a paved running trail as well.

Seminole County's Sanlando Park is located just west of I-4 in Altamonte Springs. The park's main focus seems to be tennis with 40 + courts and multiple tennis events, courses and clubs. They also have racquetball, basketball and volleyball courts as well as pavilions, a playground, a 1 mile wooded fitness trail with exercise stations and restrooms. The park is 40 shady acres and offers convenient access to the adjacent Seminole Wekiva Trail. Best thing about the park? Entry is FREE!

Awesome trail for biking, running, walking etc. It starts off 436 before 434 leads somewhere in Lake Mary. I always seem to make it to Peach Valley, get breakie, and turn back home lol. Very shaded to save you from the Florida sun.

This is a wonderful park if you like tennis. Multiple courts, clean restrooms, and everything is well maintained. It's also adjacent to the Seminole Wekiva Trail/San Sebastian Trailhead if you would like to get in a walk, run, or bike ride.

This beautiful and well maintained park offers an array of recreational amenities. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the basketball, softball, tennis, and racquetball courts along with a soccer on the multipurpose field. As a nature lover I enjoyed the many boardwalks with views of the lake and the sidewalk which meanders through the entire park. It is perfect for walking for exercise and I saw the cutest marsh rabbit as I made my way through the park. There are also two fishing piers. Kids will spend hours playing and on the two imaginative playgrounds. Secret Lake Park is also home to the recently renovated Casselberry Recreation Center which has a main room, ballroom, billiards room, computer room, outdoor deck area, activity room, and outdoor pavilions. The recreation center offers many programs from youth to senior. They include exercise, yoga, Tai Chi, Zumba, and dance classes. I found out about this park because I came with my wife, our son, and our granddaughter for a playdate. The park is home to the Altamonte Fast Pitch Academy and Babe Ruth Softball. They have three full size softball fields that are used for the softball academy, for Babe Ruth Softball, and you can also use them to practice on as well. Located between the three fields is a concession stand and the restrooms. What I really lived about this park is the three playground areas they have, each playground has their own set of things for kids to play on and a different theme for each area. They also have a swing-set area which includes a swing that you can sit in with your child and be able to swing together. There are also to pavilion areas for you to choose from one is called Oak Pavilion and the other is the Beach Pavilion which has two beach volleyball courts for you to play volleyball on which is a nice touch. Lastly I love the scenery of the park it has lots of great looking trees around the park. So if you are ever in the Altamonte, FL area and you want a nice secluded park to take your family to then I would recommend Merrill Park.

Located in Altamonte Springs near Jamestown and 434, Merrill Park has three softball fields and three beach volleyball courts. Although the restroom aren't the best at least they are real working bathrooms! The park was well maintained and clean and this Saturday we went, quite busy. There is ample parking nearby and a fitness trail leading from the entrance into the park. Overall a great find and so close to Altamonte and I-4! I've driven around the area many times and never knew this quiet park was tucked away amongst the trees!

Basically, a battle of the local rock and roll bands - a variety of different members from different bands come together on two teams for one day with a purpose to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Tickets are only $5, bring a foldup chair, 10x10 tent, a cooler and it's a great time watching all of our friends compete with one another on the field. Torcaso Cove Park is a great place to hold this event. There is a spacious field with plenty of space on the sidelines for fans. There are several parking areas available making parking easy for large events. There was plenty of space for a half-time show with live music right by the field. There were also a BBQ vendor and several other vendors on site selling food, jewelry, and other items. The park has a public restroom, a playground, splash park, sand pits, plenty of paved walking areas, a picnic area with tables, large pavilion, a beautiful bridge that crosses the heart shaped cove, the park has a bunch of Muscovy ducks waddling around and is dog friendly, what else can you ask for. Nancy and I really enjoyed our time at the park, we will definitely be back to bring our dog and take a nice walk. I just have to mention that it was a bit muddy on the field, even on a hot sunny day. So be sure to wear something you don't care about getting dirty.
