Good luck renting a tennis court -always a competition going on or so many instructors taking up available courts. This is a hidden gem of a park that has lots of amenities and plenty of parking. There are tennis courts, trails, a playground, pavilions for rentals, and more. You can reserve a pavilion in the park office in person. I paid $40 for a reservation on a Saturday morning that could have held up to 40 people and it was located right next to the restrooms and there was even a beach volleyball set up which was really fun. I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone and I will go back. read more

Great shaded park tucked away in a residential neighborhood with lots of trees and a newly paved path. Even on a hot day, there are lots of trees to make the walk feel cooler. There are lots of pickle ball and tennis courts. Plenty of parking spots and it's also pet friendly! There are doggy poo bags and trash. There are also pavilions you can rent. read more

It's so big here! We just hiked and enjoyed one playground, but I can't wait to come back for more! Tons of parking, restrooms, water fountains. Sanlando Park is a huge park. There is plenty of parking and there are plenty of sport fields. It has an extremely large parking lot, which is good news, because it is extremely popular. At least, it was extremely popular on the day that I was here, which was a Saturday. All in all, this is a good park to head towards with a lot to offer. read more

I've been playing tennis here for the past few weeks consistently. The programs they offer are really great and participation in the community is high! My tennis league 4 weeks ago had about 9 girls and this time around there is almost 16. Park offers tons of tennis courts and you can rent them out for personal use as well. Plenty of shaded areas, trails available and I even spotted some outdoor basketball courts the other day. Great park for recreational sports. read more

Yet another park on our family's central Florida park tour. We are on a mission to go to alllll the parks within a certain radius of our home and I was kind of shocked we had never been to this one before. Especially because it's a gem of a park! So much room and so much to see and it's very well kept. I loved how shaded the park is because honestly I hate being hot (and yes I have always lived in Florida) but I live that vampire life now. Give me all the shade, please. There's plenty of swings for kids and lots of equipment for kids of all ages on the playground. That's mainly where we stayed but I am aware there is so much to do beyond that here. I would be interested in trying out some of their other features on our next visit. read more

My grandson and his friend had a great time playing at Sanlando Park. The park is spread out and has lots of tennis courts, sand volleyball, hiking trails and a big playground. There are bathrooms, pavilions and picnic areas with charcoal grills. There is lots of parking available all around the amenities. The playground has something for all ages and is mostly covered by enormous beautiful trees. The equipment is well maintained and updated. read more

This is a beautiful and large park! Tonnnnss and I'm telling you tonnns of tennis courts (25 to be exact) to play on! They have racquet ball, basketball, volleyball and even a one mile jogging trail... and you can't forget a nice playground for the little ones! You can spend hours here enjoying the outdoors. This is a beautiful park for many occasions! Basketball courts, tennis courts, and an open field for many sports, or other activities, and a big playground for kids! I came to this park with my son so he could diminish his energy after being bored at a small park. This playground is a few feet away from a pavilion which is great for any outside birthday parties, and the playground has multiple activities for younger and older kids kids. This park is park of the Seminole Wekiva trail, so walkers, joggers, cyclists will be passing by occasionally, or drop in for the park. read more

I can here for a tennis tournament and we really enjoy this facility. The parking is plentiful, the courts are in perfect shape, there are tons of trees for shade, the clubhouse is nice, and the bathrooms are clean. The 1985 award winning USTA National Tennis Facility of the Year hosts many large tennis events and is a favorite location of many participants in the local tennis community. The 40 acre park has 25 lighted hard tennis courts and 6 lighted racquetball courts with 1 backwall for warmup. read more

Awesome trail for biking, running, walking etc. It starts off 436 before 434 leads somewhere in Lake Mary. I always seem to make it to Peach Valley, get breakie, and turn back home lol. Very shaded to save you from the Florida sun. read more

Sanlando Park is excellent for anyone who wants to play basketball, tennis, and raquetball. This park offers all these things either free or for cheap rental prices. Tennis courts and Raquetball courts are typically $6 an hour and the facilities are excellent. Well taken care of and defintely well designed. The park also offers running paths as well as a playground for the kids. The tennis courts also host lessons and all that can be arranged via the front office! The location is a bit weird in that you have to drive into a neighborhood (or so it feels like) but it's really a great local park! Oh and there's no admission fee to get in! read more

Sandlando Park located in Altamonte Springs(Seminole County) right off Park avenue right near the Altamonte mall. I come here at least twice a week with friends to play Basketball in there courts and i have also been here to a birthday party and all i can say is this is a pretty nice park kept pretty clean and in good condition. They don't just have basketball courts but also volleyball and racquetball and also have a trail that goes across Seminole county and thew Montgomery road. There is plenty of activities that go on here and if you want to have a BBQ or a birthday party this is the place to be, it is located just off Park avenue past the mall right before Montgomery rd. Free entry and you can play as long as you want. read more

This is the second time that we've had an office get together at Sanlando. It's clean and well shaded. We are able to reserve a pavilion with plenty of picnic tables at it. There is area around the pavilion for us to set up a few games or throw the football around. We are in close proximity to the basketball courts as well. Parking is never an issue, there is plenty of it close by. The park is conveniently located in Altamonte, very easy to get in and out of at any hour. read more

This park is right near the Altamonte Mall with entrances from two main roads. If you come in from the Douglas entrance down North Street, you can park your car and pick up the Seminole Wekiva trail, or enjoy any of the baseball and softball fields there. If you come in from the other entrance off of W. Central Pkwy. and Laura Avenue, you can loop around to the right and come up to several gazebos with picnic tables, or you can continue straight into the parking lot, park your car, and be immediately greeted by tennis courts. There are numerous basketball courts here where me, my brother, and our friends enjoy playing. You can usually jump in on a game with people you don't know or just wait for a court to open up. There are also numerous hiking trails all throughout Sanlando Park that all lead into each other or back to the parking lots. They do close the gates at dusk however, so be careful not to get locked in. I believe that if they see a car is still there they make an announcement over the system before just locking the gates, but you never know so be sure to be ready to go once it starts getting dark. There's no entrance fee to get into the park and all facilities are first-come first-serve except for some of the softball fields where local softball teams have regularly scheduled practices. Oh yeah and lastly there is a workout trail all the way through the park with different stops to do various exercises. read more
