I am very thankful for Santa Barbara Airbus getting me from Goleta to LAX on time. I was caught in…read moretraffic during my drive down from Lompoc, CA, and the driver, passengers, and staff were very helpful in making sure I was accommodated. I left my car at the Goleta terminal, as I have done in the past. As a side note, I also wanted to ask whether there is still a discount for customers who drive down from Lompoc, since doing so saves Santa Barbara Airbus fuel, time, and labor. Either way, while the departure from Goleta was hectic, it was ultimately successful, and I appreciated the assistance. Unfortunately, my return experience was not as positive. When I arrived back in Goleta, I noticed that my car was not parked in the front lot, where it has always been in the past. I asked the driver if he could help me get my car and my keys. He had already unloaded my luggage and was seated back in the driver's seat. When I asked for assistance, he casually shrugged his shoulders and appeared unconcerned. At that point, it was after 10:00 PM. Although we had arrived about 35 minutes early, I was standing in the parking lot with my luggage and no clear direction about where my car was or how I was supposed to retrieve it. I finally had to ask the driver if he was simply going to leave me and my luggage there and drive away. Only then did he ask me for my name and phone number again, make a call, and begin looking for a solution. After about 15 minutes, a very kind young lady came to assist me. She explained that she was "on call" that evening, confirmed my name, showed me to my car, and pleasantly helped me continue on my way back to Lompoc. I truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness. However, I did pay for parking. Only the first five days were free, and I was charged for two additional days based on my return date. Someone forgot to move my car to the front parking area and failed to inform the driver about my keys. That oversight placed the driver in an awkward position, required another staff member to come assist me after hours, and delayed my trip home after a long day of travel. Santa Barbara Airbus is better than this. Extending a 17-hour travel day because of a preventable communication failure is not the level of service I have come to expect. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that future passengers are not left in the same situation.

I arrived early and the lady at the front desk greeted me was quite chipper considering it was 5:20am. The bus driver was helpful and helped me tag my bag. The bus was so comfortable and quiet, it also had free wifi. For my return journey I accidentally was waiting at the incorrect stop (the drop off location), the bus driver from the first ride recognized me and pointed me in the right direction. I thankfully made it to the right spot. The employees are kind, helpful and work hard to get you to your destination. I would definitely use SB Airbus again.

If you are attractive to Oxen, then perhaps you make Oxen-hard. This is not that…read more Greyhound in Oxnard stops at the main Amtrak station which is a big reddish building with gorgeous shapes on the towers and roof, and actually looks a little bit more Northeastern and Midwestern then it does like quintessential California. Oxnard is a busy but sleepy City that reminds me of San Luis Obispo and Ventura and Santa Barbara, and the station is a similar size to those, and not too many people who live around here use the Greyhound anyway in my experience. The Oxnard Transit Center is actually mainly all about the Pacific Surfliner that comes through here, which is an amazing train, and it has a big road right across the platform, which is what I always remember about it. And the station isn't one of the classically beautiful ones, that's for sure. It's called the Oxnard Transit Center, and all the buses terminate here, and of course Greyhound and the Amtrak trains. The Oxnard Metrolink is located right at the Oxnard Transit Center as you would imagine. It's pretty generic but the Surfliner is an amazing train in general. There was a horrible Metrolink crash right here a long time ago, and it's a pretty hazardous crossing, not too much fun, but amazingly the crash didn't cause any fatalities. However, on another occasion, two people were killed when their vehicle was struck by a train.

But I gotta say it was not as bad as I thought it would be :) I picked up my tickets from Will Call which was fast and easy. This review is from my experience 1 year ago in 2024:…read moreIncredibly annoyed and very disappointed, to be completely honest. Pegasus was recommended to us by a local hotel (for wedding guest transport), and all of the Google reviews are glowing! However, right from the start, customer service seemed to be severely lacking. I requested a quote online on Monday (immediately received an automated email acknowledging my request and indicating that I would receive a response "very soon"). I waited until Wednesday - after not receiving any communication, I followed up via email (the email they have listed on their site). Waited until Friday. Still nothing. I called first thing in the morning on Friday, but apparently while their hours are 6am-5pm, their Sales Team does not start until 8am. No biggie. The lady on the phone took down my name and number and told me that someone would give me a call before 9am. (side note: I did not mention my 2 previous requests... simply approached it like a brand new inquiry) 11:30am rolled around - nothing. So I called again - this time I did mention that I had called in the morning and didn't receive a call back. I finally got through to someone on the Sales Team, and she gave me her email address (I believe this was her direct email address, as it is not the same as the one listed on their website) and told me what information she needs me to include in my email. I emailed her all of the information within minutes of hanging up the phone. I received a proposal about 3.5hrs later, reviewed it and found that it did not take into account the details I had provided. I replied to the quote within 20 minutes of receiving it, requesting a quote with the details I had already provided. Today is now Thursday of the following week, and I've not received any response or updated quote. I've decided to book with another transit provider. Update: it's now Tuesday of the next week and I've finally received an updated quote. 2025 Update: I received a phone call from Pegasus in the second week of March 2025 inquiring if I was still interested in their services. lol
