Been 5 times and Five stars are the RIBS!!! If you're looking for a steak maybe not top of the list but the ribs are the stuff! Sweet potato fries are good. Had the ribs all 5 times and they are consistently on point. I'm a steak guy, not big on ribs but this place changed my mind on ribs. I had a big birthday party a while back and we received steaks that were spoiled I think 5 of them were sent back. I haven't been in a while. I decided to take my coworker, and we ordered the Ribeye's and potato's the bill for 2 was $70.00. The food was so bad we took it home and ended up throwing it away. Ada has no amount of customer service. Both times it was like oh no refund no coupon or nothing but I will not ever eat there again. We're not from here and have never eaten here so it was a first experience. First the music was so loud I couldn't even hear our waitress talking, second the water tasted like literal unfiltered sink water, third we ordered our steak medium rare and for this being a steak house you think they could do that. My partners steak was so raw he had to send it back and when he got it back it wasn't cooked anymore at all!! I had to send my steak back and when I got it back it tasted inedible, straight up rotten, and left an awful taste in my mouth. My partners drink also never got refilled and he got a strawberry lemonade, I on the other hand couldn't even drink my water because it tasted like sewage. The T bone steak was mostly fat and gristle. The the filet side was nonexistent the loin side wasn't much better no Tee bone just a little piece of bone in the middle of the steak and when I say steak I use that term loosely. Went in with my family of 4 and 2 kids and told it was a 20-30 min wait. Ended up sitting on the patio waiting for over 40mins and walking out. Half the restaurant was empty and the "hosts" just sat and played on their phones. They would purposely avoid eye contact when we would stroll through. This places bread rolls are to die for!!!! I was out in ada for about 1.5 months while my husband was working out there. And I would go here just to get their bread as take out. They serve it with a cinnamon sugar butter and the bread is just so good!!! I wish I could have these rolls shipped to me in California haha I got the Cajun chicken pasta that was good. Great flavor, the Texas toothpicks are so good too. We kept wanting to try the southwest egg rolls but they were sold out every time we came in. The restaurant inside is decorated really cool! We were in Ada and wanted a special meal before dropping my son off at college. For the most part, the food was really good. My burger and onion rings were great, my son's club sandwich was great, and my other son enjoyed his steak and shrimp. Hubby said that his steak was ok, but he loved his salad and baked potato. The main flop was the rolls. They were slightly undercooked and literally had flopped; they looked deflated. They are served with a yummy cinnamon butter, so we ate them anyway. No need to waste. I live in this town and I haven't eaten here in years due to finding mouse droppings in a drink and my husband becoming incredibly ill after that prior visit. My daughter asked that we try it again, granted much time has passed since the first incident so I agreed. The atmosphere is great - lit just enough, spacious and the restaurant appeared clean. I ordered a steak and loaded baked potato. Our server was kind and pretty attentive. My food arrived and the baked potato tasted great, the steak however had a terrible smell. Almost like rotted meat. The smell was so terrible that I took one bite and couldn't force myself to eat it. Food: we ordered the ribeye with a side salad and sweet potato/coleslaw. Ribeyes were ordered medium rare and both were sent back due to one being raw and the other was well done. 2nd try was the same but opposite for each of us. 3rd attempt was one half well and half medium and the other was burnt well done and inedible. The salads were mini cobbs and good and the coleslaw was unseasoned and sweet. Little S&P was all it needed. We had to ask for a manager and she knew what happened before we said anything and had already adjusted the check. This is why I put 2 stars instead of 1. Really disappointed to order a steak in Oklahoma and not be able to eat it. Noise level was ok music was a little loud for table conversation but the wall art is pretty good. read more

My wife said she had a great lunch here a couple of weeks ago so we decided to try it for dinner last night. WHAT A TOTAL DISASTER IT WAS!!!! Dinner rolls came out raw, had to send them back Took forever to get our meal, but there were a couple of other tables that ordered before we did and did not get their meals until we were finished with ours. Saw several patrons get up to go get their waitress. Salad came out with the entree, not before. My wife's steak was ordered medium, it was too raw to eat and cold when we got it. My ribeye was extremely fatty, tough and undercooked as well. Waitress never came back to the table after dropping of our food to check in us, I'm not gonna mention her name because she seemed like she was trying, just had too many tables. I know it might be staffing issues, etc. But they should do themselves a favor and limit hours or shut down temporarily and regroup. Truly one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. For a steakhouse this was a miss. 19oz sirloin steak comes out, looking like a roast of some sort. Because it wasn't cut right they had no chance to cook it even. When I asked about it I was told they cut them in house and sometimes she cuts them weird like that. I think it is pretty clear they know when you're not from here and they treat you accordingly. The only other down side was that we ordered the most expensive steak and it was so bad they didn't even bring it out here to us. The chicken fried steak was tough. Water to drink and a top shelf margarita Meal 2: chicken fried steak, with cream gravy and salad. Again the chicken fried steak was tough. Sweet tea to drink Meal 3: fried shrimp with baked potato and salad. Requested bacon ranch for salad and received just ranch. The shrimp was very good. Water with lemon to drink. Meal 4: chilpolte shrimp po boy with fries. Shrimp was way too salty. Fries were good. Water with lemon to drink. Service was good and friendly but they appear to be a little short staffed. Will have to reconsider coming here again. We have eaten at this location many times. Giving 2 stars for the food. The service would be 4 stars. read more

On a business trip in Ada, I stopped in Santa Fe Cattle Co. for a late lunch and ordered off the early bird dinner special. I ordered Bubbas sirloin, with one side, I chose the house salad. My steak was perfectly grill medium rare - great hickory flavor - delicious! The House salad had, romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes chopped hard-boiled egg, croutons and I chose ranch dressing very-very good house salad. First time and was so disappointed! I ordered the ribs and chicken, the ribs were over cooked, dry and parts of them you couldn't even chew! The chicken breast was also dry and had a very strange look to it. I honestly think everything was cooked the day before. Charro beans and rice were not charro beans at all. They were also dry and tasted like ranch style beans, they were barely warm. My husband had the steak and his was cooked perfect and he liked it a lot! At least the rolls were good. It's a kids meal, yeah. When I was a kid, I already knew what good steak was so I would have sent this back even when I was 9. When working in a kitchen, I wouldn't have even put this on a plate. Absolutely disgusting. Staff are awful and unprofessional and had personal arguments in front of customers (apparently J hit on R's boyfriend and she's not having it). Food is terrible. Ceaser salad dressing tasted like it expired sometime last week. Ordered a steak that was 33% gristle and fat, I know that it's a risk you take with certain cuts of meat so I might have let that go if it was the only thing. The mushrooms and onions I asked with my steak were forgotten by the kitchen until I asked again as then came swimming in whatever water I presume they were canned in. I just wanted a decent evening out but I am dissatisfied disappointed and angry. I did tip 20% but only because the server was clearly doing his best in spite of being hamstrung by the rest of the staff and I didn't want to screw him over.
