Our first trip out in our new RV from Santa Fe RV
    Greg S.

Purchased a Braxton 27 foot Travel Trailer from Dan at Santa Fe RV. The sales was no pressure but Dan made sure we knew what we were looking at and all the options. I compared prices in Albuquerque, Arizona, Amarillo, and Colorado and Santa Fe RV gave me the best price and more importantly the best service. They made sure I understood how to use everything on the RV and made sure I had everything I needed to head out to the campsite the minute I drove it off the lot. A Few minor issues were taken care of immediately so I can honestly say they took care of me after the sale as well. You can not go wrong buying an RV from here. Thanks Dan And Santa Fe RV for a great buying experience.

I decided to RV full-time and wanted a self-contained teardrop camper. I found the model I was looking for on Santa Fe RV's website. I had several conversations and emails with Dan (since I lived out of state.) Dan was so helpful and patient with my many questions. When I got to Santa Fe to make my purchase everyone was so helpful. The unit was exactly as I expected. They gave me a full walk-through. They showed me how to operate every system. Everything was smooth and easy. It's been 5 months since my purchase and Dan and his team are always available to answer my questions that have come up since living and traveling in my camper. I am so happy I made my camper purchase at Santa Fe RV.

Our Bushwacker 17BH all hooked up and ready to go with help from Dan.

Dan made this a very personal experience and ensured we had everything we needed to get started with our first camper. Communication was great, pickup was a breeze, and the extras thrown in to make sure we were ready to go off the lot were phenomenal. Glad we shopped there!

at Sunnyville RV Resort in T or C, great to be able to travel to warmer weather, and with private hot springs tubs!

I can't say enough good things about this business. I bought a 2019, 24' Braxton Creek Trailer on my first visit. Dan, Jim and Terese were exceedingly patient and thorough in showing their many selections, and gave me a Great Price!! -- Exceptional Customer Service. I am recommending them to all my RV/camping friends.

Had my brand new toyhauler delivered here from Iowa Kenneth most of the way we came from Tucson to pick it up

The ladder was new in the box from the manufacturer, OWL. The company told us it's a 30 minute job to install the ladder, which is confirmed by YouTube videos on the installation process. We were given an appointment time to drop off the van "when the tech will be here" so that we could discuss the job with the technician. When we arrived, the technician was not there so there was no one to discuss the work with, the receptionist took the keys and we were not given any paperwork of any sort or any estimate. We received a call the following day saying the van was ready to be picked up. Imagine our surprise at being billed $450 for THREE HOURS of labor at $150 an hour. We paid $480 with tax. But the real kicker was that the door wouldn't shut because the ladder/ hinges were incorrectly installed. We had to return again a few hours later to pick it up after they figured out how to install it correctly. Another one hour round trip. I certainly don't mind paying for work, but we suspect we paid these people to figure out how to do a job that they should be completely capable of doing in 30 minutes. Maybe they should have watched a YouTube video first so they could have done it correctly. Needless to say we will be looking for a competent RV repair company to do the remainder of our work. To top it all off, they charged our card nearly $20 more than the total on the invoice, which is fraud. We are disputing this with the credit card company. We recommend staying away from this place.

They saw the passenger front tire had threads showing. So we had to spend 2 extra nights, Friday till Monday. Had to order the tires. De-winterize- couldn't figure out why no hot water. Again on a trip. Had to call them, they forgot to reopen the bypass valve on the water heater. Very unprofessional and they have high prices. Would not recommend them.

I watched a few more helpful repair videos from Coleman and when they showed which tools were necessary for the repair of this bed bow, I realized I had two problems - . I didn't have the budget for the tools necessary to make said repairs, the space, and the time. I consulted Yelp for RV repair. There were several factors that lead me to choose Robert Schmid at En Route RV repair 1. He is by far the cheapest mobile RV repair businesses 2. He answered me first 3. He answered all my questions. 4. He asked great questions 5. He was receptive to me sending him the Coleman videos for reference 6. The other businesses I reached out to, were unavailable and referred me elsewhere or got back to me a few days later 7. I set up an appointment on a Saturday for Robert to come out to me on Monday (he does offer weekend repair, but it's more expensive and with my situation, I could wait) Monday came around and Robert showed up exactly when he said he would. He was accompanied by his daughter/assistant, Baylee, who was super helpful and a great conversationalist. Robert and I talked about the exact problem, he had the correct tools to get the job done, and he used the repair part I purchased from Coleman. Robert also let me observe his process (fixing things always interests me) and I learned a few things about my pop up in the process. Robert also made sure the functioning of the bed bow was correct after he made the repair. Because his price includes an hour of work, and the fix he did for me, was less than 60 minutes, he also talked to me about a few other details re: other repairs and maintenance about my pop-up that I was concerned about. Now, I have a plan of action for the other bits and pieces I need to manage re: using my pop-up. After Robert's visit/repair/consultation, I feel more confident about taking care of my pop-up in general and I was super satisfied with the repair that Robert made by the time he finished. His work is careful, attentive and smart. Robert also informed me that if I am out of town and run into trouble with my pop-up, he will travel. It may cost more due to distance, but sometimes that doesn't matter if you really need help. I highly recommend En Route RV Repair. The value is there, the workmanship is there and the punctuality is there, too. Robert has a history of working at local RV maintenance/repair businesses in Albuquerque and when he started his own business, he took the initiative to get further training. That experience and training was evident in my experience working with Robert

Dave was quite friendly and seemed easygoing about the rear brake job (BOTH wheels) I'd asked him to do, and which he promised to do. I even waited for Dave to come back from his travels to work on my vehicle (22' van). Dave called me to say "it's all done & ready to be picked up." On my way inside to pay my bill, by chance, I just happened to peek inside my vehicle to grab something. What I found on the passenger side floor was a set of brand new pads & parts for one wheel, still in the box. Inside the shop, I was casually handed a complete bill for the original TWO-wheel brake job. When I asked about the new pads still in my vehicle, the kind lady at the front desk hadn't a clue about it. So she asked Dave. **And this is where things get inexplicably bizarre: Dave loses his temper, and tells me "I don't wanna do the other wheel! I'm not doin' it! The first one was too hard, it's hot outside, it rained....I'm not doin it! I don't wanna see that van here ever again." (As if I'd done something wrong?!?) Having discovered his incomplete work, ONLY THEN does Dave instruct his assistant to discount the labor portion of my bill (but not the parts he marked up many times over). I was shocked by the sudden, bizarre change in personality. His assistant apologized to me several times, and also let me know that Dave had errantly cut my brake pad wear sensor. As such, I had a dash warning light on for two weeks before I could purchase and install a new one myself (after watching a YouTube video). What's further alarming is that the lug bolts Dave had replaced were barely more than finger-tightened (despite having previously let him know the correct torque value for my wheels' lug bolts). I still need to find someone else to finish the job that Dave flat out refused to finish. I really, REALLY wanted to have a local, trustworthy mechanic here in Eldorado. But my family will most definitely not be returning here with any of our vehicles, for obvious trust and safety reasons. I recommend folks seek another mechanic.
