Beautiful, gated RV resort overlooking Santa Fe with spacious, fairly-level drive-throughs, concrete patio areas next to each pad, and full hook-ups. We stayed there 4 nights with perfect weather; easy to get around downtown. A bonus were the gorgeous sunsets from the hilltop overlooking Santa Fe. There were helpful attendants; very clean bathrooms, & multiple separate shower stalls. Also a nice laundry room. We will most definitely stay there if we ever go back through Santa Fe. read more

This is the worst RV repair shop I have ever dealt with. I dropped off my RV in early October and they called me the week before Thanksgiving to tell me there was a bad smell inside so they didn't do any of the work I requested. It took them 6 weeks to tell me that! Then when I got down there, they told me they lost all their technicians and couldn't do the work. Nothing about the smell. Liars! Of course, winterizing was supposed to be done. Did they do that? No! Now I am having to get the winterizing done someplace else. If there is any damage, I will be suing them in small claims court. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! They are lying idiots! read more

As a native and born Santa Fean, I've never been so humiliated in my life. I went there to hopefully give this business a simple repair job to install an underbelly tarp due to the original tarp that had previously torn on my camper. It took him a while to come talk to me, and when he did, I raised my arm out to shake his hand and introduced myself. He gave me a dirty look and said, "I don't shake hands!" I had no idea how to respond to that because that had never happened to me before in my life. I was in a sort of shock. Long story short, the manager just didn't want to deal with me and he let me know it. I'm sorry that I wasn't the right type or color customer that he usually services, but I was in no way disrespectful towards him. And if he thinks I was, all I can say to him is that I'm so sorry, but I know I was as nice to him as possible. read more

I took my RV to Santa Fe RV in October and they kept it until Thanksgiving and then said they couldn't fix it. Fortunately for me, I took my RV to Hal Burns the very next day. They fixed everything and more! The day I picked it up, Paco the manager walked me through each item they fixed. When the camper exterior lights didn't work, they fixed my truck fuse and got everything working. I am now in sunny California for my winter trip. I went in to buy a pigtail for my propane tank. They gave me one that was too small but told me it was a newer version that requires an adapter, so I bought that too. I told the that the adapter was flared and it wouldn't fit my insert, but they insisted that it would. Turned out I was right. One of the guys came into to show me that it fit but inserts it forcibly and I had to use a lot of wd-40 to get it off. Really pushy experience and not willing to listen to my needs as a customer. read more

Our RV towing system wasn't working & we were 700 miles from home - just passing through New Mexico on our way East. We called 6 places in Santa Fe & Albuquerque-no one would make us an appointment to even look at our problem for a month or more. Santa Fe RV told us to come in immediately. Once we were there, the office indicated they only worked on trailer towing, not Motor homes towing an auto. As we were calling around other places & trying to figure out next steps, the owner & a technician came over & asked what the issue was. They got a testing unit out & immediately began to diagnose the problem even though we didn't have a trailer. They determined we had a blown fuse, tested all the fuses, and replaced the non working fuse. In 30 minutes, we were back on the road to enjoy the rest our 5,300 mile trip. We are so appreciative that this company cared enough about our emergency to help even though they were so busy & they didn't typically work on our type of RV. We highly recommend!!!! read more

Rude and bad customer service. We called ahead of time and said we were on our way but would arrive close to closing due to traffic and they said it was fine. We arrived at 4:55 and they were already locking the door and closing and wouldn't sell us the part. Really nice place to park bathrooms are clean showers or clean these are all important factors when you stop somewhere. The sites are little Oddball in consistencies whether you get 2-person bistro table or a picnic table so that was kind of annoying. read more

The 24 hour hotline at Road BearRv, from we had rented, suggested we find a local repair place. When we arrived, Dan told us the service department was closed on Saturday. But when we explained our situation, he calmly said: "Well, then, we're going to fix it". And fix it he did - at no cost. Now that's the way to run a business. The folks at Santa Fe RV are incredibly rude, and don't understand positive customer service. They are the only authorized dealer for Braxton Creek in NM. I needed some parts for my BushWhacker Plus rv, which the manufacturer (Braxton Creek) said I needed to order through the dealer. Santa Fe RV would not order the parts for me unless I left them my RV, even though I could install the parts needed myself. Additionally, they would not schedule an appointment for my RV, rather said it would sit on their lot for a month before being able to get it in. So they are making it impossible for me to get the necessary parts from the manufacturer, and impossible to deal with for service. HORRIBLE business ethics - definitely not aligned with the ethics of Braxton Creek. read more

I DO NOT recommend going to this rv place at all! We took in our coachman to have a new tv installed, brackets to keep the wardrobe doors and shower door closed while it is in motion. The brackets were a bit worn out. Two awnings fixed and to winterize it. That's it! The one mistake we made is not wintering our coach. They told us the water pump for the coach had frozen. It was quite expensive, but I kinda understand that part. The reason for the one star is we were absolutely taken advantage of. The brackets I'm talking about cost us $300 for the wardrobe and almost $200 for a shower bracket. They used the existing holes. So it should have been easy peesy. They charged us an hour of labor! Seriously?!!! An hour? What they did to the instal of the tv is horrible! They butchered the wall in the coach. We now have a piece of wood w the metal right above the tv. It's just ugly! We asked them to make sure the cable worked. Well it doesn't. We took it out and nope the cable for the park did not work. They had it for a month and did not let us know what "extra" they were doing. They call us a month later to tell us it was ready and I was shocked at the $1800+ bill we got. We paid and they basically show us on a lot camera where it was at and that was it. No "let me show you what we did". They also left us the tv box (which is fine with us) but then found trash inside the box. Just unacceptable to us. My husband called to talk to them about our bill and no phone call back from them. Stay away if you ask me!! Drive to Albuquerque if you want reasonable pricing and a place where they know how to work on coaches! Oh and we find out later that they didn't even hook up the water pump and just blew air through the lines. We found a better place to take it to thankfully!! Ended up buying a new rv because we were just extremely irritated by their work!! read more

I brought in my truck camper with several small items that all needed to be attended to. Little things like my running lights weren't working and my water pump was cavitating. They treated my great little camper just like $100,000 motorhome. The service was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. They were very friendly and most especially, did not treat me like a girl who did not know what she was doing with Her rig. I appreciate that that most of all. My generator was running rough. The guy who checked it out for me used to be a race care mechanic and really knew his stuff. He checked out the generator, the carburetor. He could tell the quality of gas by its smell. Said that I had gotten some "bad" gas, He explained to me what he was doing, made recommendations for how I could prevent this in the future. And, since they did no repairs, there was no charge!!! I'm one happy camper!! :-) I enjoyed dealing with these folks and would recommend them to anyone. read more
