This bar is a great dive. Their drink prices are the best in town and they even have a pool table. In regards to the food it is only available during peak hours, but it's also really reasonably priced. The only, and I mean only downside, is the fact that if no one has paid for music then the bar goes from loud and poppin' to dead and dumbed down in a matter of seconds. It can really kill a good vibe but other than that this bar doesn't disappoint.

Great place to feel at home Cold beer, great bar tenders, and near downtown. Come play some pool, order some tasty food, and enjoy throughout the day.

Sooo I came back finally during the day and the scene was entirely different. Very quiet, the patrons were nice, and the bar was clean. I ordered the bloody Mary, and it was delicious. The only problem I have is that they only except cash, but atleast they have an atm just in case. The outside of the bar is very clean, and the parking is good too. The cook is awesome and im not trying to be bias because I do know her, but I know she cooks very good on a personal level:)I'm definitely coming back to have another day time drink!

My fav bar in Visalia. Good happy hour and like the whole set up. Plus, they have decent music in the jukebox, some alternative(which I like) Not all country

Full bar and beer. Dive in and enjoy.

It's a small brown building with a small parking lot next to it. It's nice though that its open at 0630 so that the nightshift hospital staff can come here and decompress or send me off on my last day. First thing you notice about this place is the smell of urine from the bathrooms. You get use to it after a bit. As well as the "regulars" hanging out at the bar area. It's extremely small. Area for a pool table, some tables at the far end by the bathrooms, and a long bar counter. At least the tvs are nice and clear and big to watch games or sports as need be. There was a good 18 of us here. Prices are rediculously cheap. I'm glad they understand it's a dive bar and should thus be dive bar prices. A michelada was $4. A mimosa was $5. Bag of chips was $1. They have these sour candy shots for $4. The sour candy shots were really good. Michelada was simple. Bloody Mary mix with beer. But they were well made. I also had a crown royal apple with redbull that was really good. I don't remember how many drinks we went thru but it did the job and we were all feeling good. Customer service is good. Dude working behind the bar worked fast. I hear this place is pretty good when the sun is up, but has a pretty rough reputation at night with lots of shady people coming in at night. I definitely wouldn't come in here by my self even in the day time. But with a large group it's pretty cool. Nice and cheap. If you don't mind the urine smell and dilapidated look.

I've been in several times now and always find it to be a welcoming environment. It's a small town and there are a lot of regulars, so it already feels like the old TV show where "everyone knows your name." there's a big stage right near the front entrance and a quality band plays rock and country covers, along with some originals and the occasional vocal cameo from Jeff himself. Everyone on that stage has some immense talent. Even better, there is rarely a song that goes by that doesn't bring everyone to the dance floor. My choice is bellying up at the bar for a stiff drink at a reasonable price. Put it all together and you have a top choice for any weekend night.

Could have been a reasonable interaction but the bartender, who we found out is the owner, came up to us said you can't bring a drink in here at all and hit the table with his fists. But did not go up to the others who had energy drinks, which weren't sold there... Another man got yelled out by the owner also for singing over him. Overall was a hostile and aggressive approach very unnecessary. Then he sat outside to smoke and talk to the other patrons about what happened lmao Definitely just a dive bar, I would not come back.

I ordered salmon, which was a very large piece of salmon and it looked delightful, but no flavor at all. It was overcooked so it was a bit dry and I could tell without even asking that this was farm raised pre-frozen salmon. This was not a $30 slice of salmon. It was served on a bed of lettuce.. the lettuce was crisp and fresh and there was an egg included, which was a bit chewy for a hard boiled egg so it was overcooked as well. There were several large slices of tomatoes, which were just too big and probably should've been diced up and served appropriately. There was also some large slices of cucumber and a big slice of onion. There was one little bread stick. It just did not and was not suitable for a restaurant of this caliber/price range. i'd have to say I was very disappointed. The value of the food did not match the price tag. Conclusively very disappointed of this $40 salad.

The roasted chicken was incredibly moist and complemented well by the sautéed spinach and shiitake mushrooms. The sunset view made the evening even better. We were so full we had to skip the celebration dessert, which says a lot because we definitely would have ordered one otherwise! We got the spicy shrimp appetizer,12 oz New York strip, the lobster with mash potato's and Mac and cheese. Food was okay, price tag was steep for the quality. Especially considering, the "from the grill" section did not come with a side had to be ordered separate and food came out lukewarm but flavor was good (except the mash potato's they were bland). Drinks were good. Additional note: having bathroom lights that are on sensors, don't work well for people in stalls. Having to sit in a dark restroom while using the facilities is not an enjoyable experience. Two stars because the overall vibe is decent and drinks are good. Food is just ok for a luxury price and staff is not set up for success.
