I just ended up paying in the end, wasn't worth the back and forth headache. To top it off, the crown fell off twice in a year and I'm worse off than before I went to this sub par establishment. Staff was really nice though but end results were very disappointing to say the least.

The letter was disrespectful, condescending, and implied that I was given "excellent care and greeted warmly" and that my lack of response was DEEPLY CONCERNING. My experience was not positive, it was far from my experience - hence why I stopped going. Mind you, this is the first letter I got saying owed a balance. Meanwhile, between my last appointment in 2022, I've received called trying to get me to schedule appointments for cleanings yet never called about a balance due. The reasons I didn't go back: Ceiling tiles with water stains, run down office, and incompetent staff. I found a much better dentist to go to and not once have I had my billing errors or bad experiences. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST.

Was so satisfied with this doctor that it was never an inconvenience to drive from Oxnard to Santa Paula. During covid I had to cancel 2 appts with the hygienist. Once I had covid and the other time I was just sick. Called both times to cancel. Last month I decided to get back on track with caring for my teeth. I called on 7/1, no answer so I left a message. Called back at the end of the day on 7/2, no answer again. This time my message included if I was still a patient of Dr Stewart. I needed to know one way or another. Never received a call back. Fortunately I found a local dentist, family owned and operated much like Dr Stewart's operation. I don't understand why someone couldn't call me back. Very unprofessional.

My first time in Dr. Stewarts office was when I was 3 years old. Throughout my life I've had a few…read moredifferent jobs and not all of them provided dental insurance that was covered by Dr. Stewarts practice and I had to goto other dentists for years at a time and in those periods (over 7 years) I ended up at 3 different dentists. I have found through my experiences at other dentists and conversations with friends and family that most dentists cut corners and try to extrude as much services from you/your insurance as possible by saying you need extra services such as "deep cleanings". At Doctor Stewarts office you will meet some of the best most professional dental hygienists that will clean your teeth and treat you like family. Most dental offices do not have dental hygienists clean your teeth, instead they have dental assistants clean your teeth (likely because they get paid less) and then they charge you for a hygienist to perform a deep cleaning. Having a hygienist clean your teeth will allow the use of better dental tools by this trained professional, the dental assistant is now allowed to use these tools and the practice will charge you extra to perform these procedures because they will usually only have one hygienist available to perform these cleanings. I've never had a bad experience at Doctor Stewarts office and it is like family when you have been going there a few years. I had to pay extra for PPO insurance with my work just to be sure I can keep going to Doctor Stewart but he is well worth it. My biggest fear is when he decides to retire. The only downside of his office is that it's very small and some mistakes are made with paperwork but they're very easy to deal with and resolve issues. If you're lucky enough to be a patient of Doctor Stewart you will realize other dentists are not honest and always seem to have extra services for you to pay for. Goto Doctor Stewart and notice how seasoned their staff is compared to other offices who choose to hire young staff with no experience.

The front desk was pleasant, the xray girl was super sweet (Sony?), and the Doc talked me thru a whole lot of what was going on with my tooth, and also about my teeth health since I'm in combat sports. Her suggestion of a crown didnt really surprise me, but she also caught that I had an uncrowded root canal. A finace guy came in, showed me the list of suggestions, and said I can apply for no interest financing (thank god! Stupid me thought insurance would cover it all ). He explained it all, I signed off and the work to crown my tooth began The doc was informative, nice, light handed and very cautious. They had a lot of up to date technologies my older dds didnt have. The environment was carying and pleasnt. Only reason this isnt 5 is because I felt the prices might have been a little high? But when I look it up it's near mid-lower of the price spectrum. So I might just be salty I gotta pay for all that

Zero stars. Extremely disappointing experience with Solar Endodontics. They advertise "24-hour…read moreemergency treatment" and allow online emergency appointment booking, yet the service did not match what they promote at all. I scheduled an emergency appointment online for 5:30 PM because I am dealing with a painful oral infection with visible facial swelling. This was explained at the time of the appointment. Shortly after, I received a message saying I had no appointment scheduled. I booked it again and called to confirm, only to be told they stop seeing patients at 5:00 PM. So why offer a 5:30 PM appointment online? What made the experience worse was not only the scheduling confusion, but the coldness and lack of empathy throughout the interaction. I was calling with an active infection, swelling, and pain, yet the conversation felt transactional from the beginning. There was little concern for the urgency of the situation and far more focus on insurance and payment than on patient care. I was then told I could come in tomorrow, but only for a consultation because they are "fully booked" for treatment on Saturday. Actual treatment would not happen until Monday. Do not market your office as "24-hour emergency treatment" if patients with active infections, visible swelling, and severe pain are ultimately being delayed for days. Dental infections are not minor inconveniences. Delayed treatment can allow an infection to spread beyond the tooth into something far more serious medically. The customer service was poor, the communication was contradictory, and the overall experience showed a concerning lack of urgency, empathy, and professionalism toward someone seeking emergency care. Cero estrellas.
