Lol all the reviews here about the rude girl working the cashier in front is a bit relatable. Well she wasn't rude to me but she was just short and looked like she had a stank attitude and hated her job but that could just be her face. She took my order and was straight to the point; no frills or thrills so no complaints on my part. It's convenient that they're open 24/7 but since there are in a shared plaza in the middle, there's no drive thru making you have to go inside. I like how there was an open salsa bar with different options of hot sauces ranging from mild to spicy. They even have hot carrots, jalapeños, and radishes out for free which is a winner to me! They do have a sign limiting you to 3 sauces per person and that they have cameras watching lol. The service was super quick I was still getting my hot sauces when the food was already done to my surprise. As for the food itself ehh it was okay. Their cheese quesadilla was a little on the burnt side. Their rolled tacos and asada nachos came with everything which included guac, pico, sour cream, lettuce so that was a plus for me not to order any extras since some just come with the basic cheese. Got four beef rolled tacos that were fresh and delicious here, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is typical of a Mexican restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but the food lives up to the tradition, food came out in less than ten minutes and my sever was kind enough to escort me to the bathroom. We decided to come in this morning around 10am for their special Friday deal which is 8 beef rolled tacos for $10. We are regular customers so this is a deal we have come in for before, but this time I wanted to inquire about if I could have some of them with chicken instead. The cashier was already very hostille and rude off the bat. Instead of letting me know that the special had to be all beef, she looks at my friend and I and says "No, thats why its the special" in an extremely condescending tone. You would think if a place wanted to promote some kind of special, they would be nice to the customers asking about it. Secondly, my friend and I had walked to the establishment so I asked for my guac on the side. Hesitant to do so, for some unknown reason, the cashier added that onto the tab and we finished checking out. I had also inquired about adding an extra 4 rolled tacos on.. she then told me it was $8??!?! Ill be entirely honest and say I dont believe thats how much it really was because I come here often for the same thing. She genuinely was just trying to get me to order less food. Ontop of the rude attitude, sub par preheated food, and overall bad experience, the workers there don't seem to want to be in the building. They immediately scurried off to the back to snicker about our interaction as we just waited patiently for our food and grabbed salsa. The rolled tacos came out and I double checked our bag and my "guac on the side" she had given me was a 1oz cup for 8 rolled tacos. Are we joking? Then I had to pay extra if I wanted more? As soon as I got home and got ready to eat, I opened up the rolled taco container and there was HAIR IN MY FOOD! Oh my god above all else now I found beard or PUBE hair in my rolled tacos. Immediately gave them a call and the same womans response was "Hair???" "Thats weird" "I watched him cook" then told us we had opened it before we left almost as if we had no right to complain about literal hair in our food. This wasn't something I could quickly plant it was stuck into the cheese. There was no apology or anything, didnt even offer us a refund on the food we now can't eat because someones hair folicles were in it. I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at this Santana's location. The worker who helped me was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I explained that I've never been charged for extra beans when I leave off pico and sour cream, yet she insisted I still had to pay and argued with me instead of simply handling it. To make it worse, she began speaking to me in Spanish after I clearly told her I don't speak Spanish, and she continued doing it in a condescending way. Completely ignorant, disrespectful, and uncalled for. If this is how they treat their customers, I'll take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other Mexican food spots that value their customers and don't argue with them at the counter. I mentioned it and they said the price is the price - there was a sign on the counter saying that posted prices might not be accurate. I picked it up and it was a chicken burrito. I politely mentioned it, and they said that this is what their burrito salad is. The menu described it as a salad with lettuce, veggies, cheese, etc. What they gave me was a burrito with just chicken and guac - no lettuce or anything. There was a big sign on the wall saying no refunds, and my friend had brought me so I didn't want to argue. Awful place. The cashiers are beyond rude. I have been trying to get my money or an exchange from an order for a few days. The manager tells me to call her in the morning. I keep missing her for a couple of days. I call again today and she said the manager left. It's 10 am. She said she gets off at 7am. She really expected me to call her before she left at 7. When I asked the cashier if it would be better to call at night to reach her and she hung up on me. I have never dealt with such disrespectful people. The stars completely reflect their service. Horrible customer service. I spoke English and Spanish and the cashier, MMORALES, as it reads on the receipt did not say one word to me. I asked her if she spoke English and she nodded her head. I got a half order carne asada fries with the beans on the side. I usual get the pico on the side but I forgot to say so. Overall it delicious. I usually don't like refried beans but these were pretty good especially with the salsa verde.
