The nursery is beautiful, with a wide variety of Talavera pots, fountains, statutes, and beautiful plants. Everything is thoughtfully organized, making it easy to browse and find exactly what you are looking for. One of our favorite parts of the visit was their variety of Talavera pots. They add such a beautiful artistic touch and really complement any yard perfectly. What really made my visit stand out, though, was Yollie's help. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to answer all our questions, offered help, and made sure we left feeling confident about our purchase. Her friendly and approachable attitude made the whole experience enjoyable. If you are looking for quality plants, stunning Talavera pottery, and exceptional customer service, Casa Planta Nursery is it.

But their plants and flowers are all beautifully displayed and in a healthy state. Every once in a while they gave massive sales but for only a select few plants. I just love walking around and enjoying the lovely plantings. It feels like a free tour. But I do buy a few beauties every time I go. Definitely worth a visit. Oh! I can't forget to acknowledge the workers. All so knowledgeable and friendly.

Beyond the…read morestunning botanical gardens and incredible wildlife, what truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to the 3Rs: Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release. The care and compassion shown to the animals is evident throughout the entire property. Many of the animals at Flamingo Gardens have been rescued and given a second chance, with the ultimate goal of rehabilitating and releasing them back into their natural habitats whenever possible. Their dedication to wildlife conservation and education is inspiring and makes every visit feel purposeful. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and passionate, and the experience is both enjoyable and educational for visitors of all ages. It's wonderful to see an organization so committed to protecting Florida's native wildlife while creating an engaging experience for the community. Flamingo Gardens is much more than a botanical garden--it's a sanctuary, a conservation center, and a shining example of what can be accomplished through Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release. I highly recommend supporting this incredible organization and experiencing it for yourself.

This is a great nature and animal attraction. Not a zoo but a non profit rescue and rehabilitation…read more(and when possible, release) facility that is constantly evolving in its exhibits. The size is manageable for walking and the circulating tram provides a nice quick overview (and a bit of a rest). The paths are mostly shaded. The staff are truly dedicated to their mission. The wildlife encounters are informative and fun. The sculptures throughout are whimsically realistic. Everyone (except the cashier at the snack stand near the flamingos) was friendly and helpful. Free roaming peacocks and other critters make walking around even more fun. Give yourself at least 3 hours so you can see everything and time the educational presentations without being rushed. Things do run on schedule. It was not overly crowded at 2p on a weekday. Every fee was reasonable and we happily added a bit more to the donation boxes. A lot goes on behind the scenes in the care and feeding of the animals. They should somehow let the public see some of that-- I'm sure that would compel more donations!! Highly recommended and we'll return when next in the area.

It's clearly geared toward kids, but we still had a good time as adults. We were able to pet the goats and sheep and talk with one of the staff members, who was friendly, patient, and happy to answer our questions. It made the visit feel welcoming rather than just a quick walk-through. There are a few growing pains, it seems. Some areas could use clearer signage, and the place felt a bit understaffed at times but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit. Adults will enjoy it, and kids will almost certainly love it.

Riders can enjoy unlimited paddling trips and it's a nice way to appreciate nature, surrounded by colorfully green waters and palm trees. Next area of the farm to check out is the Petting Zoo. Quickly grab the attentions of goats and sheep by purchasing a small bucket of hay for $5. The animals are not shy and they have endless appetites. Pinto's Farm also has a race track, pony and tractor rides. The Brewery House offers food and refreshments and Pinto's Ice Cream Truck sells handcrafted milkshakes. General admission is $20 per person on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Overall, Pinto's Farm is a pleasant way to spend a few quality hours within the suburban community of Miami, FL.

I enjoyed an outing with my cousins here and treated myself to a dozen rolls and a vanilla shake. There's space to just hang out, enjoy some other sweet treats available by a food truck, and sit down on benches. Leashed doggies we're here to accompany and made some friends along the way. The menu has stayed the same with pies, rolls, and breads. Not all veggies are available they use to have but still the mos5 "popular" veggies remain. They still seperate the baked items from the shakes and drinks. I came on a weekend and there was practically no line which was unusual for me but appreciated. The smells, tasted, and feels are still the same. I'm glad someone took over but kept the tradition.

While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. Again, solid option but I had heard so much about this place and just don't quite understand the viral nature of this place. But overall a good thing to do to spend an open late afternoon
