In fact, I called him and the toilet was replaced within days. He didn't jump the price of the new toilet and took the old one for me as well. I won't say how much I paid because I think it was such a deal, I don't know if he was giving me a deal because he did my Aunts place and I'd hate someone else making him do another toilet for that good a price. It's not worth writing the entire back and forth on this, but essentially; it was a WEEK of responded to texts and voicemails - in today's world you can't take 2 days to get back to someone - our rescheduled time (worst case scenario) was for the following Friday and on Thursday he texted that he might not be able to make it the next day due to the job/inspector/blah blah blah.
