Absolutely the worst company to work with. Our escrow was to be a 30 day escrow and it took them close to 75 days to get it closed. Daisy claimed to not have received my documents for more than two weeks right off the bat. I had to stay on the phone with her and then she said oh, now I see them. There was no sense of urgency what so ever and honestly if you can use anyone else please do so you don't get screwed. Even after loan docs were signed it took 10 days for the lender to fund the loan. After it was all said and done, it cost us an obscene amount of money due to the time it took them to do their job. When I complained about having to get the same document done three different times because Daisy didn't ask for the proper wording the first two times, I was told not to speak to her that way instead of apologizing for her ineptitude. Not only did they not perform in the proper timeframes, she had no customer service skills. My advice, FIND ANY WHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR LOAN DONE AS THEY ARE HORRIBLE. read more

AVOID at all costs, RUN AWAY!- This company illegally pulled my credit. After coming up with a game plan and explicitly asking them not to pull my credit until I say and they turn around and do it anyway. Called to talk to the manager about it and she never returned my call. I Reported the situation to the Business Consumer Alliance and they won't even reply to them - They refuse to reply to anyone. They literally couldn't care less about the customer and what they want - THEN come to find out the "loan officer" was going to give me a "hard loan" that had a large interest rate - The lending office I ended up going with offered me a rate at 3 percent less than what these clowns said - The "loan officer" wasn't even going to give me the proper loan! So it all worked out I guess except now I have a pointless inquiry on my report - Stay away at all costs - They have no clue what they are doing and lack respect and integrity for you the customer. All these good reviews, make you wonder what they were able to get past all these decent people looking for a loan?! Absolute trash, stay away. Zero stars. read more

Let me save anyone reading this some time: RUN AWAY from this company at all costs. I had the worst experience with this company. My fiance and I were trying to buy a mobile home. We both have excellent credit. These stupid people only sent our application to one crappy lender: 21st Mortgage. I called around and found that they are THE worst lender out there. They refused to send our application to Triad or any other lender because we didnt have "installment history". We went elsewhere and were accepted by Triad. The other broker was able to get us all set up AND they arent going to charge us a $5,000 broker fee. Why pay $5,000 for them to do basically nothing and not fight for their clients and be perpetually uncontactable all day. The second time they gave me another loan detail they got the address of the property we were going to purchase wrong. Their loan details are also very very vague. They basically do not break down any of the very many costs associated with purchasing a mobile home. The people working on the loan were Cindi Lilly and Diane. You both suck ass. Save yourself some time and headaches and go with another broker because Santiago Financial couldnt give 2 shits about your potential business. In the end it doesnt matter because by not working with them we are saving $5,000 in broker fees with a broker that isnt charging us a broker fee. Suck it, Santiago Financial. :) read more

Avoid using this company at all costs. They will make it sound like they are one of the only lenders for manufactured homes, which couldn't be further from the truth. Every single person working for this company is so far beyond incompetent, its mind boggling. I can't imagine being this bad at your job and still having a job. They nearly cost us the purchase of our home due to their negligence and incompetence. Specifically, Cindi Lilly and Sara Laun. They made the entire loan process as difficult and painful as possible, over the course of 7 weeks, for what should have been a 30-day escrow. Costing us thousands of dollars and a month of our time and 3 extensions on our escrow. We wound up going a different route, finalizing escrow in ONE day and paying just over a quarter of their lending rate. I guess it all worked out really well for us in the long run, since they didn't get a dollar of our money. After jerking us around for 6 weeks, wasting theirs, the lenders, the sellers and ours time. But this is your word of warning. Use ANYONE else. read more

I am a realtor and actually do not find it necessary to post reviews but the experience that my buyers had in choosing Santiago Financial and their loan officer was Shannon LeVay was by far the WORST service and overall experience that I have seen in my 60 years. It took her over 2 months to close and I could see the emails coming through and the buyer providing and responding to her. Then she went missing in action for a week and a half! Gave no updates to me as is standard is a real estate transaction. Does not answer calls, no response from emails. Asked the buyer for the same documentation over and over again. The lack of her service resulted in the elderly buyers having no place to live. The nightmare of a lifetime, no doubt. read more
