After walking around the mall and working up an appetite, my friend and I decided to check out this Santora's location. It's on the pricier side, and the menu does note that prices may differ from other locations--which was a bit odd but fine. That said, the food was really good. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with plain fries as my side, and my friend got the sesame chicken salad. Everything came out fairly quickly and at a good temperature. We were seated right away, though we noticed a line had formed by the time we left. The atmosphere is a little dark, but it's a sports bar/restaurant, so that's to be expected. The highlight, though, was the service--our waitress was fantastic. The whole staff was great, but she was especially on top of everything and incredibly kind. Because of the price increase, I'd probably opt for a different location if given the choice. But if I'm at the mall and need a solid pub food option, this spot will do. read more

Average at best. Walking into Santoras at the galleria took me back to when Gordon Biersch was there. Literally looks like they changed nothing in terms of decor,photos, door handles, beer taps, stickers on the restroom doors. They changed nothing but the signs on the building. We sat in our booth that was striped with a piece of Duct tape and placed our order. Food came rather quickly as the place wasn't too busy at all. The cheese pizza, give it a look... there's barely cheese on it, lots of open bare sauce. The wings, there's a fine line between crispy and fried too long and they definitely found the dry side. The garlic parm wings had what looked to be a shake of Parmesan and that was about it, dry, not hardly Sauced. The bbq on the other hand, plenty of sauce. The bleu cheese was "average " at best. No chunks. Fries were crispy, Macaroni and cheese. I've never seen such large noodles used but this might have been the most flavorful thing we got. We had an online order on Father's Day. The bartender/ server said that she was the only one there as they sent everyone home. She was running around like crazy. People ahead of me that were waiting to get seated were irritated. The person who got done eating passed by me and said she was only one working. The manager after a bit of a wait apologized for the wait and got the food. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap that I ordered didn't look like what I ordered a few weeks ago that was delicious. The wrap was held together by a tooth pick. My wife's Barbecue Chicken Ranch pizza came with no barbecue sauce like it did last time. Please consider your customers before slashing payroll and pay attention to what you present to your customers when you plate the food. Overall disappointed but we will try again because food is usually excellent. read more

We have been to other locations but wanted to try this one. If you are a beer lover, you will want to come here. I am more of a wine lover but I love the italian food. I had the anitpasta - The meat was so fresh and good. It tasted like it was made in house. It was so good. We also ate chicken quesdilla and flat bread pizza. We did order a lot and shared and also brought home food and was able to take it for lunch 2 days in a row. I have to commend the waitress...it was presidents day lunch time, busy and she was the only one waiting on tables. I feel bad for the staff. Extremely under staffed, which made for a slow and disconnected experience. Sat at the bar. The bartender was also waiting all the tables in the bar area, I believe there were 4-5 full at all times while we were there. She was also the busboy clearing all the tables. She was also the hostess. There was one other waiter working the rest of the restaurant and a cook. ... that was it. The food is decent enough. We shated a chicken pesto pizza. Crust was tasty. Santora's at the Galleria Mall is a decent place to go for a drink and a bite while shopping at the mall or an after work central location to meet for a drink and bite. I'm not sure what's going on lately here, but the service seems to be lacking due to staff shortages. I've also come to know that there's no happy hour here anymore. This place could be booming if they did it right and revamp, redo and brush up on a few things. First off, BRING BACK HAPPY HOUR or at least some kind of drink and food specials. The food is decent. I'd suggest getting the pizza or something similar and bar food-ish. The last time I went and ordered the burger and it was disappointing and over done. I wouldn't get that again. It was nice of the male bartender to sub a side with a side salad. The one female bartender with the dark brown/black hair who I didn't see this last time is amazing at making drinks making them perfect and fills them up to the rim as they should be! Dined here for lunch last well, overall a a fine experience- we had good food and did not have any complaints. This is a large space and was well decorated, while not quite busy at lunch I can imagine on a weekend or during the busy holidays this place would be jam packed and quite loud. While ordering the common discussion at our table was the prices on the menu, everything seemed to be 10-15% than we would have expected. Once we ordered and the food came it was apparent the portion sizes were XL and helped to justify the cost. Off the bat though seeing nearly $18-20 for a burger, chicken wrap for $17, and garlic knots for $8.50 was steep. Overall the food was tasty, and made with quality ingredients- none of us found the flavors lacking, and it was all fresh made to order. Our waitress was pleasant and checked in on us; my only "complaint" if there had to be one was that when she did come to the table she smelled like cigarettes. Came with friends for a casual dinner. The bill was incredibly high but I suppose that seems to be the case everywhere you go these days. We had stuffed banana peppers, cheese sticks, a burger, a pasta and a personal pizza at the table. Everything was mediocre. The drinks/beers could have been colder. We had a great experience at this new restaurant! It's where Gordon Biersch was and that was our favorite restaurant till they closed. Love to see the inside is very similar! You can sit in the bar area or if you come with your family you can sit in the dining area. Our waitress was very informative when it came to the gluten free options as well! I just have to commend a server we recently had dining at Santoras . In our years of dining out we witnessed the worst, a table of 6 very demanding women who needed to eat in less than an hour and one seasoned restaurant scammer amongst them. The entire experience had us shaking our heads and the server handled every minute of their excessive demands with grace. I truly believe she is the most amazing person with the kindest heart, to handle these scamming women with such grace! We almost felt we were on an episode of undercover boss and wanted to see them give her a full ride scholarship for her college degree, top notch server and we wish her all the best for her future!! We checked out Santora's on a Saturday around 5pm.  My first thought was that it would be a good spot for a book club get-together.  They have an area off to the side, which could offer some privacy.  I also like that this location is right at the Walden Galleria Mall; get your holiday shopping done and then fill your belly. It took awhile to get seated even though it wasn't really busy; felt a bit ignored.  But things got a bit better once we were seated.  The server came over and welcomed us.  Robert was a very friendly waiter and took good care of us. We had studied the menu before going because when dining with kids, we like to know what we are ordering ahead of time.  I flipped through the menu about 7 times looking for the stinger sub that we saw on the online menu, but it was nowhere to be found.  Robert said they recently took it off the menu, along with hot bbq sauce (I'm sure there were other items that were eliminated, but it sounded like there were more).  He asked the kitchen if they could still make the stinger and they said it wouldn't be a problem. When our food arrived, the stinger sub was a chicken finger sub with no sauce.  They took it back and remade it.  It was light on fingers and loaded with onions.  Nothing I would order again. Boneless wings were disappointing.  I liked that we could split sauces, but they really weren't that great.  They were dry inside and didn't have much of a crispy, crunchy coating.  The mild sauce tasted sweet to my husband and I, so they made some new ones.  That was so kind of them and they were better than the first round.  (The manager even came over to check in.  That wasn't necessary, but we appreciated it).  I did like the cajun flavor, because I'm a big spice fan; however, I would skip the boneless wings next time and order fingers in a cajun sauce/seasoning. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza.  It was eh.  A thin crust and nothing like the Buffalo pizza that I love.  It wasn't until we got home that I realized we had regular pepperoni instead of cup n' char, which we had definitely ordered.  It even said it on the receipt. The fries were crispy and the homemade chips were crunchy. Tip: Sign up for their email club and get a free order of battered mozzarella.  I'm not a huge fan of melty cheese, but my husband enjoyed them.  They reminded of the mozzarella sticks from buffets. Overall, the atmosphere was a place where I would like to dine, but the food was a miss.  I love Buffalo classics and this spot fell short.  Hopefully it was just an off-day in the kitchen, because this place has so much to offer. read more

First, the people who work at this restaurant are very nice, so the negative things I have to say do not reflect them. We came on a Friday during spring break from school. They did not have French fries. They did not have roast beef. There were probably three choices for the lunch special, one of them was roast beef. Which they did not have. It wasn't until after we were seated and had ordered drinks that we were told they were out of certain products. Would have been nice to know that upon walking in because then we would have gone somewhere else. The food was not good quality at all. I ordered a chicken club. The chicken looked processed and had a pink hue to the outside I'm not sure if it was barbecue sauce or some chemical. I have no idea. The bacon they put on top was disgusting. It was all mushy fat with almost no meat. This was served on oily bread. I'm guessing they would call it grilled. I would not. I did not like their French onion soup. Had a super weird combination of spices in it and the cheese was mediocre. I kept deciding whether it was okay or gross.I went back and forth but I ate it because that's what there was. This place was as cheap and run-of-the-mill as a national chain restaurant. I just hated it. So many restaurants have moved in and out of the mall and I hope this is the next one to move out. This new addition to the Santora's family is located in the former Gordon Biersch restaurant at the Walden Galleria. It's packed full of televisions and would be a great spot to watch a game. The food is similar to the other Santora's, offering a wide variety, but the atmosphere is what makes it. They also now brew and serve their own beers. I had a great time meeting some of my girlfriends here for our girls dinner, as we switch locations every time. I'm glad we chose here. Plenty of room, very clean, and great service. Good selection on menu. I chose the chicken Milanese. It was a large portion, and you get 2 sides, so I chose double Brussels sprouts. It was topped off with balsamic glaze, which I love. All was delicious and can't wait to get it again. I do want to try their meatballs next time as well, so I'll be getting a side of those and will review my thoughts when I go back, which is hopefully going to be soon! read more

This place used to be really good. The last 2 times have been a huge disappointment. They are always out of things "sorry that's not available tonight" and recently we had the WORST food. This review was doomed from the start because I absolutely loved Gordon Birsch and any restaurant that took over was not going to be good enough in my view. It was what you would expect in a sports bar. Dark interior, lots of TVs, and a menu packed with buffalo wing items. The alcohol selection is good and they have house brews as well. Our server was phenomenal and went out of his way to help us. The food was ok, just ok, not anything to great to write about. We had buffalo wing breadsticks which was the highlight of the meal, but could feed a family of 4 for an appetizer. I had the beef wick flatbread and it was extremely dry. It had little flavor and nothing to moisten it, I would never order it again. My child had chicken tenders and French fries, and the fries looked good but where deceiving. I had one and didn't finish it, it was horrible. My husband had chicken wings and said they where decent but that's all. All and all nothing horrible, but wouldn't go back for dinner, maybe appetizers and drinks. read more

I was debating between a three and four but I'd say the food was good enough here to amp it up despite the service. Our server was very kind and as attentive as possible but she seemed to be the only front of house staff in the whole restaurant. She was seating people, bartending and serving everyone at the tables. You 100% go to this place for its close proximity to the Galleria and let me tell you it's better than everything attached to the mall expect for melting pot (but I wouldn't count that as melting pot is sort of fine dinning.) We started with the Tomato Focaccia Garlic Bread and wow what a dish! You get almost a whole loaf of bread! It's basically an elevated bruschetta with the addition of melty mozzarella. You've got to get it if you come to Santora's! I was sad to here they where out of the house mad Ravioli so I settled for the baked rigatoni. The pasta was well cooked and the cheese sauce was delicious! It also came with garlic knots that reminded me of Jack Astors crazy bread (an old mall fav that sadly closed). Check out this place if your in the mall looking for sit down bight. Same sort of food as Cheesecake Factory but 10 million times better. With more servers this place would be a perfect 5! read more

Had such high hopes for this place based on the menu. Quite disappointed. From out of town so searched Yelp for a unique restaurant to try. Location is interesting. At the Galleria in restaurant row. Did take-out because of the pandemic. Parking is horrible to run in and grab a prepaid bag of food. Interior was pretty dark. Although my order was the only one in the shelf, took two hostesses to locate it. Ordered the bourbon bacon jam burger, medium rare. It was truly rare, not the medium rare requested. Burger was huge which made the bottom bun, where the jam was, soggy. Needed utensils but none were provided. Burger was OK but nothing special. More of a novelty due to the size than a burger to be savored and remembered. There was a sweetness to the jam that was not exactly pleasant but also not unpleasant. Fries were bleh. For the nearly $3 cost, expected a much better fry. It was food. It was mainly warm (middle of the burger the exception due to being rare instead of medium rare). Will I go back? No. Would I recommend it to someone visiting Buffalo? No. Do I wish I tried somewhere else? Yes. Did it curb my hunger? Yes. read more

Santora's Pub and Grill across from the Galleria Mall is absolutely appalling. My husband brought me home a Wedge salad and about a forth of the way into my salad, I see something crawling. Initially I didnt see it because this salad has balsamic dressing and bacon bits in it (which is dark). After further studying it, there were DEAD bugs as well as the LIVE one. Totally gross. My husband called the restaurant and he was told "Well we wash the lettuce but we can make another one". Now you know there is no way the lettuce was washed seeing this vermin in my food because the bugs woulda been washed away. Naturally we declined as I believe I had my fill of bugs for the remainder of my LIFETIME. The person who my husband spoke with proceeds to tell him to bring it back with the receipt to get a refund. My husband arrives to the establishment and the same restaurant representative tried to offer a medium pizza instead. Again no sir, we have no interests in any food from there ever again. I'm grossed out and disturbed and I would absolutely NOT recommend indulging at this establishment. read more
