The $3 coffee was just ordinary . They were able to honor separate checks and were very accommodating with our many requests . Went for the Easter brunch - not sure if they were expecting to be that busy but it was a bit of a mess. The food station was very dark, messy and couldn't really see what things were plus the food was very dry. The waitresses seemed very overwhelmed it took a long time for our waters I had to ask a few times for enough silverware for our party. I hear their Sunday omelets are good . I will try that but I will stay away from any holiday buffets because the price for what we got was not worth it. read more

Very good atmosphere. The food was fantastic. Stuffed banana peppers are possibly the best I have had. Burgers were huge and tasted great. Daughter said BOW was very good, and she's a picky eater. Fries were spot on as well. Not at all a fan of the Cole slaw, too dry. Waitress was swamped. Only server in the whole restaurant and the bartender too. Definitely could have used another body. She was doing a great job though. I'm definitely gonna be hitting this place up more often. I thought prices were amazing on the lunch menu. Met up with some friends here, the place was not busy at all. The decor is basic pub type décor. Our server was friendly and adept. 3 of us ordered the sand thing...a shrimp and flank steak salad which was on the special menu. It had tender flank steak and grilled shrimp served over a bed of fresh spinach. There was crumbled blue cheese sprinkled on, slices of cucumber and cherry tomatoes accompanied it as well . The salad was served with a vinegar that was tasty... They even accommodated our requests for very rare steak... this salad scored big with is! Our fourth ordered the French dip sandwich which came with crispy, coated fries... it was pretty standard and she enjoyed her meal. It wasn't stand out fantastic.... I noticed on the menu that chicken wings were not priced but were labeled "market price" as if it was some sort of delicacy... I mean well it is a delicacy in Buffalo however, they were charging $17 for ten wings... pass I would recommend for standard pub fare and the special we ordered was special! read more

I used to frequent Buffalo's Best Grill for years. My co-workers and I would go to happy hours there quite often. We used to enjoy the place, but it has really gone downhill the last few years! I have been there 3 times in the last 2 years, and each time the food was awful! On this trip there were TWO KIDS working the entire place trying to make customers happy, however it was difficult for them because they had way too much other jobs to do rather than wait on customers! Also know that the owner was present and did nothing to help out! I ordered the Sam Adams Winter Ale, (shocked to see that they still had it on tap knowing it's season had passed but it was still on their menu, however). I waited close to 10 minutes until the waitress came over and said that beer was out and the Sam Adams seasonal is Cold Snap. I said that's fine I'll have the Cold Snap then, only to wait another 10 minutes for the bartender to come over and say they were out of that too! I then ordered a Guinness, and waited another 10 minutes for that while it sat on the bar waiting to be brought to my table! My wife finally called out to the bartender to remind him that I was still waiting for my beer, and it was only then that he brought it over. To his credit, he said that the beer was on him, and apologized for the inconvenience. But even more disappointing was the food! In the past we found the pizza too be bad, of low quality and overpriced, so my wife just ordered medium extra crispy Buffalo wings. She got an order of plain (you could only taste butter on them) soggy wings. I have noticed the quality of food at this restaurant has been going down for a while now. Although we tried to give it a fair shot to redeem itself, we just keep getting more and more disappointed here. Please note that the only reason why I gave it 2 stars instead of one, was because of the two kids who were running around at least trying to help patrons (while the owner just sat on his butt eating popcorn in the corner, with his girlfriend or wife, not caring how hectic his staff was, and he had no desire to help out)! Just 3 stars? What happened? Well, we all know many businesses have staffing problems. It showed at Buffalo's Best Grill. There was 1 waitress serving all the tables and the food to the people sitting at the bar. She really worked hard, but it took forever before she could take our order. It took quite a while before it arrived. The food is a much better story. The lunch menu is partly different from the menu on line and I didn't take a picture of it. I hope I mention everything. I tried their Buffalo Steak sandwich. It comes on a hamburger roll and has plenty of skinny sliced beef on it. To me it might have been a bit more on the rare side, but that's just my preference. The creamy hot sauce gave it a nice kick. As a side you have the option of fries or potato salad. I picked the fries and they were excellent, very crispy! And a lot of them too! I am sure once the staffing problem is solved, I will give them a 4 star review. read more

There was only one waitress taking care of the entire dining room with at least 30 people at the bar or tables, so I did not initially notice that my burger had no bacon. The waitress was too busy. Came here again ! Food once again was fantastic. Got the chicken wing dip and brisket mac and cheese. I took some new pics. I literally brought someone here just to try the chicken wing dip! It's that good! It comes in a big bread bowl ! I think the chips are homemade too - which makes a huge difference. Mac and cheese was super creamy and the brisket on it was tender and flavorful. It was a huge plate. I felt bad for the female bartender- there were a bunch of drunk guys playing darts (40-50 year olds) they kept bugging the young waitress and hitting on her. I want to give this place four stars but feel that may be premature. They have a large building, so if the parking lot seems packed, there is still probably a table for you somewhere inside. We came inside and there was one man playing live music on a guitar, on a Sunday afternoon, and it was so loud we could hear it as we walked up TO the building. We entered and two fast waitresses hustled by saying they would be right with us. Less than 30 seconds later, one came to us and wanted to seat us in the area of the loud music (we had a party of four). We asked if we could be seated on the "quieter side" and not a problem. Once we sat, the music was so loud you couldn't talk without yelling at each other. The problem is the place has a flat, metal ceiling that the sound just bounces off of and it was painful until we heard he was almost done. Perhaps this should be something Management should look into fixing...? The menu is big with great salads, burgers, Wraps, fun appetizers and entrees with a few specials to boot. All in all, everyone enjoyed their meal, with a GREAT server. I want to go back to try different food and have the ability to talk to my friends. read more

I've had enough experiences here which I can safely say this place earns 5 stars. Now, the majority of my experiences here have been on Fridays. So I get the fish fry. They have 6 versions. But I always get the traditional beer battered. I can't believe this place isn't known around town for having the best fish fry. To be fair I haven't had that many. I am not from buffalo. I am from Virginia. But seriously, the fish fry is outstanding. For one thing the fish is huge. Bigger than the plate. Flaky and delicious. Second they give you like 4 sides. A potato dish, macaroni salad, coleslaw and rye bread. Everything was phenomenal. Also customer service, decor, number of beers, TVs, and everything else you want in a casual American restaurant was all top notch. Also my father in law, from buffalo, said they have some of the best bleu cheese he has ever had. I might try other fish fries in future buffalo visits. We came to Eat here after an event at the bills stadium. And looking at Yelp to find something new in the area. We saw good reviews for the food, but several reports of bad service. We were willing to take the chance of bad slow service for good food that is out of this world. We started off with a giant pretzel which like other reviews say was very good. Now to our actual meals. I got the mushroom Swiss burger which I asked for medium. My burger was definitely well done and unfortunately not very flavorful. My daughter decided to pick some thing out of the box, and get the stuffed mushrooms. Now I've had some amazing stuffed mushrooms unfortunately these did not pass the bar. They were bland and had some sort of acidic sauce inside like Worcestershire sauce that did not quite complement the sausage and breadcrumbs. Was very overpowering. My boyfriend got the French dip, which she feels can never be messed up. Well good thing they did not mess it up because he enjoyed it and ate the entire thing. Because my daughter did not eat her mushrooms I did give her half of my burger and we all split our sides of french fries and macaroni and cheese. I will say the french fries were great, and the macaroni and cheese was phenomenal. Wish this was something that could be offered to children except we were not given a childrens menu, so I do not know if they actually offer a children's menu. The menu is limited but there are options, but seem to be mainly focused on sandwiches. Three burgers total a couple of specials, appetizers, and the rest of the menu with sandwiches. Because my daughter did not eat I did allow her to pick from the dessert bar, yes parents don't come at me, she was hungry. She picked the pumpkin pie which was brought out to us on a plate drizzled with chocolate syrup and strawberries. The strawberries were so fresh and delicious. I only got to take two small bites of the pie before this child devoured the plate. So the pie I recommend. I wish I could say more about my entrée of the burger but unfortunately it was just a lackluster burger. Reviews I read here on yelp rave about the burgers so maybe I just had an off day but it's not some thing I would write home about. read more

A friend and I went there yesterday for,a beer and a bite to eat. It was not very busy at all. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and fries and I ordered roast beef on weck with fries. We waited an hour for it to be brought out. My friend commented on the fries being cold and the bartender said she would get us fresh fries and it would only take 3 minutes. We have been trying to find a cool sports bar in Hamburg around this area, and my husband said his friend recommended their burgers. Definitely an awesome choice! We sat down and got a mule, the stinger egg rolls, and bacon cheddar burgers cooked medium (don't mind my half eaten one, it was awesome lol). Everything was great! Tons of flavor, cooked awesome, best fries in the game. My only complaint would be the service and the cook of the burger. We all asked for medium, but there was no pink. Not one to send anything back, plus the flavors were awesome so we didn't mind! It wasn't overdone or charred. Additionally, the service was a little weak. We couldn't hear a word our waitress was saying, and she only came to check on us once the whole dinner, which thank goodness because we were super thirsty for water. bar service was good. the food was horrible, horrible, horrible. the only ones in there where people at he bar. we should of left at that point. we did eat at the bar. my husband and sister ordered the Cajun fish. they where extremely disappointed as the fish was way over cooked. the fries are horrible along with the sides. I really enjoy the atmosphere here. It gives you a family feel with an Irish bar touch. The food has always been good with fair prices. The chicken wings are delicious and saucey. The fish fries are large and I love that they use dill in their macaroni salad! My favorite meal on the menu is the open faced prime rib sandwich. This place is quite decent. Its a rockin bar and they double as a full on restaurant as well. The food is legit too! They offer much more then your typical expected bar cuisine and the menu seems to change from time to time. Tables for big parties are available and several tvs and nooks to be more private are offered. Ambience is somewhere between quiet and obnoxious but thats how we like it! Seriously check this place out for drinks and wings or for a full on dinner party. You probably wont be disappointed. We came here with 9 people and only one dish was sent back. The salads are always great, soups are always spectacular, along with the Mac salad they make. Our bartenders have always been grade A. Attentive, quick and always friendly.
