It would be nice if the staffer told me that there is a $0.49 surcharge. Restroom: Restrooms are available. Location/Parking: Located in a strip strip mall between Laurens Ave. and Maine Ave.. Shared parking can be found in the front of the shop. Ambiance/Decor: Hole in the wall type of shop. Doesn't look modern like other Taco Nazo's. I guess this shop focuses on authenticity. There's music being played inside the shop. You might have a hard time hearing your number being called to pick up your food. Order Of Operations: 1) Order at the register 2) Find a seat 3) Once your number is called, go up to the pick up/condiment section and get your food. Service: Service was alright. Food came out at a decent time. The staffer behind the register was friendly and offered great suggestions. Food Of Choice: 1) Fish Tacos: Fish tacos were great. I was quite happy that the fish was a decent size and they load up the taco quite nicely with all the fixings (cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and some white sauce) 2) Bean and Cheese Burrito: Burrito was quite cheesy! It was nice eating it with the green sauce. El Taco Nazo For Thought: I would mind coming back to get more fish tacos.

He went to school in Le Cordon Bleu and has worked in different LA kitchens. I like that there are many vegan options even though I'm not particularly vegan. It is tasty overall. My favorite is the oven baked burrito ! I'm pretty sure they still have it. It's basically just lathered like a wet burrito. Sooo yummy. Ambiance - I usually take the food to go. They do have a little sit down area available to eat. Like he says in his YouTube video, many "authentic" Mexican kitchens are using canned ingredients and it's important to use fresh produce even if it's considered "fast food." I appreciate that. It's delish and I like bringing some for my Vegan bestie (:

Full of flavor, and packed with great ingredients. Here are my recommendations: 1. Vegan Nachos with Jackfruit - they load it up with black beans, Vegan Cheese, Your choice of protein and a healthy serving of Guacamole. 2. Chili Cheese Fries are sooo good! Give them a try! 3. Potato Taquitos- not your mamas tacos de papa, they are rolled up taquitos with a good amount of potatoe filling. Flavorful and delicious, served with a side of rice and beans. I also want to shout out their desserts! If you have a sweet tooth and are looking for Vegan delicious options ? Then you must try one of their cakes. My only side bar comment is that the salsa lacks flavor and spice. Would not recommend even trying it. Both the tomatoe and tomatillo salsa just no. The Agua Frescas are delicious! So fresh and great flavor, they have tamarindo, Jamaica and horchata!

But the last two times, I've been getting some other kind of meat or a tiny tiny amount of asada meat mixed with the other meats (they have cheek, lips, and head meat) which I don't prefer. The "asada" tacos not only taste completely different, the texture is different, and it looks like shredded stewy meat. It's also somehow drier and less juicy. I also saw the cook chopping up the flap steaks before I ordered it and that was not what I got. I thought the last time was a mix-up but now I think they thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. 5 stars for the real asada and Jamaica drink 3 stars for whatever I got the last 2 times

They were warm, fresh, and held the tacos together really well. We ordered a variety of tacos, including asada, top sirloin, and al pastor. The asada was okay, and while the top sirloin had good flavor, it wasn't anything particularly memorable. The standout was definitely the al pastor. It had the best flavor of everything we tried and was easily the taco I'd order again. If I come back, I'd skip the variety and go straight for either an al pastor burrito with extra al pastor or an order of al pastor fries because the meat was that good. Overall, the homemade tortillas and salsa bar really stood out, but aside from the al pastor, the rest of the tacos were just average for me.
