Dined in for lunch on 1/21/26 at 12:30 PM. It wasn' busy. Parking: Plenty on the side or in front Food: 1. California Burrito - 3/5, too wet for me. I am not used to a super wet burrito. Usually they mention if it is. I wish there were a little more fries but that is just my preference. 2. Fish Tacos - 3.5/5, they loaded these tacos up!! Fish was fried and fresh, but the downside was too much sauce. I wouldn't recommend. Price: California Burrito costs $14.00 and the fish tacos cost $2.99 each since it was a weekday promotion. Overall, I would come back and just get when they are known for! I ordered the shrimp burrito before and it was bomb!

This place has really good food overall. All their tacos and burritos are excellent. Nachos were good, nothing special. I'm a big carne asada nachos guy too.

Two fish tacos and one shrimp taco.

We stopped at this spot as it came highly recommended for their fish tacos. I tried two fish tacos and one shrimp taco. The fish tacos were really good! They definitely reminded me of the tacos I've had in Ensenada. The shrimp taco was ok, but I wouldn't get that again. I would get another fish taco instead. My daughter had two Al Pastor tacos and she liked them, but they weren't my favorite. The service was great! Everyone was very welcoming and seemed to be genuinely happy that we were there! I would recommend this spot for sure!

I grew up going to this place on a regular basis during Lent for fish Fridays and going back as an adult it tasted just as good! The fish tacos are always the thing I recommend people to try, along with their agua frescas -- I'm impartial to their jamaica! The staff is always welcoming and eager to serve you. There is plenty of seating to enjoy your food there, which you will once you smell it!

My mom was at a doctor appointment and asked me to pick her up. She asked if I can take her to grab something to eat and SHE picked Taco Nazo. She lives in Baldwin Park and we were in Baldwin Park so I asked, "in La Puente?" No right here and pointed to this El Taco Nazo. Huh, I didn't know Taco Nazo had a place here? Well it's not. I kind of started to suspect it when I didn't see some of the specials I am used to seeing at the LP or La Habra Taco Nazo. I can't imagine why there are so many Taco Nazo copy cats. I go to Tijuana regularly and they have a knock off there too but all meats, no fish. Why put yourself up to a standard you are not going to achieve. Anyways, she picked this place and ordered two fish tacos. They did NOT look like I was expecting and while they were OK, it isn't the standard that I thought I was signing up for. The tacos were cold. We were surprised how fast they came out. Like we ordered them, sat down and they are on the table. Now we know why. She was not happy but let me just repeat, SHE asked to come here. She did tell me how delicious some of their other dishes are. I would have to see it. It's not that this place is bad but you state that you're Taco Nazo and your NOT. So the expectations are there but they don't achieve the same standards.

Place is a decent little hole in the wall. The food is actually good. They put a lot of shrimp. Very little Avacado so you might want to take your own Avacado . The buckets of beer $35 for six. The fish tacos are pretty decent size. The atmosphere is very clean. They have a live singer.. He's the cook.! But he does have an awesome voice. And if you want chips and salsa, you're gonna have to buy them.. services pretty quick. It is very fresh.. my to go place for cocktail, just don't forget the avocado.

We finally made over to the best fish taco and shrimp in the heart of Baldwin park..... it's a must when we are in the area.

I was recommended this place by a coworker so decided to give it a try. Didn't know that they were known for their fish tacos and thought we can get a deal since it was Taco Tuesday. Unfortunately, fish tacos were discounted on Wednesday but I still decided to try a fish and chicken taco. Parking was easy as there's parking in the front or a lot nearby. The place itself reminded me of an old diner- with images of famous old men lined up against the wall. There were fake flower props for each table which I thought was lovely. The waitress was nice and let me practice my Spanish and was patient with my ordering. The tacos themselves were soft shelled and pretty thin, kept breaking and falling apart in my hand as I tried to eat them. The fish taco was definitely delicious and well fried. The chicken taco, on the other hand, wasn't great and the chicken itself tasted cheap. Overall I'm glad I tried but probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

Fish tacos and a modelo michelada, perfect flavors all around.

Always the best fish tacos around. Fish comes out piping hot loaded with all the fixings. They also have a salsa bar with their famous guerritos! I got two fish tacos and a michelada and was extremely satisfied.

8/10 Cashier was friendly 3/10 fish tacos these tacos are over $4 needed salt and tortillas were raw . 3/10 Shrimp tacos flavor was good but tortilla was raw and it's doubled so it was terrible tried eating one taco and didn't eat the rest. 8/10 side of rice for a small side they did put a good amount and flavor was great. $26 for 4 tacos small rice I won't be coming again Thank you

Not the greatest. Kinda wished i went across the street to King Taco TBH. I got a shrimp burrito, carne asada burrito, 2 fish tacos, and a Jamaica. Food came out in about 8-10 minutes. Everything tasted bland except the Jamaica. Jamaica was $6, shrimp burrito $13.99, asada burrito $10.99, and 2 fish tacos about $7.50. About $40 bucks later... I wished I had gone somewhere else. Shrimps were extra salty, no flavor in the asada. Fish was just mediocre. You had to drown everything in salsas to make it tasty worthy. The inside ambiance was clean and organized with plenty of seating. Customer service was straightforward. Lots of parking...it was just the food that won't bring me back.

People always ask me what my favorite Mexican restaurant is, and honestly that's hard to answer because the best spots usually aren't trendy. They're not the places with neon signs, fake plants hanging from the ceiling, $22 margaritas, or mirrors designed so people can take Instagram selfies pretending they're in Tulum. Real Mexican food -- especially great regional Mexican food -- is usually found in little hole-in-the-wall spots next to a laundromat, a dry cleaner, or a hair salon where the rent is cheap and the recipes are real. That's exactly what Mi Lindo Oaxaca feels like. It's a small, family-style restaurant with very friendly people and a warm atmosphere. You can see the women back in the kitchen working hard, and somehow you already know the food is going to hit before you even take a bite. Maybe it's because every great Mexican restaurant has tias in the kitchen running the show. Big arms, aprons, moving fast, no wasted motion -- that's usually a good sign. I called ahead to place my order and they were super friendly from the start. When I got there I waited just a few minutes and started looking around. I noticed a small refrigerator filled with homemade desserts and pastries, and one thing that caught my eye was this little bag of bread that looked almost like mini conchas -- but not quite. I asked what they were and the woman explained they were called "Yemas" (egg yolk bread) and that they're shipped directly from Oaxaca. I bought some and honestly they were incredible with coffee the next morning. Soft, slightly rich, subtly sweet -- one of those simple things that reminds you how deep Mexican baking culture actually is outside of the usual stuff people know. Overall: great food, fair prices, genuinely kind people, and the kind of place that makes you want to find another excuse to drive back to La Puente just so you can try more of the menu. This is real Mexican food culture. No gimmicks. No influencer bait. Just quality food made by people who care.
