Maybe if you spent less time focusing on political activism with your NO ICE posters and more time on cleanliness you wouldn't have a disgusting C grade from the Dept of Health. That's OK, I'll head to Taco Nazo in La Puente.

Background On Visit: Stopped by to get a quick snack before I played pickleball nearby. Credit Cards: They're accepted. It would be nice if the staffer told me that there is a $0.49 surcharge. Restroom: Restrooms are available. Location/Parking: Located in a strip strip mall between Laurens Ave. and Maine Ave.. Shared parking can be found in the front of the shop. Ambiance/Decor: Hole in the wall type of shop. Doesn't look modern like other Taco Nazo's. I guess this shop focuses on authenticity. There's music being played inside the shop. You might have a hard time hearing your number being called to pick up your food. Order Of Operations: 1) Order at the register 2) Find a seat 3) Once your number is called, go up to the pick up/condiment section and get your food. Service: Service was alright. Food came out at a decent time. The staffer behind the register was friendly and offered great suggestions. Food Of Choice: 1) Fish Tacos: Fish tacos were great. I was quite happy that the fish was a decent size and they load up the taco quite nicely with all the fixings (cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and some white sauce) 2) Bean and Cheese Burrito: Burrito was quite cheesy! It was nice eating it with the green sauce. El Taco Nazo For Thought: I would mind coming back to get more fish tacos.

Dined in for lunch on 1/21/26 at 12:30 PM. It wasn' busy. Parking: Plenty on the side or in front Food: 1. California Burrito - 3/5, too wet for me. I am not used to a super wet burrito. Usually they mention if it is. I wish there were a little more fries but that is just my preference. 2. Fish Tacos - 3.5/5, they loaded these tacos up!! Fish was fried and fresh, but the downside was too much sauce. I wouldn't recommend. Price: California Burrito costs $14.00 and the fish tacos cost $2.99 each since it was a weekday promotion. Overall, I would come back and just get when they are known for! I ordered the shrimp burrito before and it was bomb!

This place has really good food overall. All their tacos and burritos are excellent. Nachos were good, nothing special. I'm a big carne asada nachos guy too.

We stopped at this spot as it came highly recommended for their fish tacos. I tried two fish tacos and one shrimp taco. The fish tacos were really good! They definitely reminded me of the tacos I've had in Ensenada. The shrimp taco was ok, but I wouldn't get that again. I would get another fish taco instead. My daughter had two Al Pastor tacos and she liked them, but they weren't my favorite. The service was great! Everyone was very welcoming and seemed to be genuinely happy that we were there! I would recommend this spot for sure!

I grew up going to this place on a regular basis during Lent for fish Fridays and going back as an adult it tasted just as good! The fish tacos are always the thing I recommend people to try, along with their agua frescas -- I'm impartial to their jamaica! The staff is always welcoming and eager to serve you. There is plenty of seating to enjoy your food there, which you will once you smell it!

My mom was at a doctor appointment and asked me to pick her up. She asked if I can take her to grab something to eat and SHE picked Taco Nazo. She lives in Baldwin Park and we were in Baldwin Park so I asked, "in La Puente?" No right here and pointed to this El Taco Nazo. Huh, I didn't know Taco Nazo had a place here? Well it's not. I kind of started to suspect it when I didn't see some of the specials I am used to seeing at the LP or La Habra Taco Nazo. I can't imagine why there are so many Taco Nazo copy cats. I go to Tijuana regularly and they have a knock off there too but all meats, no fish. Why put yourself up to a standard you are not going to achieve. Anyways, she picked this place and ordered two fish tacos. They did NOT look like I was expecting and while they were OK, it isn't the standard that I thought I was signing up for. The tacos were cold. We were surprised how fast they came out. Like we ordered them, sat down and they are on the table. Now we know why. She was not happy but let me just repeat, SHE asked to come here. She did tell me how delicious some of their other dishes are. I would have to see it. It's not that this place is bad but you state that you're Taco Nazo and your NOT. So the expectations are there but they don't achieve the same standards.

Place is a decent little hole in the wall. The food is actually good. They put a lot of shrimp. Very little Avacado so you might want to take your own Avacado . The buckets of beer $35 for six. The fish tacos are pretty decent size. The atmosphere is very clean. They have a live singer.. He's the cook.! But he does have an awesome voice. And if you want chips and salsa, you're gonna have to buy them.. services pretty quick. It is very fresh.. my to go place for cocktail, just don't forget the avocado.

We finally made over to the best fish taco and shrimp in the heart of Baldwin park..... it's a must when we are in the area.

Order my food here and couldn't eat inside because for some reason they had the other half of the restaurant closed down.

A Fun Little Mexican Spot for a Birthday Celebration!…read more Came here after work to celebrate a coworker's birthday, and we were greeted with a pretty good vibe and atmosphere! It wasn't packed at all around 5 PM on a Thursday, which was perfect for a little after-work dinner. The restaurant has a cool, casual Mexican vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and attentive throughout the meal. La Cosecha Molcajete -- $39.99 | 7/10 This was actually my second time ordering the La Cosecha Molcajete, so I already knew what I was getting into! A molcajete is basically a sizzling stone bowl filled with grilled meats, seafood, veggies, cheese, and a flavorful sauce--all served together so you can mix and match every bite. This one came loaded with skirt steak, chicken, two shrimp, cactus, cheese, and chorizo, along with a side of rice and beans. I also asked for both flour and corn tortillas, but only received the corn tortillas. Flavor-wise, it was decent! I've had molcajetes at several other Mexican restaurants, and I'd say this one was good but not my favorite. The sauce was flavorful, but I've definitely had better sauces elsewhere. Still, there's something fun about having a giant sizzling bowl of meat, shrimp, cheese, and all the fixings landing on your table! A few of my coworkers ordered other dishes that you'll see pictured, although I didn't personally try them enough to give ratings. My coworker did mention that the shrimp tacos were good but that she's had better. Overall, this is a cool little spot to grab some Mexican food, especially if you're looking for a casual place to hang out with coworkers or friends. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the molcajete was definitely fun to order! Would I come back? I wouldn't say no! There are still plenty of things on the menu I'd love to try. Happy Eats!
