Wow! Wow! Wife and I went to the Sap House Meadery tonite. Have been there a few times but it keeps getting better. They change their menu based on customer feedback and have added some great options. The food has always been good. The drinks. Amazing. Unforgettable. Their Mead flies are a must try. They make the alcohols with bees and it's been a great experience. If you are coming up to North Conway, it's a must visit for lunch, dinner but for the drinks especially. read more

The food was excellent last year so maybe just a bad night tonight. Hamburger for my toddler was raw in the middle. The Pasta Bolognese was advertised as having simmered beef in it. There was just one piece of beef in the whole dish. A Bolognese with no meat in it was very unfortunate. read more

Food: Ploughmans lunch - Assorted meats & cheese, pickled veggies, house mustard, jam, & crostini. This was good! Sticky pig wings - Honey, sesame & soy sticky glazed mini pork shanks. Served with thai ranch and scallions. Wow, were these unique and delicious. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and the sauce was delicious ! Herbed statler chicken- herbed roasted airline chicken, blueberry honey glaze, lemon rice, & roasted asparagus. This was okay, chicken and rice lacked flavor. Stumbled into this storefront while shopping and had a great experience. Complimentary tasting of mead left us wanting more. We grabbed seats and tried 6 different meads; all of which were wonderful. We ordered some tableside s'mores and they were yummy! The meadery is very cute with lovely art on the walls. We look forward to going back to try more items on the menus! read more

I was genuinely shocked to see such a median score on Yelp for this place, especially with so few reviews (7 reviews at this time) My group and I had such an incredible meal here that I knew I had to write a review to help get the word out! The food was absolutely awesome. We tried the BBQ Confit duck sandwich, and it was rich, savory, and perfectly cooked. The Mediterranean Roasted Chicken was also fantastic--tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. For dessert, the Basque cheesecake was a perfect, creamy ending to our meal. It was a beautiful day, so we were able to enjoy our food outside on the patio, which was a great experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. This place deserves so much more recognition. The food is outstanding, and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back! read more

Rude, Rude, Rude!!! Went with my wife and our daughter and son in-law last night at 7:05 pm. Downtown was busy the meadery was busy but had numerous open tables. We went in and asked to be seated upstairs. The young female manger said it was full. We asked if we could go upstairs and grab a drink and she said the bar was full. We then asked if we could be seated downstairs and she said the kitchen was backed up. We then asked if we could grab a few drinks and she said the bar was backed up! Funny, I was looking at two bartenders talking. 5 feet away. We left never to return. It was so strange that they wouldn't seat us when at least 8 tables were open. Horrible manager! Pleasant surprise. This area used to be a sporting apparel shop. We walked up, saw indoor and outdoor seating so figured would try it. The food was very good prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was good because it wasn't overly loud and you could communicate well with the people at your table. The waitstaff was excellent never felt rushed and I saw people come in after closing, and they still seated them. Very friendly Definitely would recommend it read more

Great spot. We stopped here for a drink and to watch the end of the game. What a great little find in North Conway. It is clean, modern and comfortable inside. The drinks were great, we had the Buffalo chicken dip appetizer which was great and the bartender was awesome (Markita if I remembered her name right )- she was friendly, inviting, pleasant, professional, gave great service and a joy to talk to. We loved her!!! We would definitely go back when in the area. read more

We enjoyed our time at the Sap House Meadery. We sat outside on the patio and had a good view of the town. I had a mead flight which I liked, nothing like anything I've had before. I especially liked the rhubarb one. Most of our group got the smash burgers which were very tasty and seasoned fries were a hit too. Service was good as well. We would definitely return! read more

This place was cute inside. I came here to eat with my family. I ordered the pomegranate no-jito (non-alcoholic mojito). It was brought over with no mint. I took it up to the bar and waited for someone to come out. When I asked for the mint, the bartender said, "oh yeah; I thought I was forgetting something". I replied, "yeah, mojitos usually have a lot of mint muddled in the drink". She brought back a spring of mint, pulled a couple leaves off and put them on top. "We don't do that here; we just put it on top"....ok. I guess I just ordered a $10 watered down pomegranate juice with a garnish. The food wasn't bad. The beet salad I ordered was decent. The beets and carrots weren't really roasted enough, still pretty hard, and the chicken I added was really tough. The rest of our party ordered burgers which seemed good (other than the upgraded toppings missing from one of them), and the ricotta and honey dip was good. The kids meals were supposed to come with a free ice cream or something from another place, but nobody told us how to get them; so, we ended up just forgetting about it. All in all, I would give it an "Eh". Not terrible, not great. read more

Disappointing. I wanted this place to be great, but sadly, after several visits, it's not cutting it. The staff are nice, but extremely slow. It took over 20 minutes to be asked for a drink order and another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We waited another 20 mins before we were asked for our food order. The food after several visits has been mid at best. Way over seasoned and salty. Prices are on the higher end as well so definitely not worth it. It's still a decent place to grab a drink and listen to some music, but other than that I'd go somewhere else to eat. I hope they can improve. I'm rooting for them. read more

Stopped in at the newest location for Sap House Meadery last night after a great ski day @ Loon. We were greeted by the co-owner, Matt. I never tried meadery before and so Matt graciously offered us a sample. It was great. What also makes this place so great is the staff they've assembled. All the staff including our Bartender, Erin and the Manager, Kate were all so welcoming. I've known Kate since she and her husband ran the Eaton Village Store. Kate was also behind the opening and operation of Public House on Page Hill in Tamworth and now she's involved with the Sap House Meadery. Clearly Matt & team wanted to give North Conway something truly special. I started off with the cheese plate and then the grain bowl with chicken. It was outstanding. I look forward to returning soon and I hope everyone gives this place a try. North Conway is sadly overwhelmed by big-box stores and fast-food restaurants. It's important that we support local businesses. Those who dare to dream and take risks to offer something different and truly special. read more
