Awesome little spot to check out if you are into the brewery/winery/meadery scene. I've picked up bottles of their Sugar Maple whenever I see it in stores back in MA - but let me tell you, nothing is better then drinking directly at the source! My girlfriend and I got two mead flights, and a the Jalapeño Face Mead-A-Rita, all of which was totally delicious. I'd highly recommend the Honeyberry Mead, Raspberry Jam Sesh Mead, and of course the Jalapeño Face! They have some light lunch options too, we ordered a cheese board, which was a great light snack.

A flight of 4 different meads. Very worthwhile, and helpful in deciding what bottle(s) to buy and take home.

If you never had mead -- or great mead -- you should come to this place. I love the taster serving, which is great for deciding what bottle to buy. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit rustic, and the staff are quite friendly. It's in a sleepy little town and not (yet) a whole lot going, but absolutely worth the trip. Join their club and they'll send you discounted bottles in the mail!

TAMMY FREAKIN ROCKS! This is a must visit spot every trip we make to Lake Ossippee. Snackies are always delicious and prepared with care, just like the mead!

Absolutely loved this place! Would highly recommend. My family was vacationing in North Conway for the weekend. We had stopped at Zebs store browsing around, we stumbled upon Sap House Meadery products. They had the last "one of these days" aged mead in old bourbon barrels and some lady had got her hands on it before us. Thankfully, the store manager informed us they we located 45 mins away. We decided to go there for a late lunch on out way home. It was a cute little rustic place, the service was great and amazing food!

Sap House Meadery is located in a storefront near an old train station.

We came upon this place when leaf peeping a few weeks ago and it was amazing. Probably some of the best mead out there.

Awesome place to stop on our way up to the white mountains. The maple Mead was delicious and the chickpea taco was perfect .

You might think 5 min...there was only 3 tables with customers. Once seated it was another 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. Drinks , appetizers came out in a timely manner. As fro the main courses a different story. Both my wife and son ordered steak fritz with chimmichuri on top. We waited for over 25 minutes too get an over cooked dry slab of meat. It looked like the steaks were set under heat lamps waiting for the waitress to get the food and deliver. My son could see into the kitchen where the 2 waitresses were discussing something very important with the chef and not getting food out the door. 25 min to get our meals. To top it off there was NO chimmichuri to be found on the beef or on the side. Unfortunately the waitress never checked back so we couldn't have her go to the kitchen and get some. Extremely disappointed!! We actually had to go find our waitress to get our check. I really think 1.5 stars but you can't. Maybe next time we try the bar but reading some of the reviews maybe not. Sad to say....

What was kind of surprising while reflecting and recalling this beer experience was that I gave the experience a pretty high rating on Untappd and I thought I'd be rushing right over to Yelp to write a review about it. But better late than never, right? The beer that we had was the Farmhouse Pale Ale. This was a good one! With this saison-ish Pale Ale we cheerfully found flavors of hoppiness, a clean finish and an overall dry presence when we enjoyed this beer. I know my description of the flavor profile sounds like numerous other beer experiences that we have had. But this beer and it's elements really came together well and that is why I rated it so highly. While we didn't try out other beer options if they are as impressive as this Pale Ale was then this brewery definitely has a good thing going for it!

I thought it was really interesting that they offer Duckfat food items to order, and there was also a Terlingua food truck outside. The beer selection was impressive, with plenty of options to choose from. My only wish is that they had a few more cider or seltzer choices available. Our group of eight had plenty of room sitting in the back, and the space felt comfortable and spacious without being crowded. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back!
