Absolutely incredible service from Josiah during our wine tasting. Outstanding and original wines using anything but grapes. Beautiful scenery of Meredith, NH. surrounding you in a gorgeous area AND they do live music upstairs? It's perfect. I stand by my recommendation that a Vermouth made from this place would be outstanding and would be awesome paired with a Barr Hill Gin. But I digress. Just go already. We bought two bottles and plan to buy more. Red Scare is a must.

Our bill. Check your bill they add gratuity to it!! We weren't informed of this and didn't notice,

We stopped in due to the yelp reviews. Took a few minutes to be seated. Hostess and waitress were cheery and pleasant. Beautiful interior. Note- on street parking only. We both got a semi sweet dry red- very good. Ordered a salad and sandwich and we shared. Food was really good and perfectly prepared. This would have been a 5 star review, however they added gratuity to a bill for 2 people and we weren't notified of the same . We are not accustomed to this so we weren't looking for it. We handed the waitress a $10 for her tip- she thanked us but didn't point out gratuity was also added to the bill. We would have told her to keep it regardless- but it's the point. We tipped 18 percent, obviously we didn't know there was a 15 percent gratuity already added. Make sure you check your bills before you tip!!!

We really enjoyed this beautiful location and building. We sat outside on the patio. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered sandwiches and wraps and wine flights. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back to this awesome location- we saw listings for live music in the evenings and it seems like a lovely place to enjoy that!

Really cute place. Tons of seating upstairs. Servers are nice. Got the mixed flight and the red flight. Very fruity wines. Some are sweet but they have some nice dry reds. Overall am happy with this place. It's a gem in the area. They have a full food menu which I'll check out next time! Reasonably priced - 14 dollars a flight. Pours are appropriate.

Visited during our vacation and had such a great experience. Our server was so sweet and gave the best recommendations! We got a few different flights: Rose, White and Mead. Their flights are $12 for 3 wines. Everything they sell is fruit wine with fruits they can get locally! Our favorites were the Heirloom Crabapple, Strawberry Rubarb Rose and the Blackberry Mead. Love that they're dog friendly on the patio as well!

    Yum!

Wine day with the girls. Wine, wine, wine, yummy! The husbands were out skiing so we decided to visit our friend Malbec out in Meredith. Can't recommend enough. Go Bruins!

Northern Berry wine and cranberry cider frozen drink - delish!

My husband and I were visiting from Long Island and happened to stop here on a whim. Boy are we glad we did!! The wines are nothing like what we get at home, seeing that they're fruit wines. We ended up having a great conversation with Elise, who was doing our tasting for us. She was super knowledgeable and personable. We ended up buying a whole bunch of the wines and ciders too (my husband loves cider). We walked the shops and ended up back here to sit for a glass of wine and some bites. I wish we lived closer because we would be regulars!!

Such a nice break from the city. We did the wine tasting. There is enough wine for you and your friends to try different wines. Elise took such good care of us. Very knowledgeable. No rushing here at all. Bathroom is downstairs and super clean. Nice touch to add the dark chocolate with the dessert wine. Perfect addition. Eat the chocolate with your wine. I highly recommend!!!

I came up with a 4 with an average of my thoughts on the food (5) and the wine (3). Note: I'm not a huge wine person. The food we all had was delicious! ? One of my friends and I got paninnis (Roast Beef Spanakopita and "Slaw" Py Pig) and then did tradesies to we could each try both! I preferred the Roast Beef over the Slaw Py Pig because the latter was a tad sweeter than I like a sandwich. Our other friend got the Balsamic Fig Flatbread which was gone before either of the other two of us could ask for a taste haha. As for the wine, we all got the sweet flight. There was really only one that I cared for and my friends liked most of them, but did not like them enough to purchase a bottle. The winery itself is nice and they have the main floor, a loft area to sit or outside for seating. I don't think you'd regret paying them a visit.

    Wine tasting at the bar

Had a great time here while visiting the area during my anniversary weekend. My boyfriend and I arrived in time for the 3 PM tour on a Saturday. The winery was having a special in March where you could get the tour for free and then decide to pay for a tasting for $12 (normal tour and tasting is $25). What a steal! One of the owners gave us a tour and we were there with one other couple. He went through some of the history of the winery and I was amazed at how big they've gotten after starting in a garage as a hobby! What a great story! The owner we had on the tour was super friendly and happy to answer questions. We got to taste a newer version of their crab apple wine on the tour. Once we got upstairs, we were given glasses to do a tasting at the bar. We were given 1 taste for free of the kiwi wine that was on sale and then we could each pick 6 other wines that we wanted to sample. The woman behind the bar was awesome. She was knowledgeable about the wines and was doing well even though she had a ton of people to look after. There were other people who worked there and were going back and forth. I'm not sure why she wasn't given more help as she had about 5 different parties that weren't all going at the same pace. While I liked the friendly service, the tour and the bright, open space, the wines weren't really my bag. They tell you up front that most of their wines are drier and I'm more of a medium to sweet wine person. That's the only reason they have 4 stars from me instead of 5. If you like drier wines that are made out of alternative fruits (kiwi, crab apple, blueberries, etc) this is the place for you. My boyfriend and I decided to have a glass of wine before leaving. He went with the Strawberry Rhubarb and I had a glass of Petite Blue. We enjoyed our wine and then paid for our tasting and got to take our glasses home. I definitely enjoyed the experience. I just wish they had a few more sweeter wines/meads/ciders.

My absolute favorite is the wine slushies--I look forward to them every year and couldn't wait for them to return in the spring and summer months. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family and fun. Our niece and (now) nephew selected whiteface hollow for the wedding and reception. whiteface hollow - a fantastic barn + house + winery in South Tamworth, NH. The wedding ceremony was outside, in the field, under a large maple tree, and the reception was in the barn. The property has parking in an open space amid trees... the sky is visible but the trees also provide shading to keep the intense heat off the vehicles. The property has a gentle hillside, leading to the grape vines, with a beautiful view of the White Mountains off in the distance... the view was beautiful in the afternoon and phenomenal with that night's sunset! The owner shared that the barn is original wood - interior... the floors and walls are new boards created when they brought a saw mill onsite to cut the wood from trees on the property. The barn had plenty of room for the 18 tables for guests + a dance floor for all of us.. with space for food, and the bar downstairs, and two spaces upstairs (no walls, but balcony rails). Speaking of the bar... they served inside and also through a window to the outside... the blueberry lemonade is very tasty! The winery isn't producing yet but the building is there, and we enjoyed brunch the next morning - nice! And the painting of the property over the bar is wonderful artwork. The owner and her crew were great... so helpful; we were guests so we didn't have the stress, but we could see things were well planned and executed smoothly. Thank you, whiteface hollow, for such a wonderful wedding + reception for our niece and nephew! ----- ----- -----

But probably one of my least favorite meals I've had in a while. I started with the crab rangoon nachos, and honestly, those were the highlight. Definitely different than I expected, but surprisingly good. For my entrée, I got steak, fries, and Asian slaw. The steak itself was tender, and fries are pretty hard to ruin unless you actively resent potatoes, but the overall flavor was just... weird. Not awful, just a mix of spices or seasoning that didn't really work for me. I wouldn't be excited to order it again. Dessert was a Nutella-stuffed cookie pie thing that I split with a friend, and I swear we almost needed an axe to cut into it. Points for durability, I guess. lmao

The bartender and owner, Rick, told us their story and how they had actually just begun doing food and brunch-- what a coincidence we had just seen the sign during our drive! The drinks were great and the conversation even better. We were seated 15ish minutes later on the porch. The wait staff were so pleasant, and the menu is reasonably priced and diverse enough that it doesn't just feel like normal breakfast food. I had the sausage gravy on the biscuit and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend enjoyed the ricotta eggs and a side of bacon that was wonderfully sweet and smokey. We were so excited to have stumbled into this place due to a random little state sign, and our only complaint is that it isn't closer to where we live! TLDR: a must visit if you're anywhere in the area!
