My…read moremother located VIP Event Hall and we decided to hold my engagement brunch/surprise wedding there last week. Upon entering the venue we were hit with the overwhelming smell of fish . We had to call the owner and he came and sprayed air fresher but the smell was so bad we had to buy our own. As my event planner is setting up she took the attached photo and video. There were bugs all over this place with one crawling in my grandmothers plate and two crawling on my wedding cake we had to throw my cake away and kill bugs throughout the evening. I waited a week til I was calm and called the owner Mr. Boon and showed him the photo and video. He blamed US!! Like how dude ... we paid almost $4k for this Hall and to shut me up he offered me $100 say what! I would not recommend this place to anyone it was a pure embarrassment and the owner obviously has not intention of making it right

There was trash all over in the venue The decoration lady whos name Sonia is really bad at decorating and at putting up with what you agreed with... So when I complain to the owner (the couple) they hardly believe what I was saying even though I had proof of it As pics and videos... The communication with them is horrible! We rented the green screen studio and the accompanying dressing room had plenty of space & seating and good lighting for the MUA. The space was comfortable. The rates are comparable. The value was great. The bathrooms were immaculate, as was the large kitchen. Everyone wore their masks and there was Clorox products around. There is a rear load in door so it was very easy to get our equipment in and out. There were two really nice attendants when I got there who unfortunately I cannot remember their names. But they got us set up and made sure our music and temps were good. James closed us out and was great. My first point of contact on the phone, Daniel was super patient & attentive. He made the booking process a pleasure. What can I say, my client who is an A list celeb was happy so I am happy. Will definitely book here again. The lighting was great and I had a last minute request for a big fan and the fellas did not flinch to get it for us. Very nice experience.

They made every effort to make us and our quests feel welcomed and comfortable. They let us in early to decorate, and allowed our board members to come in day in advance and bring in some donated goodies for this event. This venue is perfect for so many type of functions, either private or corporate, and it is clean, calm, asessable, classy, and just inviting with a nice view out to the nature. The bar was conveniently located by the lobby and next to the "mingling area." Parking lot has several handicap parking spaces right at the front entrance, and the layout of the parking is practical. Thank you to The Metropolitan Club! You made our day perfect. Your family and staff deserve way more than five stars. Next time we will take a spin on the dance floor. Thank you again.

Rude and unprofessional. The worker had the audacity to ask us not to put the petals on the side of the aisle because the other party didn't want it there. My sister paid for the venue to be used for a whole day and we did NOT Get THAT. My sister's now husband, also emailed the owner about the inconveniences and unprofessional behaviors of the staff at the venue and they never received a response. It has been exactly 1 week now. If you're thinking about renting this venue for your event, expect the owner and workers to be unprofessional and rude. It's all about the money they get for this place. Expect double bookings and other people coming in and out while you're trying to set up, rehearse, and expect others to come in THE DAY OF your wedding, asking when they can rehearse. There are several tables/chairs outside for guests. The parking lot holds about 80 cars. The reason it's called 550 Trackside is bc the train runs right next to it:). At the time of the wedding no trains were on the track. I'm not certain if they have caterers on site but the caterer that prepared the food was awesome! He prepared stuffed fish with shrimp/spinach/peppers/onions. Delicious!!! The yellow rice was perfectly seasoned and fluffy. The Mac & cheese was delicious - 3 cheeses! I didn't try the grilled chicken but I'm told it was good. I'm considering having my birthday party here:). If you're in the area or just looking for a nice reasonable venue check them out.

Aadil took time out of his own schedule, while he was in the middle of a move, to finalize our menu with us. Aadil and the Signature Ballroom staff continued to work with us and even accommodated changes right up to the evening before the event. It was clear to us that this staff took a high level of pride in their work and that made planning our engagement that much less stressful.
