(my regular therapist has been blessed and is off for a while) Finding this place through Yelp was So Easy. They replied within an hour of my inquiry. I was booked for an appointment very quickly. When I first went in to the office I was greeted by the two mascots, Jack and Morgan. Two Very Sweet dogs who were very vocal with their greeting and very happy to have me greet them with scratches and pets. After filling out the questionnaire, Jack was happy to sit with me for a while and get some special scritches and pats of his own while I waited. He was a comforting presence. Ms. Jerri walked in and then directed me to a room where she asked specific questions about my problem areas and left for me to get ready on the massage table. She was Very Thorough with my back, using a muscle scraping technique along the sides of my spine with what felt like her forearm and the side of her hand. There were moments I was tempted to ask her to stop, but she seemed to know and stopped before I said anything. Her work on my legs and feet was nice and very relaxing. I'm pretty sure she used some kind of wash on my feet with a wet, warm towel to clean them afterward. It was an interesting experience. Not at all unpleasant. She also did something I've never had done before. She lightly massaged my face and tapped at my brow and below my eyes on my cheek bones. It was nice because it helped open up my sinuses after being facedown on the table for a while. After the massage, I reassembled my attire, paid and left. The receptionist asked how it was and I smiled and nodded. I am not saying Ms Jerri is Not a good therapist. I Am Saying, It was the first time I was in her care. As I mentioned before I'm used to different techniques and pressures. My only real issue with this massage was that she did not focus on the specific areas I was having the most issues with, which were outlined in the questionnaire. As with any new experience, especially physical treatments, there is a learning period. Sometimes it takes a few sessions to get the treatments established for the client, and I understand that. Would I go back? Yes, if I am unable to see my regular therapist, absolutely.

She is 10 minutes late so far and instead of a massage I'm waiting in the rain and hail. Update: I called her letting I was waiting for our scheduled appointment outside her office without a response from her of any kind (after two weeks). She apparently has injured her arm according to Groupon. No communication on her part, so if you call her to schedule an appointment she may not show up and not call to cancel either. I had a strikingly similar situation where it took me a few calls to even get her on the phone to make an appointment. Once I did I found I had to schedule a month out, which I did. I showed up 10 minutes early at HER request to fill out paperwork etc. and she did not arrive for 10 minutes AFTER my massage time was suppose to start. I called her phone number on the groupon and kept getting her voicemail. I left messages asking where she was. She finally called back and said she was running late, no apology, and I almost left bc I thought she was a no-show. When she got there she said she would give me an extra neck massage of 15 minutes to make up for starting late. The massage was pretty good- I have had much better however. And when she left the room for me to get dressed, I found that she had also stiffed me on my time- the massage was 50 minutes- not 60 as it was suppose to be and she didn't give me the extra 15 promised, probably because she had another client waiting in the waiting room that she was late for, because she was late for my appointment. But then it gets worse...I bought a Groupon months later for the same business, unknowingly. I figured I would call her to explain that I had bought another groupon for a massage with her, even though it says 1 per customer on the voucher (not sure why groupon doesn't have a default that automatically won't allow you to purchase 2 from a business if that is their policy). I explained that I had another voucher, this one for a 60 min. massage and asked if she would take it anyway or if I should call Groupon to get my money back. She told me that "I will accept it this time" and said she would set up my appointment. I said ok, since the first massage wasn't bad and I figured she was having a bad day previously which made her late and told myself it probably wouldn't happen again. I made the appointment for again- a month out, had to reschedule my job so I could make the 12pm time. I showed up 5 minutes early and she and her counterpart were eating lunch in the waiting room- very unprofessional when you know an appointment is about to walk in the door. I told her who I was, that I had been there before, and handed her my phone with the Groupon. She said "I can't take that, you have already been here once." I said, yes but that we had this whole conversation about the 2nd groupon I inadvertently purchased when I spoke with her on the phone a month ago to book the appointment and that she had said she would accept it "this time". She then told me Groupon wouldn't pay her for the 2nd massage because it was a new rule they had- which I later called Groupon about that very issue and found that was completely untrue, I also got my money back from them with their apology for my crazy situation-no problem. I then got angry and said, that is why I asked you on the phone if I should call Groupon and get my money back and you said no that you would go ahead and honor it, this time! Her response was "I talk to many people everyday- I don't remember what I have said to each individual person"... really! All the more reason to accept the customer for their word and follow through with what they said you agreed to! She then said that SHE was the one really suffering here because she was missing out on a paying customer for MY time slot! I couldn't believe it, a good business person would have apologized, said it was HER mistake and done the massage plus extra time for her mess up! Instead, she blamed ME! Who does that??? I NEVER got an apology, never felt validated for my frustrations with her "forgetting" what she said and never got an apology for MY time taking off work and having to drive there AND back home with NO massage. I had done everything correctly- called her in advance to explain the situation and ask her what to do, made a legitimate appointment WITH her knowledge of the situation, took off work to get to the appointment she had available, drove 30 minutes to her place of business, got there 5 minutes before my scheduled time for my massage- only to deal with this situation which took 15 minutes of arguing before I finally walked out- too frustrated to listen to her voice anymore blaming me...her client. Please take my word and the other reviewers words and DO NOT go to this person for massage!
