    Creme brûlée'

Amazing gnocchi special and pizza special! The creme brûlée was perfection! The wait staff was great- low staff the night we went and the maître d' was a bit frazzled, but when we came back at the suggested time she was very pleasant and the staff was attentive for an oddly busy Monday night. Would absolutely return to this cute and cozy Italian restaurant!

    Seafood Pasta - yum!

So as to not wreck my stomach, I stuck with Italian food for dinner as it was consistent with everything else I had eaten that day. It ended being a smart move. The seafood pasta I ordered is delicious. Yes, delicious. Ribbon-y pasta, fresh seafood in every forkful of food, great color of the dish, it combines the elements of Italy and a bit of Canada flair in one. Adding salmon to this dish not only added good contrast, but superb flavor. The rest of the seafood just adds more character to an already insane pasta dish. I only wish they gave me free bread instead of charging me for it. That stinks. The restaurant does get busy around 4 pm and stays busy for the rest of the night, so get here early or only come for lunch. Either way, this is one plate of food you have to eat.

Great service with a great wine recommendation from our waitress. Got seated in the terrace patio which was awesome. The food was just ok as probably don't have a lot of veg options in this area.

    Delicious calamari.

The service was good. The restaurant was a nice modern Italian feel. We ordered dishes that are too similar. We definitely have much better Italian food in San Francisco.

The service is longer than expected. We ordered an appetizer but never came but they didn't charge it neither. The food was subpar. Felt like a tourist traps. The pasta was nothing special. My duck confit was lack of favor and my wife's seafood pasta was ok. Wish we have gone somewhere else.

    We didn't eat the carbonara

Service was good and waitresses are nice but food was mixed. Ambiance was good with family friendly noise level. Bbq flatbread was good but the carbonara needs help. Flavorless and clumpy. Spaghetti meatball okay but we had a hair in it. The Carnivore pizza was not bad but we struggled to slice the pizza. Would have been nice if the pizza was pre-sliced.

Large portions with fast service. Cosy ambience during the night! The mozzarella sticks were full of cheese!!

Sapristi was so good and I loved my experience here. We ordered the two salmons pasta and buffalo pizza. My favorite was the buffalo pizza. I'm not a huge pizza person but this pizza was so good. The pizza had so much flavor but it wasn't super overpowering which I liked. The two salmons pasta was also very delicious. I've never had salmon in my pizza so it was interesting but still very good. The restaurant is so cute inside and the servers were very helpful!

We live in Montreal and we were going to go to Vermont to eat Olive Gardens, but instead we went to Quebec City, I chose this place as a normal Italian food, but i loved it, I said "Wow! It's been a long time since I've eaten something that good!" The Ambiance was super nice with a lot of rustic decorations, and we were attended by a woman very charismatic, this place is amazing , 5 stars.

We came here for a refreshing cocktail stop in the evening because it was a warm day. The cocktails were nice and tasty. They had plenty of options to choose fro.. Plenty of outdoor seating as well, which was nice if you want to get the whole experience of outdoor dining in Quebec.

The servers were extremely accommodating, the food was a ten! All in all one of the top ten Italian restaurants I've been too!

The location on the corner, sitting outside, a great drink that helped me mellow, plus pasta that I can't stop thinking about and helpful staff = best lunch of my trip to Quebec City. The pasta has perfectly cooked, very creamy and the parm shaving on top just added to the dish! I wish we lived there so I could have it again.

    Red wine. Lovely.

This place was pretty good but the service was so slow. The Deli Platter and pizza were really good! Pasta dishes were not bad.

You make a separate reservation and then enter through a black door and green curtain. Service is phenomenal. The bartenders and weight staff, as well as manager, all greet and serve you. They are extremely knowledgeable, and I love their forward thinking. They only use local ingredients for their drinks. If it doesn't grow in Canada or Quebec, they do not use it. So they do not use things like citrus. Instead, they come up with other ways to bring the flavor into their cocktails and food. And definitely try some food! We went for the drinks, but the food blew our minds. We got some mixed tapa plates and loved it all- especially the homemade beef jerky. The back patio is so nice during the summer. And the inside is a definite vibe. Can't wait to go back!

That means, no basic ingredients like citrus are used. That's basically telling the bartender they cannot make 99% of cocktails in mind and have to take risks to make something tasty happen. That concept in itself is a recipe to create things that will be genuinely and authentically Canadian. In other words, experimentation at its finest. Opened in 2024 by the team behind Quebec City's only 2 Michelin starred restaurant, Taniere, this is now the spot to be for those in the know. One lady in lower town took special delight in telling me "sorry, we're all full tonight", while I stood there with numb fingers and a raw red face where hail hit my face moments before. I passed Alphonse many times the last few days but tonight, instead of just passing through, i stopped in to look inside as another customer held open the door waiting for me to enter as he exited. So naturally, I went in. I was afraid they were about to close, but the hostess was welcoming and with a warm smile, showed us to our seats. The food was so good! We ordered the French Onion soup. My kids loved that the bread in the soup was still crunchy and not soggy. The baked Brie was a delicious start of what is to come next. My entree was the low temperature salmon. It was the chef's special (they call it inspiration of the chef). It was a salmon dish that is lukewarm. The salmon was so tender, it melted like butter in my mouth. It was a decent portion too. We got dessert to share- crème brûlée- also good! Ambience is smart casual.

The scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto had such a great flavor, so creamy. My dad got the burger, which was actually sliced beef brisket but he said the flavors were great and the meat was tender. I and a gin cocktail that also tasted great but can't remember the name The sever was efficient not overly friendly, hence why it only got 4 stars but I'd recommend the food here to anyone.
