HI had just parked and was walking in when I got a call saying I need to reschedule. My appointment was for a consult that's only 15 minutes long and there was a client scheduled right after me. She said anything beyond 10 minutes late has to be rescheduled. Understandable, but I was only 5 minutes late... Also, my initial appointment was scheduled for 3pm and they changed it to 2:45 pm without even giving a courtesy call to confirm the new time was ok. They just sent an automated text with the new appointment time. I left work early and had a bit of a drive to go there. The girl on the phone also had an attitude. I'm sure the services they provide are probably great but this whole experience totally turned me off from being a client there. They need to treat their customers better.

She made me feel comfortable and confident in her skills, so I came back the next week for cut & color. Let me say - WOW - I am gorgeous after this service. The color match was spot on at the roots, she refreshed the color on the length without making the change too drastic (I wear an auburn shade and like to keep it a secret that it isn't natural - please don't tell!), and the cut & blowout were perfect. After 15+ years at Philly salons, I am pretty used to sticker shock after the works, but the price here was VERY reasonable by comparison for services that met or exceeded their city counterparts. The salon is small, cute, clean. The products they used on me smelled great and I was comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. I like that this is not one of those pretentious places where you feel like they're going to talk about you the moment you walk away. You're getting your haircut or colored or whatever you need to feel comfortable and relaxed. It should be a pleasant experience and mine was.
