If your the neighbor of a home that has Saraceni closing their pool BEWARE! The workers drained the chlorinated water next to the homeowners fence that flooded my yard and bushes and plantings! My bushes will be dead! My plants will not come up again next year! The guy even looked over the fence before I got out there and told him he had to move it! He did and positioned it in the homeowners yard where it wouldn't hurt anything. TOTALLY inconsiderate of people's property and the time and expense put into it to keep things looking nice. In a word, awful. Customer service was horrendous. If you want to know why I say that, read on! I called to schedule a pool opening 3 weeks out. The day came, I called to confirm the appointment at 10:45am, the rude man I spoke to (who didn't identify himself) curtly told me I was number two on the list and the crew would just show up sometime in the afternoon and there would be no phone call to say they were on the way. So I took the day off work to wait for them. And that's all I did, wait for them. At 3:30pm I called and was told the crew called my number (which is a cell that only I possess) and spoke to some lady who said she did not want her pool worked on. I told them no one had called me and that I had confirmed the appointment at 10:45am. They debated whether or not they were going to reschedule since I had canceled, which I had not. They did reschedule for the next day. Because I had some business to tend to at the office, I scheduled them to arrive at 10:30am. The arrived at 9:30am when I wasn't home. Fortunately my wife and daughter were. However, the crew did not ring the bell or knock on the door. They just walked around the house, broke in to the pool area (it was a locked gate) and started working. The workman (Dave) added one gallon of algaecide and went to turn on the filter but found a piece broke. Dave told my wife the fix would be easy as soon as he brought the part over (he didn't have it with him). He said he'd be back when he got around to it. I called to file a complaint about that. Dave showed up the next day (Friday), fixed the filter and got it running. Said he'd be back Monday, "at least I say that." There were no more chemicals added to the water. I'm no pool expert (which is why I called them), but I know a pool opening requires more than a gallon of algaecide. But that's all they were offering. We took water to another pool company who tested it and got us on track to get the pool ready for use. I contacted Saraceni's and told them not to return. On Tuesday, guess who showed up and started breaking in to the pool area again (no ringing the doorbell, no knock on the door)? Yep, Dave. Fortunately my wife and daughter were home to tell them to leave the property. Next we received a bill in the mail for the full price of a pool opening. Two days later (before I had the chance to pay it or dispute it) my credit card (that was on file with them) was charged the full price. Never again. My advice to you is be careful with this company. They are rude and do not offer customer service. read more

One of the rudest companies I have ever dealt with. I called and made an appointment at the beginning of April to open our pool, I explained that we had just purchased the house and that they closed it. Appointment was made. Called the day of appointment to confirm time and was met with a very angry Patty who told me that I lied to her, when I had fully explained that the previous owner had closed the pool. Wouldn't let me talk or explain anything. Then they told me they were fully booked for the season and wouldn't be able to open our pool at all. Give your business somewhere else read more

Just called there. The kid who answered was extremely rude. I was going to drop a lot of money for upgrades now I won't set foot in there. It's a shame cause our other experiences there have been great. It's sad how one person can leave a bad impression that reflects negatively on a company. Very upset with you Dennis, Between myself & my mother we spent over $12,000, Promised to take care of the Problems on my mothers hot tub, told her the parts were ordered 3 weeks ago and to find out they were just ordered a day ago. You even took pictures! Then they come into your store to see whats going on, You get an attitude and KICK them out of your store! SO WRONG! Had Saracenti pool people close our pool, of course they just come when no one is home, since we are not fenced. Supposedly closed our pool Oct 2016, after reopening our pool May 2017 was completely left in a green state, didn't feel that any chemicals were used in the pool upon closing or opening of the pool of our pool. Called to get a resolution but got hung up on by Dennis and his mother I believe was named Beatrice who are owners. Was extremely frustrated at the situation tosay the least. A little time has passed since the occurrence, and dealing with my sick father at the same time and since has passed. By far felt so ripped off to this very day, by this whole experience fell the need to educate others since now is the time to close pools for the winter. Constent reminder of how innocent people are volurnable when dealing with Saracenti closing of pool season! Need to let other customers be aware. Rude and ignorant and unprofessional and unacceptable customer service, didn't care to even entertain the thought of taking time to meet us half way in a resolution!! To this day got ripped off for $336.00 for basically removing our pool cover off! Need to feel like I need to let others be aware Saranceti Pool people are a complete scam! Horrible Business Practice if any if u have a credit card on file remove it or cancel the card, they will charge your card without approval!!! read more
