It's been awhile sine I had a za from here and, last nights order didn't disappoint. Loved the cheesy ambience atop that crispy thin crust.

First time here and not our last. First off the service was top notch. The waitress made sure everything was great and went out of her way to do so. The chicken parmesan I had was outstanding!! And bigger then any I've had elsewhere. And the meatballs on my wifes spaghetti was huge!! Both of them. Yup coming back for sure. Prices were great as is the ambience of the place. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I think the old guy who is the mgr, maybe owner, came out from the back to argue with me. Yes I was esp frustrated bc an order that I was told would take 30 min had me waiting, standing the entire time for almost an hour. You don't argue with regular paying customers. I will be sure everyone knows customers don't mean anything to this place. NO FACE MASKS WORN OTHER THAN MYSELF AND ONE WORKER, OUT OF ABOUT 6 PPL IN THE BACK AND 4-5 CUSTOMERS. Order consisted of: Chicken Alfredo (2) Spaghetti and Meatballs The alfredo is on par with the most average leaning towards below average alfredo I've had. It tastes like what I imagine it would taste like to drink heavy cream with light seasoning. I didn't try the spaghetti and meatballs so I can't place a taste on it. Garlic bread came with the orders and it had to be the shining light. It was also very average it could have been very good but it wasn't seasoned enough. Usually if I get a place where the food isn't that great or the greatest I would probably rate it 2 out of 5 and give them a chance to redeem themselves but seeing as though I got food poisoning they have to get a 1. 1/5 I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone for any reason read more

I have ordered pizza from here for years and it is usually very good, anything else I have ordered has been quite good. I like my Pizza cut into pie slices not the Milwaukee Square cut, this doesn't sound like a hard thing to do but the last time I got my pizza it had been cut both ways which made for a sloppy mess of a pizza. read more

Such a bummer. We ordered a pizza and some boneless wings for delivery. The estimated wait time was 45-60 min. 75-80min later (1.5 miles away) our food arrived barely warm. The boneless wings, though crispy, were not stirred in the sauce, the sauce did, however, spill from the container in the bag making a mess in the bag and our carpet. The dry pizza had pepperoni on it instead of pepperoncini. Having a vegetarian wife, this was not a good thing. (3 weeks later) still no response from the restaurant. Bad customer service. read more

Stromboli is very big! Delicious and lots of pastry and filling. Great for 2-3 people and reasonable.

Haven't been here since 2009, so when I was invited to join a few of my railroad buddies, I quickly accepted the invitation. I discovered Saraphino's in 1992 when I started working on the southside and for years was a weekly regular, enjoying the huge menu and referring others. Now after a four year absence, I was looking forward to my favorite meal and I mean the Old Fashion Mushroom Steak ($10.95) complete with pasta side, choice of salad or cup of soup and garlic or Italian bread basket. Can't forget the ice cream dessert either. Don't think I can eat for a day there was so much food, but I did finish it all! My three friends were not only regulars, but stayed Italian with Bob and Keith ordering Chicken Parmigiana ($9.95) and Dave the Chicken Parmigiana & Lasagna Combo ($14.95). Not only did they all agree their large servings were delicious, but Dave had so much food, it looked like he could open his own restaurant. This is the Saraphino's I remember: wonderful food, great portions and excellent value. Add efficient service thanks to Lisa and this place is back on my list of restaurants. Do yourself a favor and buy some boxed pasta and a jar of Ragu. I had the meatballs and Penne and the meatballs were not good. The garlic bread was ok, but you cant really go wrong when you put lots of butter on bread. read more

I love this place, I always order their 747 huge pizza it's amazing the thin crust is always crispy with a very generous portion of cheese and sauce and whatever topping I decide to put on it. Hands down it's a sure win, the Fettuccini Alfredo is also wonderful. read more

The pizza is of fine quality and great price. The 747 is the best deal by far. We had them cater our rehearsal dinner. Pizzas and pans of pasta with garlic bread. The pasta was okay, but shouldn't have too high of expectations...pizza is their calling. We ordered five giant pizzas and two pans of pasta and some salads for just over $150 and fed 50 people with a ton of left overs. You get a lot for your money at this place. I signed up just to review the terrible food I had from this place. I really wish i could give it 0 stars. My family and I ordered off the room service menu at a nearby hotel and Saraphinos is what was delivered. We got a pizza and an appetizer sampler. The crust was rubbery and the sampler contained what should have been fried food, but I'm sure it was cooked in a microwave. So disappointing after waiting an hour and half for the food to arrive. We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It's in kind of a crummy little strip mall and looks like a little family restaurant but it was pretty good. My husband had the fish fry which was very inexpensive for the amount of food. I think it was $9 for 4 pcs of fried cod, soup or salad, pasta or potato, and 2 pcs of garlic bread. That's a lot of food! I had the Alfredo tortellini and it was delicious. It came with garlic bread and soup for around $12. For a Friday night during prime dinner hour, it was busy but not obnoxiously so and we were seated right away. The place needs some updating but it was a great value. The only thing that really turned me off was that one of the employees was standing in the corner watching everyone in the dining room and it was kinda creepy. I think he was mostly watching for people picking up to go orders but he was still creepy. read more

They make a fantastic lasagna with garlic bread here. And it's pretty big. It's dinner and lunch the next day.

This is the WORSE pizza I've had in a long, long time. Frozen pizza tastes better. Domino's is two steps up. The pizza is greasy and has a bad odor to it. I had cheese, sausage, and mushrooms. Food was good but even though I'm staying in a hotel, and it should be common knowledge to include plastic utensils for orders to hotel rooms, I figured I ought to mention it with my order. I have been a fan of saraphinos for many many years. The chicken parm or veil parm is tender and the sauce has a great flavor. The staff is excellent and the garlic bread and homemade soups are excellent. My family loves food there and it is well seasoned and hot when served. The place is a great value, but don't think that the taste of the food is as modest as the prices are. Pizza and fish fry also excellent. I have never been there for breakfast, but friends claim it is also very good. read more

What an amazing time we had! This hidden jewel is in South Milwaukee. The staff was very hospitable and knowledgeable of the menu. My friends and I tried the alfredo chicken pasta, Italian wedding soup, shrimp pasta and their house salad. We loved it. They are also known for their pizzas but we will save it for our next trip. Ordered delivery, it arrived early, piping hot and was delicious. The sauce is amazing, you can absolutely tell the food is homemade and not frozen. My chicken was crispy and delicious, but slightly over salted. Other than that it was amazing and I'm excited to order again in the future. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE SECOND TIME!! Ordered a delivery from this restaurant, when I received the order my food was wrong. I ordered Shrimp Siciliano which is a fettuccine dish with shrimp,mushrooms,onions,peppers tomatoes in garlic butter. I ordered it without tomatoes and a side of fries. When I got the meal there were no noodles sent with the meal, I called the restaurant and the manager got on the phone and I explained the situation and he was immediately rude to me saying I ordered it wrong and that it wasn't his problem. He even told me that his cooks thought something was wrong but they decided not to call and verify the order. Why would I order a noodle dish without the noodles? Someone there typed the order in wrong and I was left without the main part of my meal. This manager/owner was extremely rude, he didn't apologize for the mistake, instead he wanted to raise his voice and yell at me telling me it was my fault. Worst customer service ever, a reputable business would of taken care of their customer and fixed the problem immediately to make the customer happy. read more

Saraphino's has something for everyone on their menu. Every one of their soups is phenomenal because they are homemade! Delicious! Fabulous fish fry. Great baked cod, perch and shrimp choices are wonderful as well. Real homemade mashed potatoes and gravy are great with any of the meals. Daily specials are excellent and so reasonable. Always LOVE their Italian dishes especially pizza, like the huge 747 for large gatherings! Garlic bread and appetizers are so good before any meal. We have appreciated Saraphinos' kind, friendly and efficient service for years as well as great delivery service. Can't forget about their awesome burgers and sandwiches! Breakfast here is something to wake up for daily. The owners, servers, chefs/kitchen staff and delivery folks make a great team. Our long-time server remembers us and the little details of our favorite things to order each and every time. Very reasonable prices, fantastic choices throughout the menu. We visited Saraphino's ... found it totally by mistake ... and we were so pleasantly surprised! My husband still raves about our meal there -- and we were there in June! He had the Broiled Sicilian Cod which was huge! The owner told us that he was in the process of handing over the reins to the new owner ... and sounds like by the other reviewers' comments, he has kept the tradition going! The food is always good, quick and delicious. if it wasn't for the variance in waitresses this would be higher rated. The girl that works Mondays and wed named Lisa is a very good waitress and I have never had an issue with her. Over the years I have placed orders with this location and it's been ok. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but far from the worst. This afternoon I was told a coupon that had been sent to my house was an error - which is understandable. But any other business in the world would accept that as their own responsibility for producing, distributing or advertising such a coupon. A manager told me that he had the power to refuse any responsibility for this mixup and would not honor the coupon even though it clearly states it expires a week from today, and has no other restrictions included whatsoever. I will never again be treated so rudely when the mistake is on the part of the business. My family and I will no longer be supporting this business. read more
