I love love love this place! I am so glad I found her two years ago. I go to her for a bikini wax every month. Unlike other places, she uses a wax directly on my skin and NO STRIPS! What a relief to find an aesthetician that understands my temperamental skin! Sara is very knowledgeable in treating both aging skin and acne (I am blessed to have both). She skillfully assesses my skin and provides me with a custom treatment based on what I need at the time. Sara's skincare studio is decorated beautifully, impeccably clean and sanitary. Sara makes sure you are comfortable while providing services In a very professional manner. The treatments are personalized and the services are provided with special attention given to details. Sara takes care of my facials, eyelash tinting and bikini & facial waxing needs. I have really thin sensitive skin which used to turn bright red and breakout every time I went to be waxed. I am so thankful that Sara uses superior wax products which do not make my skin reactive. Sara is a very talented makeup artist. She did my makeup for my wedding and also did my makeup for a video shoot I recently had. She knows how to accentuate beauty without making you look unrecognizable or clownish. She also knows the difference between what is needed for a photo shoot vs video vs real life. If you have an important event coming up, don't risk going to anyone else. Sara is a true professional. She has tons of experience and can handle all types of skin, people, and looks. Sarah is Awesome! I highly recommend her facials and eye brow waxes. She is extremely thorough and caters to the specific needs of your skin. I have specific skin problems and the combination of her facials and recommended facial cleaners and moisturizers have solved my problems. SPRAY TAN is the reason I went. She may be great for other things but the tan was the worst $50 I ever spent. I left for FL the next day and had orange streaks galore, as well as white areas where it rubbed off (stayed there 20 minutes and she said it was dry...). Luckily I had self-tanner toweletts with me when i got to FL, but it was still an embarrasing look for a few days. Steer clear of this place for tanning! read more

Sara's Makeup and Skincare is indeed as good as it gets. Sara pays extreme attention to detail which is unusual. She is highly experienced and I go to her for tinting my brows/eyelashes (I'm grey), waxing, facials, and an occasional massage. She listens carefully and will do exactly what you want. She will offer suggestions if she knows this is okay with you (it certainly is with me!). She is flexible in scheduling and will schedule on phone or on email. She takes her business very seriously and it shows in all of her work. I've never had a complaint with anything she's ever done. And she is a person who gives recommendations carefully - so that when she does give a recommendation, I know that this person is the one to go to. I really like her. I really respect her. This is the absolute BEST salon for skincare in the bay area. I have been seeing Sara for my skin and bikini waxes for over 7 years now. As someone who has struggled to obtain clear skin all my life, I can honestly say that I have never seen such incredible results as I have after visiting this salon. She only recommends the best lines of products (Epionce is amazing!) and does a full analysis of each client's skin in order to customize a skincare routine that works for each individual. I decided to go here after looking at the reviews. Sara was very nice. Her place can be a bit difficult to find as you have to go through a nail place first. I went for eyebrow and eyelash tinting. Her recommendations for color were good. I didn't want to get my brows too dark. While the color was on my lashes she starting plucking my eyebrows saying they needed some cleaning up, however she changed the shape of them and never asked how I like them. She also didn't warn me that the developer would sting my eyes and the color didn't even reach my bottom lashes. (lash tinting defintely not worth what I spent) I'm sure most of her services are good.. she's had lots of experience but just make sure you ask questions and tell her exactly what you want or don't want! read more
