I was recommended to Bhalla's office by my primary doctor. I visited his office twice after being pre-diagnosed with Patellar Tendonitis. The first visit was just confirmation, and the second visit was after I received my MRI results. The process of scheduling an MRI is difficult enough, but during my second visit I had an appointment set for 9:30am, the Friday before the New Year. Earlier that week I had scheduled for 10:30am but called in 24hrs before my appointment to reschedule. I was fortunate enough to get the 9:30am appointment. Come Friday morning, I arrived at 9:15am. I wasn't seen until 11:30am.. I was beyond frustrated! In between this time I was communicating with the receptionist that my appointment was set for 9:30, which was originally 10:30.. All she said was Dr Bhalla is running late and we have a few people ahead of you, but you will be next. That wasn't case. Other people continued to go before me. When I was finally brought back to the room it was 11am. The doctor didn't come in until 11:30. At this point I'm just delirious because I felt disrespected. I showed at the agreed time, I paid my copay, and now I'm sacrificing my own pay at work because I'm spending the morning in a waiting room. I expressed to Dr Bhalla that I was extremely disappointed and he brought his nurse in after he realized my appointment was for 9:30. The nurse said she scheduled me for 10:30 which was my original time. I told her I called in and spoke with your receptionist and rescheduled for 9:30. The doctor then called in the receptionist. She then apologizes to me and tells me that she forgot to change the schedule Of course she didn't tell me this when I spoke to her about the long wait. After she left I continued to speak with Dr Bhalla about the lack of professionalism of his staff and how I am paying for their mistakes because of my time from work. I requested if I could at least receive my copay back. He just repeated over and over how he's sorry but he can't help me in compensating me for my time. Now I'm pissed off because I spent the last work day of the year, waiting two hours after my "set" appointment (even 1hr after my original appointment), paying a copay for a meeting that took 10min, while losing time at work that I need to make up in this upcoming new year Granted the situation wasn't the Doctor's doing, I felt they he failed on taking responsibility for his himself and his staff. In conclusion, my time wasn't valuable enough and clearly his time and the time of his staff was. I just received an empty "Sorry", and for that I give his office 1 star. read more

Great surgeon! Did a disc replacement for my husband. Very attentive and thorough doctor. He has a great bedside manner, especially for a surgeon. His office staff is also great, very friendly and efficient. The office is easy to get to, has a small parking lot, but we've never had trouble finding a spot. read more

Dr Bhalla is one of the best doctors in the world! I came originally for my knee that has had a lot of pain and he made me feel very comfortable during my visit. Dr Bhalla literally rebuilt my left elbow after a cycling accident I had on a Sunday afternoon, and he was the on-call orthopedic surgeon that day. I have the utmost respect for his incredible talents as his specialty was mentioned by most other health professionals when asked who my doctor was. His staff is excellent, Ronnie is one of the best office managers/nurses I've ever met. I'm extremely grateful for having him as my doctor. read more

Dr. Bhalla assisted his son in my daughters spine surgery. It was a success. He is a caring and talented dr. I highly recommend him.

I don't know how this "doctor" is still practicing. His office is old and filthy. His staff has no idea what they are doing. He "repaired" my colles fracture and put a pin in my wrist then casted my arm. The pin came out under the cast and the wound bled into the cast creating a foul order and possibility of blood poisoning. I called the office to make an appt to see Bhalla and was told that was "normal". When I got the cast off the odor in the office was horrific. I had a granuloma where the pin came out. I had to go to a dermatologist to have it removed because Bhalla tried to remove it and couldn't. read more

Am writing this review so that I know to refuse consent if I'm ever offered treatment by this doctor for me or my family again. Received treatment from this surgeon as part of emergency treatment, and, happily, the surgery site healed quickly and well. The follow-up office visits were a nightmare however. At both follow-up appointments, I was told upon my arrival in the office that I would need to reschedule the visit because the doctor had failed to order the x-rays needed to complete that particular appointment. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt the first time it happened, but I felt that it having happened a second time - and after I asked the doctor if I needed another set of x-rays before the next visit and was incorrectly told they could be done in the office - it was egregious. I found the office manager unhelpful when I told her that I had my doubts about the continuity of care if the same mistake was done on the same patient, and she walked away from me saying something to the effect she wasn't going to put up with "it." In my opinion, this wasn't treated as a learning process to correct an error in their patient care procedures, and I lost confidence in both the doctor and the office to provide proper service. To be honest, I should have taken note of a red flag during the first office visit when the doctor insisted that the visit was only three weeks out from surgery when, really, it was six weeks' post-op. He repeatedly said that I needed to return again in three weeks to complete the six week post-op visit. He became more and more angry with me when I repeated that the current visit was indeed the six week post-op until I verbally stated the current month and day versus the month and day of the surgery. It was only then that he became light-hearted, smiled, and said, "Oh, I thought we were still in last month!" Considering this happened after I had been turned away from the originally scheduled six-week post visit because he had failed to order an x-ray, I should have walked away sooner from this office. read more

So basically i went there took x-ray. Diagnosed from the doctor they changed me almost 1500 dollars. They even charge for thw copy of my x-ray for 20 dollars after they are charging few hundreds of dollars for my x-ray. They said the cd cost about 20 dollars. Today the cost of cd is extremely low, i am not sure why they are charging that much. The service was not good.. The representative was stupid and mean to answering a phone call. Recently visited this Dr. on 6/11/2018 and took my mri CD and copy of diagnosis with me. Passively aggressive Dr who is not professional enough to take the time to listen and/or empathize. Its not a Dr. job to judge his patients and be dismissive of a patient simply because questions are being asked in relation to "my" injury and "my activity" level. Secondly, having an intern(no older than 15-17) be in the office and not fully disclosing why this person is here AND leaving the door wide open during my visit seems to border a HIPPA violation. Also, he could have at least closed the door when he walked out the office as well. read more

How the heck does a doctor have 5 stars?? I know right?? Let me tell you how. I broke my wrist during a major car accident and had orders from the emergency room doctor to see an orthopedic surgeon in 1-3 days. No other office I called seemed to understand the severity of my situation until I called here. You would leave your children with this office staff and nurses. They are truly good people who went out of their way to get me in only a few hours after I called, surgery next day, and seeing me in person day after surgery (again accommodating my time). I didn't feel he was surgery happy at all and he provided me options besides surgery and I felt I could trust him because of that. I'm very blessed - with a bunch of things going wrong at once, at least my doctor went right. Thank you doctor Bhalla and staff for making the worst and scariest time of my life as easy and comfortable as you could. You are angels. read more

What an amazing doctor and staff. Dr. Bhalla is a extremely humble and compassionate professional. I was hit by a car while crossing the street with my dog and fractured my elbow. Dr. Bhalla has an awful bedside manner, which did not sit very well with me, nor my family. I realize it is not his job to make my Mom feel positive, hopeful or optimistic with regards to the results of her surgery. Dr. Bhalla is very educated and compassionate. It is refreshing to have a doctor these days that cares about their patients and takes the time to work with them to figure out the best course of treatment. He and his staff have worked hard and have always treated me with respect and dignity. I am one of those patients that always seems to present challenging symptoms that take a while to resolve. I very much appreciate not feeling given up on as I have with other doctors in the past. There is nothing worse than being made to feel unworthy of time and respect from a doctor when you are in dire need of help. Dr. Bhalla's staff that I have dealt with, Ronnie and Antoinette, have also been readily available and extremely patient and professional. I often feel like I am going to be "bothering" them once again when I call the office, but they have never made me feel that way. They have gone above and beyond to help me in a very timely manner. I know they are very busy and have many other patients to deal with so I appreciate their expertise as well. They never "forget" to call you back if you have to leave a message. Dr. Bhalla is a great surgeon. I went in there a day after hurting my knee and he was able to give me a correct diagnosis with just a quick glance at the X-ray. He sent me for an MRI to confirm and he was 100% right on the money. He office staff was also extremely helpful and polite plus they made the scheduling of the surgery super easy. For a first surgery I was very scared but helped me relax and did so in a very professional manner. I expected a lot of pain post surgery but have been pleasantly surprised by the lack of pain.
