Wow, what a find!!! These guys totally saved the day. I was just passing through town on 95 heading home to Alexandria and my car began overheating. Within an hour, Sarek had my car towed to their shop and me in a rental (with their corporate account) heading back home to Northern Virginia (not to mention a complimentary Uber ride to the car rental place). These guys defined exceptional customer service so much so, that I called three people just to brag about how awesome my breakdown experience was (strange, right?!) A+++ and 5*'s all around! Great service and turn time. Unfortunately, nullified by failure to complete a minor request that, from the onset of conversations, was promised. Although insignificant in relationship to the overall work being performed, a specific request, that was promised was not fulfilled upon after doling out thousands of dollars. The devil is in the details. Lack of attention given to job completion highlights integrity of the company. Something that costs no more than $50 that was overlooked, and still not resolved despite multiple promises, and as a result, the cost of keeping a lifelong customer. Complete missed opportunity. Manage expectations. Basic customer service and common courtesy. If you say you're going to do something, and your customers are as important as you say they are, then follow through and finish. read more

I recently went here to get an oil leak fixed on my Mini Cooper and when I got my car back my air didn't work! And when I asked the reception guy about it he told me that no one touched the air but when I got in my car the air was on! However they did fix my oil leak for $600! I would not recommend taking your vehicle here! They are very expensive and I would avoid this place completely, go to the dealership!!! read more

ME: 40y/o, Army Officer, Washington, DC Car: 2006 BMW X3 3.0i Fantastic, fast, and friendly---Auto repair without peer. Easily the very best car repair experience I have ever had. I was in town (Colonial Heights) for a military event, and really only had just one day to get several necessary repairs completed before heading back up to DC. Despite my very limited time constraints, Sarek Autowerke was accommodating, kept me informed throughout the repair process, and allowed me the flexibility to decide what work was to be completed. They were incredibly thorough and helped identify other problems and were candid enough to tell me whether or not I could let go, or if it was a potential safety hazard. Without hyperbole or exaggeration, this is the best car repair/repair experience I have ever had. I drive a BMW, and anyone with a luxury/high performance/import car knows that repairs are expensive (hence why i had several issues to work through). For the work caliber and volume of work they completed, I would have easily paid twice as much at a BMW dealership. Bottom Line(s): Customer Service: They called me often, and kept me informed; did not try to hide costs or expected repair times; could not ask for better. Repair: Excellent, my car drives better than ever. They checked everything; and I got it back the same day...probably an anomaly, but I was blown away with the quality and speed of the repair. Price: I have had work done at actual dealerships, and this is by far the most realistic, affordable AND MORE IMPORTANTLY honest pricing I have experienced. Intangibles: - The staff from mechanic to customer service rep were all well spoken and articulate. - This is a professional, knowledgeable organization that has not forgotten the customer. - The shop is clean and neat, almost surprisingly so. - The guys that work there are good, honest dudes. I've been meaning to write this for a long time. I bring my Land Rover here for everything! This is an independent shop and they explain everything, are courteous and stand by their work. It is wonderful to find a place you can trust. Prices fair too. Land Rovers are never cheap to repair but here you know they will do an excellent job and stand by their work.
