My husband won a class via silent auction and we planned a mini vacation in Escondido so I could fly here for my birthday. It was perfect! They have 2 rigs and an adorable property-plenty of space for my husband to safely let my 2 year old run around while I flew. The staff were all happy and fun and encouraging. They helped improve my swing and taught me two new tricks! The class had a range of experience levels and they made sure each had individualized instruction at their level. They know that 99.9% of people have never "flown" before and they are the masters at teaching first timers how to fly! IS IT SAFE?? From the ground till you land safely back on the super soft net, you're clipped in and safe. IS THE NET LANDING HARD? Not at all. It's unbelievable soft. You can literally land in any position (arms outstretched, neck first, etc) and the net is designed to make all landings soft and injury free. Getting off the net is the hard part haha because it's so soft! :) GOOD FOR DATES? Yes and yes! Whether it's your first date or you just want to try something new, flying trapeze is exciting and will have you cheering for each-other before you know it! GOOD FOR GROUPS? Oh yes! It's a VR play store where they have individual stalls (about 8) each equipped with a screen, one VR headset, and hand remotes. You can play by yourself or join someone else's game in the other stalls. There's a 100 different games to choose from. There are also 2 virtual driving stations. Due to the complexity of using the remotes, I'd say these activities are best suited for 7-8 year olds and above. They also do birthday packages which I'm sure are popular among the kids. The owner Jordan is awesome. He is super friendly and helpful. I don't know how he does it but he is able to manage all 8 individual stalls and troubleshoot for each person right away. You pay every 30 min. They offer happy hour which is half off Monday-Thursday from 5pm to close. So we paid $10 for 30 mins for each stall which was a good deal. They also have a punch card so the more you play, the more free play time you can earn. My kids are already asking to go back lol :p we shall return soon for more fun!
